Can you share some soft Loki headcanons if you have any, please? ^.^
- Loki's always found the idea of space terrifying. He hates travelling through the Bifrost because for an instant there’s nothing past the rainbow and you cant feel anything and its disorienting and he hates it and that's what he imagines space would feel like. Despite him finding it scary he loves learning about the stars and looking out into what the infinite expanse of space holds. Even when he was surrounded by darkness and was falling through space with no hope of surviving he was grateful he would get to die watching the light of the stars. Even though his experiences around the fall were traumatising he doesn't think he’ll ever be able to look at the night sky in anything but awe.
- Loki generally can not handle anyone treating another badly especially if its undeserved and what they’re being accused of is unproven. He’ll always stand up for someone being wronged because he’s been there. He knows its demeaning and not fun. He doesn't let anyone get treated as different and will either make everyone act inclusive and treat each other as equals or fight you for insisting otherwise. He’ll stand up for everyone because equity and equality might be things Asgardians struggle to grasp but Loki spends all his life hoping for acknowledgement and knows its importance. Because of this Loki was instrumental in Sif eventually become recognised as a warrior (and being allowed to train at all to begin with).
- Loki just overall cares ‘too much’ about things that others don't put importance in. For example: Loki takes ridiculously good care of plants, the book still looks new even though he’s read through it multiple times, meticulously ensures his clothes remain spotless, carefully handles weapons, uses minimum force to touch anything in fear of breaking anything, values soft sounds and cool-toned views. It’s because he sees worth in everything, especially the small things that others overlook. Except himself. For some reason he doesn't see worth in that.
- He just. cant function if children are around. its a complete 180 if compared to how he flaunts snarky comments at adults he knows. he’ll keep being extra careful and not trying to make them uncomfortable. every second thing he says to them is encouragement. he’ll ignore everything anyone else has to say or wants to think if it means paying attention to anyone small in the room. he doesn't treat them like they’re babies but while he treats them with the respect they deserve he will insist on taking care of any task for them. he continuously appreciates them and anything they show interest in. it is painfully evident that he doesn't want them to feel like he did himself when he was young.
- Loki has an infinite supply of comfort foods stashed in his pocket dimension. to de-stress he will literally wrap himself in a fluffy blanket and sit with a cup of hot chocolate and brownies with ice cream. if anyone else is feeling down they’ll find foods to make them feel better lying around conveniently even if they don't express that they’re feeling down at any point.
- He can tell when others are lying because he’s able to read emotions in body language and hear it in words spoken. Because of picking up on emotional cues easily and being generally observant he can easily manipulate people into being happy by erase the cause of distress or anger or distracting them to make them feel better. And he will shamelessly do everything in his power for the people he cares for to stop being sad. He doesn't understand why no one notices when he’s experiencing negative emotions but maybe its because he hides it so well?
- He likes soft sounds. They’re calming and fill silence while not distracting from any tasks at hand. Basically anything with a violin is good for him. He ensured he was in Stuttgart half an hour before he would need to be so he could literally just stand around enjoying to the music.
