Guys. Throw in Uncle Scarecrow as one of Eddie’s friends egging him on and stealing that formula that made him into his monster form from Penguin and have that be a synthetic ectoplasm?

Add that scarecrow is now Danny’s uncle and to a degree danny requires an ecto-variation and a degree of fear (or even have his reaction to fear gas be to get hangry or ‘puddle of goo’).

I know everyone loves Danny with the Sirens (and i do love those, and will ear it up in every form) but if we take Danny’s spectra truama (therapist trauma) and clown trauma from Freak Show the there’s a decent chance Harley Quinn would be a trauma trigger for him.

I propose Danny gets Uncle Ed and Scarecrow to everyone’s confusion.

(please let Fright Knight somehow have partial custody as he isnt trusting mortals with the Heir to the Throne but mever explains why he is bodygaurding Danny besides ‘he is the better candidate’ (for the ghost throne that is split atm between Vlad, Danny, Dan, Ellie (on a ‘mirrorborn = template for five years until stability is proven’ type technicality) as those that have defeated Pariah Dark in ‘one on one combat’… and Vlad shouldn’t count according to Fight Knight but the ghosts are under the impression Vlad and the Phantom Three have a rocky parent-child bond and are not going to force the developmental children onto the throne. Fright Knight is team ‘Realms can handle no king until Danny is done with mortals, no big deal’ and a minority opinion.)

Give Ellie/Danni to Red Hood as one of the meta street kids he keeps an eye on and goes pspspsps at. Ellie is not trusting adults after the Vlad thing and how adults handle homeless kids. Nope. She will take your food and shelter on occasion, but she’s not staying!

Dropkick Jazz to the Sirens. Her idol Harley Quinn is there with her. Selina would absolutely help her learn to be more confident in herself and let others deal with their own consequences and not feel obligated to fix it for them (Eldest Daughter parenting parents and sibs Problem). And later Jazz is learning about bio chem from Poison Ivy and how to make and ethically source various chemicals. Why? Tell me Jazz would not open an apothecary in Gotham and have a side practice as a therapist as it takes time to get certified and she wants to help NOW.

Tell me she would not intimidate Dan into acting as the cashier while she handles the meds, possibly with Sam helping as the plant supplier she uses for a number of ingredients when she later moves to Gotham for college (aesthetics, and goth and ounk scenes there are great.)

If you want add in Sam as a baby eco-terrorist that poison ivy slips ideas too, with Tucker helping her in return for not starting a protest against Meat Itself but animal treatment and gently encouraging her wrath that way and away from his beloved meat industry’s existence. He agrees to let her vet his food sources and handle cooking any meat products in their shared appt in return for her not throwing it out for existing.

Tucker hacks groups for fun, and is probably a Wayne Enterprises intern as a result of Oracle and Red Robin managing to track him… Tim is the one who told Bruce they call dibs on Tucker (mostly knowing him as a hactivist and approving most of what he does.) Tucker is overjoyed and helps with security coding, explains that Amity had the inverse to regular coding and his personal ‘off the books’ coding clearly is doing Something thats a lot harder to track…

Because he uses hieroglyphics as his base coding then the inverse coding with a smidge of magic protection.

Valerie is probably a JL recruit who visits Gotham, sees Danny running around as paradox and just asks Jazz why she hasn’t reigned in Danny yet… only to meet Dan, find out Ellie is STILL refusing standard housing, and Danny at least goes to school, minimizes murder and violence with the rogues he helps (literal contracts) and has Fright Knight guarding him.

Jazz has her limits, and Ellie is Red Hood’s headaches and occasionally Danny’s as he didn’t tell Jazz about her until Jazz caught them hanging out and she asked him if he was using duplicates to try out genders again but messed up this ones age.

Ellie was insulted! Then cackled when she learned Danny forgot to explain the clone thing. Ellie is refusing to be adopted and hates school—online is allowed.

Val just scruffs Ellie in front of Red Hood in her civilian getup and asks her why.

