i'm a very, very firm believer in hobie having approx. 300 nicknames for miles, and also in his being both a) a sap and b) a nerd, so the classic lit/fairytale-related ones are in regular rotation - e.g. peter pan (usually prefaced by gwendy), bambi, sleeping beauty, red riding/little red (when miles wears sth red/hooded), snow white (say if hobie's trying to goad miles into sth), jack (typically with ref. to himself as the beanstalk), etc
