"Mr. Drew? What kind of personality does bendy have off set? Is he still mischievous or is he laid back?"
âOff set? Can there even be an off set when thereâs no on set? Well, regardless⌠heâs always rather mischievous, even after-hours he likes to make trouble for Boris, Alice, and myself. He can be quite a handful, but he wouldnât truly be Bendy otherwise, right?â

104 for Jack, Sammy and Wally?
104. Thatâs a fact, Jack.
(Iâm gonna do something with my âthe ink itself frees everybody because Joey didnât feed itâ Au* as Iâve made memes about it but havenât written (or posted what I have) anything about it. *Title still a wip)
There were many, many, pros to getting freed from the studio, or rather, the studio's loop in most people's cases. Almost too many for anyone who had the misfortune of once living in it to count. But there were also a fair amount of cons. One of those cons being that it was kinda difficult to sneak ink monsters and living cartoon characters into society without raising suspicions. Thankfully for the group, by the time they got back to civilization it was dark and cold enough for coats, giant hats, and long scarves to be normal wear when out and about, making it easy to hide most of the odder ink monsters. But it was obvious that lingering in heavily packed and bustling cities like New York wasn't the greatest long-term investment.
Another big con was that Sammy went missing shortly after the studio went down once and for all. And as it had happened every time that the mad maestro was taken out of the picture 'for good' in the studio, the lost village was once again in a chaotic uproar that were refusing to listen to Henry, Tom and Allison. This time, with their heightened sentience, these angry ink creatures were mostly vocally angry, there were still some lost ones who got physical with the gang, (but they were rare as most of them feared Tom, Allison, Susie, and Norman enough to not try anything.) and ones who were both.
"Ah, for the love of... not these guys again."
"Liar! Liars all of you!"
"I'm gonna rip you to pieces!"
"Fuck off!"
"You killed him! Again and again you killed him! Every single time... You came to OUR village, you defiled OUR church, you had killed OUR prophet, followed it up by killing all of us as well... And now that he won't come back you expect us to grovel at your feet and obey your every whim?!"
"Behind you, Dumbass!"
"Leave us alone! Don't you think you've done enough?!"
"Start praying!"
"What makes you think you're any different from that lying puppeteer?!"
"You can run from your sins, but you can't hide from them!"
"Get them, get them, get them, get them!"
"Kill them!"
"You Bastards!"
"Just like Joey... Just like Joey... Just like Joey... Just like Joey... Just like Joey... Just like Joey... Just like Joey... Just like Joey..."
"Enough, you sons of bitches!"
"Not again..."
"Go Away!"
"You've led him astray for too long false shepherd, now that you've powerless, you can't expect us to follow you too..."
If it was difficult to herd thousands of ink creatures in general, it was even harder to herd them when they were fraught with worry and despair over their missing prophet as well as furious and terrified of the ones they blamed for his disappearance. Who had unfortunately for Henry, had been himself, Tom, Allison, Susie, and Inky, who was very bitter about learning that pretty much everyone in âhisâ cult were actually only loyal to the missing musician.
The task of trying to get the lost ones and searchers to not start a giant riot that would cause a global eldritch ink outbreak had fallen to Jack and Wally. As the group had agreed that as they were the ones that Sammy was closest to before the studio fell, theyâd be the ones whoâd the village would listen to out of everyone who had been on Henry's side.
While it was a good idea on paper, in practice, the reality was that a swollen searcher with a hat and sentience and a talking tape recorder simply didn't make good replacements for the Prophet, let alone convince anyone that they were. However, they were mercifully a lot more civil with the pair than they were with Henry's other friends. Well, at least they were for the most part.
"I'm sorry, but I just can't take you two seriously. As leaders, I mean."
"No thanks, but good luck finding someone who will take you up on that."
"The Prophet was a complete loon, and an idiot for trusting the false shepherd in the first place... But he was a loon who had held us together when no one else would."
"Please just leave."
"You weren't there for us then, how can we trust you to be there for us now?"
"We understand that they fear we'll infect the world, but please tell them that they should at least give us time to grieve. We won't be leaving this place anytime soon to our knowledge."
"...He was more than just our prophet to us you know."