Cue Val vs Red Hood and Crime Alley for Ellie’s custody. Ellie is just a feral stray cat that like certain people, but doesn’t want to Stay.

In the background you see Fright Knight and Danny/Paradox arguing over if they should get involved… Danny just wants ellie safe, but is not sure where Red Hood falls with him as a Rogue’s getaway driver who works with Riddler (new dad for about five years atp) and Uncle Scarecrow (who used to target crime alley a lot… now its more liminals and has gently shooed scarecrow into semi-anti hero tendencies (as he has gone after his students’ abusers when he was a teacher, and could easily be tempted into doing that now and then). Frighty is team ‘Nope. She refused our help before. Natural consequences time.’

Ellie disapproves of this ‘legal guardian’ nonsense.

Jazz just sighs when asked why she isnt throwing her hat in and points to Dan with a simple ‘i’m his Guardian. Danny picked his. Ellie refuses to be forced so she has a room is she wants it, but i know my family does not do ‘listen when force is used’

Alright, since it’s no longer 2 in the morning and my head’s a bit clearer, I present to you:

Liminal Riddler

So, not everyone in the DC fandom knows about this, and I’d bet that even less people in the Phandom do, but at one point, the Riddler had cancer. Had, past-tense, because he cured it. With the Lazarus pits.

And yeah, not everyone who gets dipped in the pits has to be liminal, but one would assume that the sudden replacement of a large number of malignant cells throughout the body is gonna do something.

The Riddler already acts quite a lot like a DP ghost in some interpretations anyways. He’s got a strict gimmick that he genuinely can’t part ways with, he’s campy and fun, he’s incredibly violent, etc.

Also, the way that he would react to this whole thing would be funny as hell.

Do I think the Riddler would really care if the GiW was after him? No. This is Gotham, the government is constantly going after him anyways.

Do I think he would care if Danny was being hunted down by the same people, and his parents were involved? Somewhat. He probably wouldn’t care about Danny specifically, at least not right away, but a young boy running terrified from his own parents would definitely bring back some bad memories, and he would probably give him a hand (if for no other reason than to get back to plotting crimes instead of dealing with childhood trauma).

Do I think the Riddler, whose entire thing is being smarter than everyone else, would care if the GiW somehow let slip that they thought he didn’t have human intelligence? That they believed him to be nothing but an echo of human life?

It’s not even a question. He would be the most insufferable person in Gotham within the hour. Genuinely nothing could stop him, especially not if Danny was helping jailbreak him from Arkham every time he got caught.

Almost every major road is closed. Every warehouse on the Docks is on fire. Somehow, they managed to color the clouds and smog a bright green.

The natives of Gotham would probably get those anti-ghost laws and acts overturned faster than the Justice League, if only to make the Riddler stop. His traps and games aren’t even lethal at this point (due to Danny’s insistence), but they’re so genuinely annoying that the general population is about to beat the GiW agents to death themselves just to get the Riddler to quit it already.

Also, I think that during this whirl of chaos, the Riddler would become quite fond of Danny.

He’s a bright young boy who’s very fond of wordplay, and inventive enough to keep up with him. Aside from the inevitable crisis of “oh god I’m becoming the bat,” he’d probably be happy to take on Danny as his protégé. Even if the boy won’t let him kill anyone (rude), he’s a terrifying getaway driver and can turn the both of them invisible and intangible, making Arkham escapes a breeze.

Hell, the Riddler would probably be willing to make a false identity for the two of them, just so he could get the boy proper schooling.

(Yes, he thinks that the entire education system is a sham and that he could do much better, but Danny wants to go into aerospace engineering, and the Riddler isn’t one to squander someone’s interest in learning.)

I am making this post because I refuse to let them throw around accusations that I'm a predator.

Reasons I believe they are shitty:

I have ADHD, but I'll try not to derail any points.

After not seeing my spouse since Highschool, they invited them to a discord server. I was brought along and given a "+1" role, as in "This person isn't one of us, just @twiranux 's +1. I wouldn't have had a problem with that if it didn't create and "In group" and "out group" where the people in the ingroup treated the +1 role as "not a friend, just a +1."

