#the pottery place just opened so i'm hoping maybe other cool things will start popping up??

this week, i got dinner with friends, including one i haven't seen since she was last in town and was pregnant. her daughter went into 1st grade this year!! i also met her husband for the first time. me and her and the other friend with us have known each since middle school (!!!) and it was so wild to think about that. went to the eye dr and was right that i can't put off getting new glasses/lenses for another year :/ next week, i'm taking a pottery class with someone who i've known also since middle school but want to be closer friends with since she moved back to our hometown. i hyped myself up to ask if she wanted to and she said yes. forcing myself not to isolate!!! forcing myself to not just work and sleep!!! one day i will make it out of this town but trying to make the best of it while i'm still here <3
