Rereading earlier chapters and I cannot BELIEVE myself for almost making Jaxon the traitor lmao
#it was actually the way dahlia was headed#at the end of chapter one in dahlia when sam and ryan go to hang out with him at his friend's house he gets called a traitor for killing hi#in the game#and it says he ''flinches''#the other bits of foreshadowing for it was in chapter 16 when ryan falls into the lake and he doesn't jump in after him#and in chapter 29 he's uncharacteristically less concerned about elliot than he probably should be#and jaxon was supposed to lead leo to the roof to push her not get so angry during their fight that he does#also i believe his backstory with Dylan was that he was trying to get killing them out of the way so that was what caused the explosion#but then he got scared and pushed them out of the way#but also he was like nine years old#so jaxons thing was that he was gonna just keep putting the other kids in life threatening situations bc he was meant to kill them#but it just Kept Not Working for him#but then i didnt know how i was going to end that character arc#like what?? was i meant to just kill him???#that wouldve been a Twist for sure#oc: jaxon#villain jax would've been really fun tho#not to suggest that i don't have an Arc set up for him#the sort of shit you'd expect from leo