They have a room for venting in that server, as a lot of people do. I have seen people typing in there on three occasions and decided not to interrupt them for my own needs, however the time I got to start typing in there and posted a couple of messages to indicate I would be typing, someone else came in and made it about them. I doubt they meant harm by that, but I went to @currynahh and explained it hurt to be silenced like that. I wasn't looking for an apology, I was looking for a solution so other people don't get hurt. My proposed suggestion was a second vent room for if there were 2 people needing it at once on that large a server, it would be helpful, or atleast a rule about interrupting vulnerable people. They dismissed this saying "two rooms wouldn't help because what if there were THREE people" which, if there were three people at the same time one would still have to wait, but the line would be split in half and people would be able to use it if it was an emergency and the first space was already taken without interrupting.

When they dismissed this idea, I said (and I dont have the exact quote as I left the channel, something @currynahh is very particular about is exact phrasing.) "If there's no rule against interrupting I guess next time I'm in need to type and someone is already using the safe space, I'll just be That Dickhead[TM] and interrupt? Can't wait." to which they threatened me with a ban, assuming I meant I was going to actively hurt people instead of just pointing out that there being no rule meant ANYONE could be That Dickhead[TM]

I also pointed out the inconsistency of threatening me with a ban for saying I'd do what the other user actually did and cut someone off. (they never spoke to the person who interrupted me about the event, to my knowledge, and I never spoke to them or saw their name) so I referred to them as "the fucker who interrupted me." Not in a mean way, just.. Here people can be called fuckers, like calling kids brats. I apologized once they said they found that rude, but they kept bringing it up saying I was name calling.

This is Hearsay, but apparently they said the person probably interrupted me because of ADHD, they seem a bit too comfortable deciding what is a factor of someone's else disabilities without consulting them.

Them dismissing my problems and threatening me with a ban instead of trying to fix their server made me actually go to name calling, and I still feel it's fair to call them a heartless cunt. Heartless for pretending to care when really they just wanted to defend someone in the in-group, Cunt cause it's a great word and it fits. I know the word Cunt is seen more harshly in some places, again, so much here. They really take offense to regional and class based dialects. They went to a private school and were calling me mean for just calling a dude I had no name for as "a fucker" when to me, someone who's poor and went to public school in a shitty town in Ontario, it's the norm here.

Since they showed they really didn't care I told them they were fake and left their channel, my spouse chose to follow me which I didnt know about at the time.

They DMed my spouse with another person who hasn't spoken to my spouse or I in 6 years to call me toxic, abusive and a predator. My spouse said they wouldn't have that conversation without me, as its childish and unproductive to just talk behind peoples backs. When @currynahh kicked me out of the group chat, refusing to talk like adults, my spouse asked me to log into their account to participate since they didn't want to be cornered by these two people to talk shit about someone they care about.

They call me toxic and abusive because I vaguely know the passwords to @twiranux 's accounts, despite never logging in unless asked to (for example a daily event in a videogame that they won't be able to make in time but wants the rewards.) and because on one occasion while I was napping, my spouse forgot an agreement we made about watching a specific movie together and I was upset about that, as I'm sure most people would be if their partner agreed to not watch something without them. I tried to keep my cool and just stay out of the way of their enjoyment, but my spouse wanted me to join in atleast for the end so I did, still grumpy but trying to make the best of it. If they had waited an hour or chose a different movie, things would've been different but @currynahh doesn't want "excuses."

