I think we might be headed for a St Mary Magdalen vs St Patrick poll

And I just need that

This is the most fun I've had with anything church related since I had to explain to my entire class, at the ripe old age of 10, while attending a Catholic school, that I couldn't take communion during mass because:

1) I hadn't had a first communion

2) I was not baptised

3) my parents weren't even married in the eyes of the Lord

And then they realised I had indeed been mumbling all my prayers for the first month of school since I knew none of them (and that there was a reason I didn't know how to follow a mass)

Personally I think we are headed to a brawl among St Mary Magdalene, St Patrick, St Francis of Assisi, and St Oscar Romero. It's going to be ugly and delicious. It's going to be like the holy wars but less violent. Equally unhinged and feral.

I am very happy indeed you are having fun with this church related poll!!! I too went to Catholic school but I was Catholic and whenever there was a non-Catholic kid it was so exotic.
