Went stand-up paddling for the first time today. Of course, it devolved into a race at the very end of the 2 hours. I'm really not all that fast but gave it my all.

Guess who careened into the bottom of the pillar of the viaduct at full speed cos if I was gonna be last at least I was gonna touch it?

Yeah. It must've looked pretty dramatic because a family out in a pedal boat turned around to check if I was okay...

#my friends and I are both the coolest and the worst at things like this #the coolest if your'e with us #the worst if you're not #We're just #pretty obnoxious?#had a 5-board lineup at one point with only the people on the edge paddling #also did a 'parcour' sort of thing where we tried paddling while simultaneously avoiding the low branches by the riverbank #afterward the guy who rented out the boards asked if wesaw any turtles #we unanimously told him we probably scared them off #anyway enough rambling #today was good and I wanted to yell into the void about it #koso out