They call me a predator because the person I'm married to is 2 years younger than me. @twiranux and I have been together almost 9 years now, we started Long Distance Online Dating just playing minecraft, listening to owl city (our song's Honey and The Bee 🐝,) and making Garry's Mod youtube videos. We would've been about 13 and 15 at the time, though it is worth noting that our birthdays were less than a month away from when we started dating so 14 and 16 if you want to make that distinction, I was in class with people the same age as my spouse. They think the age is gross, but we were two neurodivergent kids who were extremely sheltered at the time (helicopter parents/physical disabilities) who could only have freedom online. We had met through liking the same movies and youtubers and knew eachother a year before, while I was asking for advice on asking someone else out, my now spouse confessed attraction to me and I suggested we try "dating" for a bit, which consisted of nothing new except drawing cute pictures and giving eachother nicknames. I dont know if I knew their age at the time, but I did think they were a boy which didn't change anything, just hopefully shows I wasn't some 30 year old neckbeard hunting for kids on the net, I was just a disabled kid who was caught off guard by a confession of attraction and rolled with it.

@currynahh says they have proof that we weren't innocent in highschool, as (they claim) we asked them to write nsfw fanfic about us, which.. we didn't? My spouse has no idea where thats coming from and neither do I so just a blatant lie. Not that it's anyone's business but my spouse and I didnt meet in person for about 4 years and anything physical took place after we were both legal adults, im not comfortable going into more detail.

After my spouse had me log onto their account to show they weren't going to be cornered by those two, I was allowed back into the group chat to try and figure out why they think im problematic, but @currynahh insists im just making excuses when I've just been saying exactly what im saying here. They say I'm sugarcoating it, I disagree. I dont have the exact words I said about everything, but admitting to calling her a Heartless Cunt isn't something I'd do if i were sugarcoating it as she suggests. This is how it played out they keep trying to shove me into this "abuser" box they framed me in without knowing me.

They would repeatedly spew paragraphs of "points" then block me and leave the group chat while I was typing up a response. They don't want excuses (read: explanations) and they don't care about facts (that they misunderstood certain things and was willing to clear up what I meant if they weren't so caught up on semantics.)

I will not go into my partners mental illnesses on this platform, but they have a psychiatrist who I've met and I have to (sometimes in a way that looks controlling to someone who doesn't know the problems) keep my spouse grounded. The Psychiatrist thought I was doing a great job at managing it, but @currynahh disagrees, saying I'm enabling (without even letting us tell them what the problem is or how im helping.)

Which brings us to the next point; they say I can't talk about the mental health of myself or my spouse because it will trigger them, meaning they block any attempt we make at explaining how it works. They treat us as a neurotypical couple and call it abusive when I'm literally just doing what's deemed best by a psychiatrist for my spouse.

For DARING to tell her to stop calling me a predator, she calls me a narcissist, which is just.. Very cool. Love me some armchair diagnosis. They also diagnosed me with anger issues (from one call in which I was grumpy and then me trying to defend myself from these accusations.) So really, I think docs are being paid too much 'cause @currynahh is doing their job for free.

Because they weren't listening to my spouse, my spouse decided to stop typing, especially since she was just going on long rants then leaving the server before we could reply. Whenever @twiranux gets a chance to speak, @currynahh would leave the server claiming it triggers their anxiety to face the consequences of what they said. Then they would tell me to quit speaking over @twiranux when I was just speaking on our behalf, while in a call with @twiranux due to these reasons.

Instead of keeping their nose out of our relationship like we were asking, they kept trying to tell my spouse (who chose to marry me and lives in another country) that im abusive because they think trusting eachother is a sign of abuse.

Instead of listening that we're fine, they throw a tantrum and tell us to go to marriage counseling (which, although I wouldn't be opposed to going, is very telling that they think people can just do things that require money on a whim.)

They say that "instead of saving up to move in together and have kids you should put money towards marriage counseling" which again, what savings do they think I have? My bank account has -$4.00 in it and my spouse can't work right now. We have nothing.

They keep bringing up kids and how would we raise them? Would they not have privacy? Its a stupid point they threw out there as currently there aren't plans to have kids and there's huuuge difference between a married couple knowing eachothers passwords and not letting your kids have privacy.

They keep bringing up the fact that we've lost friends before without knowing why. So if they want to private message me I'd be happy to tell her about how we left our last friend group after a dispute where the other people were claiming the N word was inoffensive. Or the group that actually was trying to get into my spouses pants and we weren't comfortable there. You keep making accusations then refusing to listen to facts.