"Count yourself lucky none of us have killed you on the spot yet and just crawl back to your precious 'Creator' already."
"I doubt either of you two together have half the willpower he had."
"...Go Away."
"I want to trust you two... but I don't like that you're trying to replace him. Especially so soon."
After a long day of rejections and getting doors either slammed in their faces or having people awkwardly creaking the door closed in their faces, Jack crawled back to his hotel room, collapsed on the bed and chucked Wally onto the pillow of the other bed. Both glad the day was over and dreading the next one.
"Ugh, what a town..." Jack sighed as he was almost about to melt into bed, he quickly reformed with a sense of chilled dread in his tone "...I don't think that Conner or the Ink Demon will be too happy to hear that they don't plan on leaving."
Static played out of Wally's speakers before the tape recorder man finally got his thoughts together. "...Fuck."
"Fuck indeed." Jack nodded. "Fuck, indeed..."
"What are we gonna do?!"
"Calmly explain to the group that the town needs time to process everything going on before they try getting a new leader. ...And hope that the Ink Demon doesn't try to make the situation worse."
"Uh huh... Easieah said than done. How do we pull THAT off?"
"Good point, um..."
As the two mulled over how to break the news to the group, the phone on the nightstand began to ring. Startling both of them out of their thoughts.
"Should I pick it up?"
"Well I ain't got no arms."
"Oh! right..."
The searcher fumbled with the phone for a bit, almost worried that he accidentally hung up on the mystery caller. But instead, a familiar voice came through the speaker.
"Hello, Is this Wally and Jack?"
"Sammy! Thank goodness ya called! You've gotta entiah cult dat misses ya! We've trying gettin' them outta the studio, but they won't budge! They'll only listen to you!"
The speaker paused for a moment, almost as if expecting that response and unsure of how to proceed.
"...Well that's awkward because I only called to ask if you two wanted anything from Europe."
"What?!"
"As long as you're asking and if it's not too far out of your way, there's this Spanish nougat called TurrĂłn. I've always kinda wanted to try it."
"Got it. Wally, what about you?"
"Ya gotta be pullin' my leg! You're going to Europe?! Now of all times?!"
"That's a fact Jack."
"I'm not Jack he's ova there!"
"Wally, it means that I'm not discussing this any further. And in this case, I couldn't even if I wanted to."
"I...!"
Wally thought this through. He knew Sammy and he knew that if he tried to push any more than he already was, he'd only shove him away, possibly when he'd be in danger too. But if he didn't, he'd lose the precious opportunity to get information on where the musician went. But if he did, he'd do unrepairable damage to his relationship with the man who had done everything in his power to keep him and his family off of the streets in his time of need. But if he didn't, Thomas would be mad at him if he told him about talking to Sammy.
He made up his mind.
"...Fine. Get me... da weirdest thing ya can find an' buy in a foreign gas station."
"Got it."
"And Stay safe, ya hear me! I don't wanna hear ova da news dat ya got yerself killed ova somethin' stupid okay?"
"Okay, you two stay safe as well. Bye guys."
"Bye."

No Longer Lost
Iâm...not a writer ;w; Or at least Iâm an amateur one. But I really wanted to write a short story of an interaction between a character and Ivy like they had encountered her in the game. This is pretty much a one-shot, but I hope you guys like it nonetheless!! ^^;
(A brief backstory on the characters ok so Piper is a journalist who visited the studio to make a report on the whole history of the place and Grey is an 11 year old boy who is really chill and followed Piper inside because he wanted to brag to all his friends. Right now theyâre on level P)
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
The eerie ticking counting the dancing feet of the Bendy clock also counted the heartbeat pulsing within the journalistâs chest. She swallowed hard as her sweaty fingers grasped around the handle of the mysterious gun. Each tick of the clock seemed to count down to the moment of her untimely death.
