really cannot wait for folks to hear the bonus episode of @satelliteinasupernova's podcast where we bitched about riverdale for /checks MP3 file/ almost exactly three hours, though that doesn't count the seven hours after we wrapped up recording where i would shoot straight up in bed and go AND ANOTHER THING I FORGOT TO SAY

#i do want to do a whole thing about how riverdale is ultimately a failure but at the same time #it is extremely good at one thing and one thing only #and that is whitewashing americana #it fails in every respect at being a good story with heart and meat to its characters #but my god it's inadvertently the best possible representation of this decade of US history that could possibly exist #the fact that it's garbage [affectionate] just adds to the nuances y'know??#anyway #raven chats about things #rdale