Idk if I'm missing anything, if they unblock me and see this they will probably say I'm staw-manning again without actually telling me how and while having no counter arguments. They also don't accept my adhd for accidentally derailing, while using theirs to deflect any criticism.

Karina, you don't know us and you say even talking about our mental health will trigger you, so you need to accept that you're unwilling or unable to understand the dynamics of our relationship but just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it's toxic. I wouldn't have made this post if you didn't keep calling me a predator, but I need to clear that accusation publicly before you keep throwing around dangerous labels.

I’ll take this as asking for five facts about five characters bc im currently waiting for all/most of the items to unlock on my current zoo tycoon game and idk what to do to kill the time besides this sO:

Character 1: Skift (bc I dont talk about him enough)

1. Skift is a very ambitious person.  One of the main reasons he enlists in the army in Majjikku is in hopes of some day becoming a war hero.  He’s also easily influenced by other peoples’ approval or disapproval, despite how adamantly he would insist otherwise if you ask him.  Hence why he wants the validation of being a household name and a hero in the history books.

2. The other main reason he enlisted in the army is because he absolutely despises his family.  I’m still working on the kinks of his backstory but the jist of it is that he comes from an extremely large family with a neglectful mother and an absent father.  He and his other siblings around his age were raised by their elder siblings, but Skift had the misfortune of having a personality that completely clashed with theirs and often got in fights with them, that sometimes even turned physical.  As soon as he was old enough to enlist in the army, he left home and headed to the nearest enlisting center (which unfortunately was several days away since they lived in the middle of goddamn nowhere, but he makes at least)

3. Skift has no real education, living in the middle of nowhere and not having anyone to teach him skills.  When he was younger he got along with his siblings better and was able to learn basic math, and of course he can speak fine, but he probably can’t read very well and anything besides basic addition and subtraction is a mystery to him.  Having said that, illiteracy and a general lack of scholarly knowledge, isn’t uncommon on the Parity side, as they have the very minimal requirement of laws and government required to run a government.  (Literally you can kidnap someone and as long as you give them adequate shelter, food, and water, and you dont abuse them or anything, the “police” wont do anything about it)

4. Skift gets a strong rush while in the middle of combat.  Adrenaline does good things to his psyche and as long as he doesn’t suddenly realize that those were real people dying on the battlefield, he’ll be in a good mood for the rest of the day after a Parity victory.  He’s not bloodthirsty, but he does get uncomfortably into it when in the heat of battle, even if he has to watch the person he’s killing die in front of him.

5. Skift in a way is supposed to be a sort of clueless libertarian/anti-ally who isnt a bigot.  Like, think a white person who doesnt believe in systemic racism but wouldn’t discriminate against a person of color because the whole reason they dont believe in systemic racism is because its bad for the economy.  (Which, it is, they’re right about that lmao).  I dont know entirely what I’m planning to do with that concept because I dont know if I, as a very dumb white person, have the ability to play with racism/the concept of colorblindness like that, but I hope I can do SOMETHING with them.  Either I’ll need to educate myself or I’ll just change that trait to being dumb about politics in general, I dunno.  (Because he doesnt really care about the politics of Parity vs Halcyon, he just agrees with the Parity because thats all hes ever known.)

Bonus fact bc I had too many: Skift is pretty heavily inspired by the design of an old warrior cats OC I had named Falconstar/Falcon.  He’s not exactly a dead character (I dont do anything with Warrior Cats anymore but if I did, he’d be on my list of potential characters to reboot, altho i dont know if id have the heart to take him out of the universe/AU he’s from…) but I feel like their personalities are different enough that they wont be mistaken for one another.  Also Skift has a stupid scarf.

