TotK Plot Twist: When Ganondorf swallows the secret stone and turns into a dragon he just… vibes. Like all the other dragons. Sometimes he tries to dip down too low to settlements and malice poisons the area until Link lands on his head and baps on the nose like NO BAD DEMON DRAGON and then he just goes “ok” and floats to a higher elevation.

He lingers more around the desert than anywhere else, so he doesn’t bump into the other dragons all that much. But eventually the Yiga figure out some kind of way to turn him back and he’s just like “what kind of weird fever dream was that 🤨” when he’s normal again.

I am once again imploring people to stop claiming that the companions and factions needed to be sanded down compared to previous games because otherwise there would have been Discourse. I am imploring you to stop thinking that any world (real or fictional) needs to be smoothed down and made simple to make others comfortable. I am asking you to think about what that implies when the 'softening' relates to things like characters cultural heritage, systematic oppression they've experienced, their trauma or even their anger. Demand better from your stories; do NOT fall into the trap of thinking that fan Discourse and Bad Reactions should be avoided at all costs. This is Not something we want to be encouraging or a direction we want all our mainstream media to head in.

something something alys representing the supernatural vs ser simon representing the natural world. push and pull. something something it's always ser simon waking daemon up from his trips and grounding him in a way...strongs in tune with harrenhal. it's just so interesting that ser simon grounds daemon. from his nightmares, when he sees laena, when alys cured daemon's hand... temptation/magic vs reality ? daemon's uncertainty of his role in the world vs what he actually is? also that now daemon seats among the strongs. like the house, harrenhal, is swallowing him whole. him helping restore it, making himself be part of harrenhal's walls and blood and mortar. putting something of himself in it.

I don't think I'll ever be normal about meeting Inquisitor Ameridan in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC. Especially not as an elf mage.

Here's this guy, and he's just like you! He's an elf, and he's a mage, and he was in love! He was made Inquisitor against his will, and he gave his life to save others, and they thanked him by burying his true identity under a sanitized, fictitious history. His best friend didn't come to his aid, and his best friend's son invaded the Dales and killed his people. His attempts to turn the Inquisition into something good were corrupted and misused to control mages.

And you think: is that what's going to happen to me? Will they forget I'm an elf, a mage, that I'm in love with a man? Will they turn me into a mindless figure of worship like Andraste, and use me for their own ends however suits them? I've given the Inquisition so much, will what is left of me be erased, too?

I'm trying so hard to finish Season 2 of Dungeons and Daddies before I get distracted with a new D20 mini series, currently on ep 41

UPDATE: Less than 24 hours after I wrote this post out, I have finished season 2! Woooo!