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
âPiper?â
She snapped back to attention as the dusty-blonde 11-year old waved his hand in front of her nose. Grey raised his brow. âEarth to Piper, do you copy?â
âYes, yes,â she panted, pushing his hand out of her face. âIâm ok justâŚâ Piper didnât know what she needed. At leastâwhat could actually be given to her right then and there. Boris gently placed his gloved paw on her shoulder sympathetically. She didnât know why, but the beast seemed quiteâŚhuman. And not like the other seemingly heartless monsters they had encountered so far. Compared to them, Boris was a gentle giant whom she didnât mind having around--despite him being very unnatural to look at. The woman looked over her shoulder and patted the wolf on the head, his eyes closing in content. âWe wonât be long, buddy,â she said softly. âJust stay out of trouble.â
The hallway was damp and dark, with pillars of ink cascading down the walls, and making the floorboards squeak and groan. And the dripping. The dripping. A chill ran down Piperâs spine, and she turned to Grey for hope of mutuality. To her frustration, the kid seemed unfazed by the studio â his collected demeanor and how he encountered each monster with such a chill attitude made the woman feel almost like she was seeing visions. Either that, or Grey was insane.
âFive hearts,â the boy recalled, scratching his chin. âWhere could they beâŚ?â
âLike Iâd know,â Piper replied, trying to mask her fear with wit. Grey was unamusedâor perhaps he was? His blank expression and the way he clenched his sucker between his jaws said absolutely nothing. She regained her senses a bit before speaking again. âBut we should hurry. Who knows what will draw theâŚthe demon inâŚâ
Grey nodded as he already knew what was at stake before turning his head and pulling on Piperâs sleeve anxiously. âPipes! Pipes, lookit!â
âI told you to stop calling meââ the woman began to snap back in irritation before reluctantly glancing up in the direction the boy was pointing. She made a sound quite reminiscent of a squeak and leapt back, her only means of defense once again squeezed between her grasp and trembling in her anxious palms. Before the two stood, or more accurately sat, a creature. An almost human looking creation with massive horns that pierced through the sides of its small and deformed skull. Its mouth gaped, revealing several jagged teeth and ink dripped down in front of its one cartooned eye and one pit that held a tiny glow â almost like it held some sort of spirit inside. The creature stared unblinking at them, breathing heavily enough to almost throw its small frame off balance.
âWhatâŚthe actualââ Piper breathed softly as she awkwardly tried to hide behind the boy. Grey stood immobile for a few moments before reaching out his small hand.
âHey, little guy,â he murmured, slowly inching closer. Piper gripped his hood and yanked him back, a movement so sudden the monster crouched low like a cat about to dash away from a vacuum.
âGrey are you insane??â she snapped at him in a harsh yet whispered tone. âEverything down here has done nothing but try to KILL us! Stop trying to befriend things you donât understand, itâll only kill you!â
The boy stared into the womanâs fear-struck eyes and furrowed his almost nonexistent brows. âLet go,â he said sternly, not giving a chance for Piper to respond before jerking his shoulder away from her, his own fiery eyes still fixed on hers. âAnd you donât know that. Look what happened to Boris. And donât you remember Sammy? Piper, these are all people. People who are trapped here and they have NO memory of their life. No knowledge of good and bad and are just doing what they do because itâs the only thing they know. You tell me all you want to do is tell people the story of this place? This is the story. The blood of it, actually. You donât give a care about these people. You only care about yourself. And your stupid article.â
As Grey backed away from her, he scowled. Disgusted at the woman he considered to be a bit rough around the edges, but was soon revealed to be a lot more rough than he initially thought. She stood dumbfounded, her own brows quivering as the kid spoke the truth that pierced her very soul. Grey continued to make his way towards the monster, his hand palm-up and carefully outstretched before him slowly bridging the gap between the lost soul and the boy. The creature twitched anxiously and released a croak, its neck stretching out to carefully examine the act of affection this stranger was offering it.
âIâm a friend,â the boy said quietly. âIâm not gonna hurt you. Itâs okâŚâ The inky, drippy mess of a person adjusted itself to be more comfortable. Perching on its hind legs and using one of its forearms to carefully touch the hand. No one had ever been this gentle with it, or Grey assumed as such as its clawed paw quivered with anxiety and hesitated greatly before placing its cold, wet hand into his.
