i hope you all understand that when i talk about certain models being ugly or bad or whatever, it's really small potatoes in the grand scheme of the 3DS being overall a pretty amazing console. the things i'm stating as "issues" are more up to personal taste and your use case!

any 3DS model is going to have it's haters and it's lovers. I also try to be fair in what consoles I HAVE played on VS just handled IRL VS only seen photos of.

For example, I've never seen an n3DS in person and the last time I saw an o3DS was in like 2011 at some random neighbor kid's house. I mostly use my n3DSXL now, but I had some serious play hours on my o3DSXL and my brother's n2DSXL. I also have an o2DS with a cracked screen laying around in a ziplock, but I haven't gotten the chance to play it, just taking it apart.

The reason why I mostly stick to talking about the n3DSXL and o3DSXL is because those are the ones I've personally owned and spent hundreds of hours playing ^-^

#i hope this helps clarify some things #all 3DS models are good and they also all have their own small hardware faults.#cough cough the o2DS only having one screen with a plastic bar covering the middle so if one screen breaks they both break #the o3DS having fake home select and start buttons also irritates me a lot #the o3DSXL's circle pad breaking....#the n3DSXL's peeling and horrible stylus;;;#and the n2DSXL's plastic casing feeling bad #i mean like these are not dealbreakers but all just minor differences in the way the consoles were made #all of them have their own faults and strengths! don't feel pressured into thinking only one model is good LOL they all run 3DS games #and trust me the n3DS's upgrade is not as strong as some people make it out to be
