the entire Borderlands universe was shaped by some mysterious event called The Corporate Wars but they refuse to tell you even a single detail about it, even in the Lore Book. Meanwhile Overwatch is like the old guys that come into work and tell everyone the same war stories over and over and over

#in my mind they still take place in the same universe btw lmao #hard light became Digistruct technology Moira’s experiments eventually led to Quick-Change Station tech #Russia’s Svyatogor mech suits eventually became Vladof’s Iron Bear units #Ashe’s parents’ munitions company eventually got merged into the Jakobs Corporation #etc etc #so it’s funny to me to believe that every single thing documented about the Omnic Crisis was lost when humanity fucked off-#-to every corner of the universe #the only being who knows about it is Fl4k who is a descendent of omnics and who isn’t telling anyone about the Crisis-#-cuz they dont need that drama in their life