âa sUrPriSeâŚ?â the creature asked in a gargled, yet feminine tone. âwhAt iS It, fATheR?â
Piper sighed deeply, her limbs releasing the prior tension and fear of the unknown. Perhaps Grey was right. Perhaps this studioâŚdid still have some good left in it. As the woman began taking steady steps towards the creature, it perked up and hurriedly crawled away, its breathing becoming more intense. The journalist froze before looking where it had gone, her face twisted in confusion. But the beast sat a good thirty feet away from the humans, bouncing up and down as it purred and mumbled random phrases.
âIâm gonna follow it,â Grey announced, not looking back at Piper in spite. âYou can just stay here andâŚtry not to die, I suppose.â
The woman said nothing to argue, and instead watched as the boy trotted after the creature. It looked happy and bounced off, Grey right behind it. Piper stood alone for a solid second before following suit as well. She may not trust or even like the creature, but she would hate to see the kid get hurt. Plus if he did get hurt, she could be there to witness it. And perhaps remind him of his foolishness.
The scrawny beast found its way to a mysterious doorâone of which the likes of the two humans didnât even notice when they came this way before. Piper was taken back in shockâdid she just not notice it? Or did it justâŚwell it couldnât have! âŚCould it?
At the right base of the door was a vent shaftâtoo small for the two to fit inside but the perfect size for the little monster to squirm in, adding more inky stains to the entrance as if it had gone in before many times already. Grey frowned as he watched the being slink in and create deep, metallic vibrations through the walls and floor as it climbed through the darkness. But a sudden click of the door alerted to the confused humans that the monster didnât just decide to ditch them. It was allowing entrance.
Grey eagerly turned the handle to reveal a small room behind it with many relics scattered across the remains of the floorboards. A gramophone was placed on a wooden desk bearing many scribbles of a mysterious characterâone that looked similar to Bendy, but the way its sheep-like horns curled around the sides of its head instead of pointing upward like the little devil they knew proved to them this was something completely differentâyet familiar.
Piper gently brushed off the collection of dust from the small shelf bearing many plush versions of the horned cartoon character with delicate fingers. âThis isâŚit,â she marveled looking down at the boy then turning to see the small beast who was now sitting in the corner. Its eyesâŚits eyes now held a more gentle and fragile glimmer to them. A human-like glint of sadness that was trapped behind the smiling shell of a disgusting abomination.
âPapA sAidâŚhE woULd maKE mE a sTArâŚâ it whimpered silently as the two looked over at its pitiful face. âwhY woULD he eVEr LiE to MeâŚâ
Grey slowly removed his lollipop from his mouth and placed it back in his pocket. âSomeone lied to you?â he asked gently.
âI trUSt yOU pApaâŚâ
Piper didnât care that that wasnât a legitimate answer. This creature was trapped. Forgotten. Lonely. Betrayed.
To the right of her sat a golden tape player, in which the woman lifted up and slowly pressed the âplayâ button. From all she knew of these strange tapes, perhaps it would be able to provide the answer that this creature couldnât with its limited speech. Greyâs ears peaked to listen as he sat with the creature to provide comfort with a doll. A gravely voice soon echoed through the speakers, creating a chill to run down the monsterâs jagged spine.
ââŚSheâs not really dead. I saw it. Mr. Drew murdered her, but by some godforsaken sorcery or whatnot, she was revivedâbut as a slimy, distortedâŚIVY!! I couldnât believe my very eyes. I had to get the police involved as soon as I could. But when I did, they couldnât finds her anywhere. I tells them what I saw, and they just LAUGH at me. They couldnât believe me, and why would they? It was silly, yes, but I saw it! With my own two eyes!
But JoeyâŚoh, he goes and he tells these men that it was all just a big misunderstanding. He straight up LIES to their faces!! TomorrowâŚIâmma confront that man again. I ainât workin for nobody like him no more! That filthy rat has another thing coming! I quit!â
Click.
The room fell under an uncomfortable pin-drop silence. The silence where all you could hear is your heart racing and the ink dripping. Grey looked up to match gazes with the monster, but it wasnât looking back. It only gently ran its fingers along the outline of the wood grains in the floorboards. It said nothingâdidnât even make the slightest gargling noise. Instead, it just breathed slowly, its raspy breath being caught in its throat. âIsâŚis that you?â the boy finally asked after a long pause. The creature finally raised its heavy head.
