having to buy furniture annoys me so much because everything is basically the same mdf shit all the stores buy from the same places, it's very poor quality and they make monstruous margins on it but we don't have any other choice because the nicer better quality stuff costs even more

#yes i could buy stuff off french craig's list or facebook marketplace but there isn't anything in my area #im not driving 50 km to pick up a coffee table that will only be like 10€ cheaper #“what about thrift stores” we don't all live in the middle of paris or some kind of huge place #where i live #which isn't small or in a desertic area #the few thrift stores only have stuff from people's emptying their dead great aunt's closet #or the very hipster stuff in size 00 #for furniture it'd be antiquaire meaning it's gonna be EXPENSIVE AS FUCK
