Are social deduction games underrated?

I was going to write a post about how underrated social deduction games are... but I'm honestly unsure if they are any more.

I love them with all my heart, the tales you can tell fro times you have played social deduction games are some of my favourite conversation topics. I never used to see much of it (probably because I just watch youtube and barely leave that site for video content).

But... the only social deduction (or at least the vast majority of it there) is just among us. Gameplay, 'among us in real life', modded among us, you probably get the gist. There is some occasional Mafia and Werewolf content but that's few and far between and they aren't the only good social deduction games.

I know there's more of it about now I guess, but I struggle to say it isn't underrated if it's all just among us.