âLovE rEquiRES saCRiFiceâŚâ
The beast bent her head back down and raised her paws up to bury her pitiful face into them and releasing a quiet sob. So much grief, so much emotion all swirled up in what remained of her former heart. Piper joined the two, and knelt down to put one hand on the poor monsterâs sticky shoulder. Her paws slowly slipped down her inky face as she tried to wipe away tearsâonly no tears came. Just the dark embodiment of the lifeblood of the studio.
âHow can we help her?â Piper finally asked, not even expecting a proper answer. She knew Grey had no idea eitherâif there was something they could do, they would probably know it already. And it came to no surprise when the boy sighed and shook his head. The beast, however, did. She raised her gloved hand to point at the forgotten weapon the journalist left behind at the door frameâthe Tommy Gun.
Piper shook her head violently. âNo, no, Ivy, weâre gonna save you! Come with us, weâll introduce you to Boris, and weâll take you back up to the surface!! Trust us!â
The creature shook her own head, heavy horns swinging from side to side and flinging specks of ink onto the humans. âsaCRiFicEâŚâ she mumbled as she stood to her feet and crawled almost lifelessly to the weapon.
âNo, Ivy. Put that downâŚâ Piper almost choked on her words. âWeâll get you out of here! You wonât have to suffer any more!â
âPiperâŚ?â Grey muttered as Ivy clutched the gun to her chest and wept softly. âWe canât help her.â
âShut UP, Grey!â she snapped again, tears beginning to form on her lower lids. âYou said yourself, these are all people! We canât leave her here to justâŚsuffer!â
âSheâs already suffering!â Grey raised his voice for the first time, catching the woman off guard. The boy quickly retracted his harsh tone and sighed. ââŚand she always will. Pipes, taking her to the surface wonât change her physically. She will always be a monster, always continue from the suffering brought upon her. We have to end it for her.â
Piper once again stood speechless as Grey carefully took the gun from Ivyâs hands. âButâŚâ she mumbled before receiving the weapon from the boy. The woman turned again to the beast, who sat up straight and smiled.
âIt hURts, paPa...â Ivy mumbled as she slowly put her hands together, her paw and fingers holding each other gently. âleT me gOâŚâ
Grey turned away, pulling his hood over his head to hide the pain in his eyes. With great reluctance, Piper slowly raised the gun to Ivyâs small and fragile chestâthe chest of a tortured and twisted little girl. The chest that held a broken heart of a lost soul wo just wished to be free from this hellish pain.
âI trUST yoU.â The small voice whispered. âDonâT bE scAReD.â The woman smiled, her eyes reddening from tears and guilt. Why did she ever hate this small being? Why did she have to grow so close to her in such a short time? Why did she have to be the one toâŚsave her? Piper gently stroked Ivyâs ink-stained cheek for the first and last time, the monsterâs own quivering enhancing hers.
âBe free little one.â

in love with you
quick a/n: Iâm still working on requests. Iâm sorry. Iâm slow af and Iâm such shit at posting. This took me forever, so I hope itâs okay. I promise Iâll try to get better at posting.Â
--------------------------
Derek turned over and stretched his arms out to your side of the bed, only to find it empty. It was then that he opened his eyes, looking for you, but not seeing you in his room. He checked the time to see that it was still early, so he knew you didnât leave for work yet.
Sitting up, Derek got out of bed and pulled on a pair of joggers and trudged down the hall, still trying to figure out where you were. He didnât have a message from you on his phone saying that you ran somewhere, and it was only 9:30. He couldnât think of anywhere you would be and it was very rare of you to leave without texting him or leaving him a note on your pillow that you had to be somewhere or something.
When he made it to the end of the hallway and into the living room he smiled, seeing you in the kitchen in one of his shirts.
You had woke up before Derek, and you wanted to make breakfast for the two of you before he headed off to the studio and you had to head into work, so you pulled on your panties and grabbed one of Derekâs shirts he had laying around in his room and headed through the living room into the kitchen.
