Classic Who is always an experience because sometimes you have a 2-part serial that barely has enough plot to fill half an episode and other times you have a 12-parter that actually manages it

#i have memories of someone else making a post like this #like if you want to learn about pacing watch classic who and make notes #inferno has 7 parts and uses all of those well #the daleks master plan has 12 and if we exclude the Christmas episode in the middle it more or less manages it #the daleks has another 7 parts and could be cut down to maybe 5 but definitely not to 90mins like the colourised version #the two doctors is two parts and will age you approximately 72 years in the process #doctor who
