Hi boss fight anon here again
1: Elesa in phase 4 flies between the trains since she has a flying factory like mech
2: I think Yinu’s boss fight laser bombs are also in the Sayu fight so maybe they have vines?
3: the sound cues for attacks are train station announcements (the next station is etc)
4: Submas do not have their own genre and the ost changes it’s style depending on the district the train is in OR the melody changes and the same genre is played (electro swing or electro jazz)

I do like her laser bombs (but also first phase (kinda. It's like the 2nd part of her piano phase. Bc the 2nd phase is the one w her mom and the rocks and the third is fighting her mom yknow. But anyways the point in the fight where she plays notes very quickly and they target you so you essentially have to roll and double jump dash across so they don't hit + occasionally parry. Yeah I like that part despite her stage being the hardest (for me to s rank in general) )
Sayu also has her like, kinda targeting bombs (where she throws one and it does go off and you just gotta avoid it)
An extra level of 'I hate this gameplay' would just be using the waves from her end sequence boss fight (her fight was the one that originally stumped me bc I has no idea what I had to do and it forced me to watch a video)
And that makes sense! Their all aboard!!!! + next station, last stop, etc would be very good as both voicelines and auditory cues (along with the music. The music being main question w voicelines being secondary. I can say this only bc I beat fjss for a month straight to get s rank on crazy + to get used to the game. So whenever I listen to vs djss (ESPECIALLY the extended rock edm version with the sfx) I can generally hear when I have to dodge, hit, jump, and occasionally parry (i love nsr for its music and the way its so like,, idk how to say it but incredibly necessary for the game to work. Again like a mix between a rhythm game and like idk how to describe it but a 3d fighting game). So them having something similar with both auditory voicelines and music / sfx cues would be perfect.
I'd assume since they were brought up by both nsr and the artists that their stage (while having their personal flair and like, somg) would also have like, references to the other nsrtists (bc again minibosses). Kinda like the end sequence where [SPOILER] you go to each district to give the nsrtists power back and the audio for that where it plays a very like, slow version of each theme (like that in concept just not like,, slow or emotional. Very fast and a bop kinda way).
But going inbetween electroswing and electro jazz between which subway boss you target first (elesa being some sort of pop)
If they ever get to Volo I'd imagine it being kinda like yinu where it is classical (more like, symphonic for him just like his actual theme kinda. But switching to the edm when you fight palkia / dialga. While also like integrating giratina's theme into his own (probably for the edm section). )