You loved cooking. Well, it wasnât your favorite thing in the world, but you loved spoiling Derek. He was so good to you. He treated you better than any man ever had before. You loved having Derek be a part of your life. He made you so happy, and in your opinion, he deserved the world, and you tried to give that to him.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Derek just watched as you pranced around the kitchen, lightly singing along to the songs that were playing on your phone. You were so adorable. The way you were so full of energy in the mornings, it was one of Derekâs favorite things about you. You made his mornings better. Waking up next to you most mornings was something that put a smile on Derekâs face.
He watched you adoringly. You were so beautiful.
He approached you, the sound of his feet padding across the floor, yet you still jumped when he wrapped his arms around you from behind.
âmorning babyâ his voice rasped in your ear, giving you chills.
âgood morningâ you smiled, placing your hands over his on your waist, and turning to kiss him briefly on the lips.
âwhat are you doing?â he asked, letting you go, but his touch still lingering as his hand slid down your side a bit as he leaned against a spot of the counter.
âI thought Iâd make you breakfastâ you smiled.
Another thing Derek liked about you. Your smile. The way one side would turn up half a second before the other. And the way your dimples revealed themselves, or how cute and chubby your cheeks got. It was breathtaking.
âyouâre too good to meâ he teased, watching as you continued to make his breakfast, which was smelling delicious.
You just turned and pursed your lips at Derekâs little comment and rolled your eyes.Â
The two of you were playful. You joked around and teased one another, and your sarcastic nature just made it come...well natural. You loved how there was a sense of seriousness to the two of you, but it was mostly fun, because in your opinion, too much seriousness is boring.
You had finished Derekâs breakfast and had it all on the plate nicely and set it down in front of him at the little breakfast bar of an island he had in his kitchen; which was rarely used unless you were there.
âdamn baby, all this for me?â he asked, practically drooling over the food.
âof courseâ you smiled
âyou really are way too good to meâ he smiled, leaning over a bit to place a short and gentle kiss on your lips.
âyou deserve it D.â you smiled, reaching over and dipping your finger in the whipped cream of his waffle and then bringing it to your mouth, licking it off your finger, only to bring it into your mouth, sucking the rest of it off.
your little action turned Derek on a bit. Especially this early in the morning, when he had already woke up semi hard. His eyes raked you up and down, a shade darker as they were filled with lust.
âwhat?â you let out a short little laugh, unsure why Derek was staring.
âIâm just such a lucky man to have you in my life babeâÂ
----------------------------
After breakfast, and some steamy sex in the shower, you were getting ready for work and Derek was getting ready to head to the studio.
You found an outfit in the drawer that used to harbor Derekâs socks before you stumbled into his life; but now was filled with different articles of your clothes.
When you were finally ready, you kissed Derek goodbye and headed off to your job, Derek following you on the way out as he headed off to the studio.
----------------------------
Derek was at the studio with Nate, KDL and Sammy and Stassie were there as well. Nate was in the booth, and everyone else was out sitting around, but Derek stayed on his phone, texting you.
Yeah you were at work, but you were a dress designer. Wedding, red carpet, prom, any kind of dress you made it. Derek was so attracted to your work ethic and determination. He admired it actually. He loved when he would come home and see you on the couch at his place, since you had your own key now, and he would love to see you with your pad in your hand and a pencil in between your lips, drawing out your next new design.
Derek was dazed, wrapped up in his own little world. He couldnât help it. Whenever he wasnât with you he wanted to be. He didnât even notice Nate come out of the booth.
Nate laughed when he saw Derekâs phone in front of his face, not even paying attention to what was going on around him.
âwhatâs up with him?â Nate asked no one in particular.
âtake a wild guessâ Sammy spoke, letting out a little chuckle like it was obvious.
âreally?â Nate asked, sitting down on a couch.
âyeah man...heâs got it badâ Sammy replied, earning him a nudge from Stassie.
âdonât be a dick Sammy...You were the exact same way with me...Plus câmon...itâs obvious he loves her, give him a break. Your first real love is so important.â
Hearing the word love caught Derekâs attention, his head quickly snapping towards where the conversation was coming from.
âwhat?â he kinda laughed, because Derek Luh certainly didnât fall in love...ever. Mostly because Derek doesnât cuff.
âoh câmon D, Stass is right, you love herâ Nate spoke, a blunt hanging from his mouth.
