the important thing about me is most wholesome and lighthearted media makes me feel bad, and/or upset, and/or severely dislocated. but the intense and extreme stories with problematic themes make me a whole lot better, so much more relieved, more comforted, etc. i'm frequently soothed and my spirits are lifted.

#me is mark #there are always exceptions ofc #eg. the fast and the furious 2001 makes me very cozy and alive and reminds me what love is <3 #but that's the general trend #stories where everything is fine and it's happy and nothing bad really happens bear down on me like a terrible dark cloud #happy things don't make me happy #and sad & upsetting things don't primarily depress and upset me #most of them make me feel so good and better #the media diet 90% of the public has sounds scary to me because i'm......... different. unfortunately.#could never be a mainstream audience even if i tried i fear
