addendum: i’m probably going to skip the section that is edward vi’s reign bcus, jfc, i do not want to have an aneurysm wrt how w/eir handles those...events, in elizabeth’s life, but another thing that seems to have shifted is that it’s evident she believed anne loved elizabeth ---> ‘gender disappointment theory’, anne actively feeling an ‘emptiness’ and no connection with her, no adoration or admiration of her child, in her novel of AB, also not compatible or in the same ‘universe’ here.