Derek just shook his head no. He didnât fall in love. He didnât get feelings. He didnât cuff. He didnât do relationships. Thatâs never been what heâs been about.
âno?â Nate asked, eyeing Derek.
âare you guys even together?â Sammy asked.
âNoâ Derek spoke.
Derek gave everyone little details about the two of you. Obviously everyone knew who you were, first meeting everyone at a club Derek invited you too, and then a house party, and now whenever they all hang out or do something you show up with Derek.
And yeah, talking to the guys Derek definitely talked about your sex life, which was pretty wild.
âso you wouldnât mind if I hit her up then?â Nate asked.
Derek glared at Nate, who had a smirk growing on his face every second Derek didnât answer.
âis that a yes?â Nate laughed.
âtouch her and Iâll fucking kill you.â Derek spoke, causing Nate and Sammy to smile and laugh.
âyeah dude...you definitely got it bad for herâ Sammy spoke.
âwhateverâ Derek spoke, not wanting to deal with this anymore.Â
The rest of the time at the studio Derekâs mind was still on you. Did he love you? I mean, heâs never felt how he does about you about anyone else. Heâs actually never felt anything close to how he feels for you about anyone else. Derekâs mind was spinning trying to figure everything out.
---------------------------
You were back at Derekâs place before him, so you essentially started working on dinner. He told you way back when you two first started hanging out so much âyouâre welcome wheneverâ and you tried not to just randomly show up at his place. Youâd let him text you or call you telling you to come over, but a few months later when he gave you your own key you practically came and went as you pleased.
You and Derek didnât really ever talk about what you two were exactly. You didnât see anyone else, and well you and Derek spent a lot of time together so you were 99% sure he wasnât seeing anyone else.
You two had no label, but you didnât mind. He was your man and you were his girl. You had the pet names for one another, and you didnât mind it. Youâve been with him exclusively for about 6 or 7 months now, and you were fine with that. You never talked about how you guys felt, because well...in your opinion you felt that your guysâ actions spoke louder than words anyway.
When Derek got home you of course greeted him.
âhi babeâ you smiled, walking up to him and throwing your arms around him, like usual, and standing on your tip toes to give him a brief little peck, but to your surprise your lips met his cheek instead of his plump lips youâve gotten so used to feeling against your own.
Shrugging it off though, you let your arms fall from him. Youâve always been good at reading people, and it also didnât take a rocket scientist to notice that something was off with Derek.
First he turns his head to avoid your kiss, and he wouldnât even look at you, or talk to you. His response to you was literally a little grumble and him walking away.
âwas everything okay at the studio?â you quiz from the kitchen where you were finishing up dinner, having a clear view of Derek sitting on the couch in the living roomÂ
âyeahâ he spoke shortly.
you had no idea what was wrong with Derek, but you knew something was up. Sure heâs had bad days at the studio and came home and had a bad attitude and he had been pissed, but he never acted like this, he was more quiet then.
âokay...well dinnerâs almost done if you wanna go wash up or anythingâ you spoke, trying not to let Derekâs attitude bother you, but you had to admit his coldness towards you was starting to bother you a bit.
Of course Derek didnât say anything, just got up off the couch and headed towards the bathroom. You didnât even notice him stop halfway down the hallway to glare at you from a distance, a million thoughts running through his head.
---------------------------------
Dinner was quiet and awkward. You had eventually given up even trying to talk to Derek. He was either short or just didnât even reply. And you tried not to let it bother you, you really did, but after nearly and hour and a half of nothing from him but coldness it had started to bother you.
Derek was back on the couch while you were in the kitchen, cleaning up from dinner and putting left overs in containers to put in the fridge, doing the dishes, everything really. You kept looking over at the back of Derekâs head, which now had the gold studio wireless beats you had bought him for his birthday.
You sighed as you continued cleaning the dishes. Your heart ached. You were so into Derek, and of course you heard the stories, knew his reputation, and of course had thousands of girls tweet you hate saying how you werenât good enough for Derek, or how you were ugly and he could do much better. But he always told you to ignore it. Sure no one knew how close you two really were, but pics of the two of you together were always all over snapchat and twitter and ig, just hanging out. But you know how fangirls get.
