when the taylor swift album 1989 turns 10 i will simply dissolve into ash due to the time passing, hope you can understand
#no you don't understand#it was a crisp october morning#the damn album wouldn't download even though i preordered it on itunes and i was so stressed because we had to be at school early#for a field trip to toronto... i wore a faux leather jacket just to remind you that it was 2014#but i finally got it downloaded and listened to the first few songs for as long as i could then we had to go#walking around downtown toronto with wtyk in your head at fourteen years old..... just think about it#i had no friends and wouldn't have any for a while#so taylor was my friend she kept me company at a time when I needed it more than I ever have and probably ever will#i listened to wildest dreams etc as the sun was setting on the bus trip home and the rest was history#i hung those polaroids on my bedroom wall for years.. i cut my hair into a 1989 lob....#i made my dad drive me to canadian target to get the dlx version.... i made chai tea cookies and celebrated fucking swiftmas...#10 years later i look at that album cover and know that her heart is part of my heart and that they grow together and always will..#that those songs were about her life and now they are indelibly about mine#and that this album is maybe the most important piece of art in my life