You started thinking maybe heâs started to listen to his fans. All you knew was that you couldnât stay here. You rather be at home cuddling up on the couch and watching tv than to be here and be ignored.
Once you were finished with the kitchen you headed down to Derekâs room, where the two of you have shared numerous long nights, and you started to gather some of your things that you would need at home, like your charger, straightener, makeup, things like that.
Once you were finished getting your things together, you headed down the hall and towards the door, not uttering a single word to Derek.
-------------------------------
Derek couldnât get out of his own head. All night he was stuck with all these thoughts jumbling his head. He barely said a word all night. He just couldnât get out of his own head.Â
He didnât even realize the body language or signs he was giving off to you all night.
So when you walked through the living room with a bag on your back he sat up a bit more, confused as to what you were doing. It was usual for you to stay over on Wednesday nights, along with Fridays and Saturdays.
âwhat are you doing?â He asked, sliding his headphones off his head, looking at you oddly.
You stopped at the door and looked at him with an expression he wasnât used to seeing.
âgoing homeâ you stated, hand on the doorknob.
âwhy?âÂ
you didnât say anything, just avoided his eyes and shrugged your shoulders.
âstay. pleaseâ Derek spoke.Â
Truth is Derek needed you here. He needed to be around you to figure things out.
âwhy?â you scoffed, surprising Derek with your sudden attitude.
âI need you hereâ he spoke simply.
âyou have a really funny way of showing itâ you snap back, no longer standing at the door but more so behind the couch.
âwhat do you mean? whatâs wrong?â Derek spoke, grabbing your arm and pulling you around the back of the couch to sit by him, not that you put up much of a fight.
âDerek, youâve been cold all night. Youâve barely said 5 words to me, you wonât kiss me, youâve hardly even looked at me.â you admitted shyly.
Derek didnât say anything, zoning out again. He had no idea he was acting like that.
âI...I thought you didnât want me around anymore.â you continued.
Derek still didnât say a word, he instead put his head in his hands, groaning and running his hands through his hair, pulling at the ends.
He didnât know what to do. He didnât want to say âi love youâ because he wasnât entirely sure what âloveâ felt like. He didnât know what it was like to be in love. All he knew was that he wanted you and no one else.
Noticing how upset Derek was about something you reached and placed your hand on his thigh, rubbing it soothingly while asking âD...whatâs been up with you today? you were fine this morning...did something happen at the studio or what?âÂ
Derek couldnât fight the small smile pulling at his lips when he looked at you. You were  so beautiful and so sweet and you were so caring. You made Derek feel like he was loved for more than his follower count and success. You made Derek feel loved for who he really was, not that his fans love for him didnât make him feel good.Â
âcâmon Derek. Talk to me. Please.âÂ
Derek couldnât help it. All his thoughts seemed to become a bit more clear.
âIâm sorryâ he mumbled. playing with your hand in his, not being able to look at your eyes.
âwhy? Whatâs the matter?â you asked, squeezing his hand reassuringly in your small one.
âIâm sorry Iâve been acting weird tonight (y/n). Iâve just...the guys were saying some shit at the studio and I just havenât been able to shake it.â he admitted.
âitâs okay Derek...I just...I care about you so much Derek. Know Iâm always here for you and you know you can talk to me about anything instead of ignoring me or giving me the cold shoulder.â
âI know...itâs just...â he starts and then stops.
âjust what?â you ask, concerned. Youâve never seen him like this...vulnerable.Â
âI think Iâm in love with you (y/n)...and it honestly terrifies me.â he breathes out, eyes locked on the floor.
You didnât know what to say. You were shocked. Youâve never had someone say that to you. Ever.
After a minute of silence Derek slowly turns to look at you, a sad look in his eye.
âare you gonna say anything?â he asks.
You just look in his eyes speechless. still. you couldnât form words even if you wanted too. Your instincts kicked in though when you just smiled and grabbed the collar of his sweatshirt he had on and pulled him towards you, locking your lips with his.
His hands went to your hips as yours went to his cheeks.
Pulling apart you couldnât fight the smile on your face.
âI think Iâm in love with you tooâ you whispered out, Derekâs lips twitching up into a smile as he leaned in again and placed his lips back onto yours.