Character 2: Phillip (or is it Lenny? Idk I think I changed it to Phillip)

1. Phillip is also from Majjikku, I should mention, but he’s a part of the Halcyon side.  The first thing I should mention is that he’s a prince, and 3rd in line to the Crayking throne - he has an elder brother who joins the army with him, and an elder sister who stays behind to keep the kingdom safe with their aging parents.  I believe they also have a younger sibling or two, but they’re too young to be politically important.  Anyways, its worth mentioning that the only reason Phillip was sent over her sister is because he’s an inadept spoiled brat, and the Halcyon side was asking for at least two members of royalty to join their ranks to form an alliance, so Phillip was sent alongside their actually combatually adept elder son.  The Halcyon sent Phillip to the “less useful” soldier training camps, while his brother was able to ascend straight up in the ranks of the army.  Since arriving in Halcyon territory, Phillip hasn’t seen his brother once.  (It’s worth mentioning as a side note, the Craykings only allied themselves with the Halcyon side to protect their own necks.  They believe the Halcyons have the upper hand in the war, and want to be on the right side of history when the war concludes.  And they dont have the strength to stand up to both sides; the Halcyons have promised to protect their underwater empire from the Parities due to their allyship.

2. As I mentioned, Phillip is an inadept spoiled brat.  Years of coddling in his palace have turned him into a demanding asshole who makes jokes at the expense of others and has overly high expectations from others, despite thinking he himself deserves to sit on his ass all day.  There’s a deep reason for it, as there is for all my characters, but there are so many layers that caused him to act like this that at this point it’s just become his personality.

3. Having said that, Phillip grew up in an environment where acting nice was more important than being nice. ��Who cared what you did behind closed doors, so long as you put on a presentable front?  He’s extremely charming and sociable in big social events, often making on-point jokes and contributing in a seemingly meaningful way.  In fact, he’s arguably even better at it than his two older siblings, since they have opinions of their own and aren’t just a mindless robot for their parents to interject their thoughts and opinions to.  Phillip is very good at regurgitating what he’s been told, and has a very flawed and honestly nonexistent sense of self because he has never had the freedom to make his own opinions.  Or rather, he was told how to act and feel, and he never had the strength that his siblings had to make his own opinions on what was being taught to him.

4. Phillip wears a fancy bowtie and he refuses to take it off for unexplained reasons.  There’s no deep reason to it, I just like bowties.

5. Phillip believes that both of his elder siblings are more adept and intelligent in every aspect.  He respects his parents authority over the kingdom and part of why he acts like a jerk is because he legitimately has no idea what he’s doing and would rather die than inherit the throne.  He knows nothing about politics, despite his entire life being politics (in more ways than one).  The good news is that it seems like if something happened to both his elder siblings and his parents, it would probably go to the next sibling below him, even if they were still under 10 at the time.

Character 3: Glitch

1. Glitch REALLY needs a new name but I’m currently trying to come up with an idea of how Glitch could mean something different in their world (Majjikku, I should clarify), but right now im empty-handed and please help me.

2. Glitch is blind, or at least has significant sight problems.  I think.  I dont know, I really need to develop Glitch more.  Maybe he just needs glasses like I do and without them everything is hella blurry but at least he can get around.

3. Glitch’s species is often used as horses in the Halcyon army due to their obedient nature and high intelligence for a species that generally isnt considered “sentient”/having human intelligence (I know sentient isnt the right word, hence why I clarified).  Glitch’s species does have human-like intelligence and capabilities, having the capability for empathy and compassion and self-realization just as much if not more as other Majjikku species, but they generally lack in vocal and academic intelligence.  Glitch is unusually vocal for his species, a mutation that comes up in packs of the sauropod-like species every now and then.  Because of this and his sight problems, he was put in the same “lesser” squadron as Phillip, instead of the same training the other young from his herd were given.

4. Having said that, “unusually vocal” for his species is still very quiet most of the time.  He has a strong understanding of the words of those around him, stronger than most of the rest of his species (although they can comprehend language, just not as quickly) and can articulate full sentences in a reasonable amount of time, he just prefers not to.  He also can’t go on half-an-hour-long rants about things because he would run out of words and brainpower very quickly, which god I wish that were me because I will talk until my mouth falls off and its 3 am i s2g im not even exaggerating.

5. Glitch has no understanding of the war but as his herd is encouraged to help the war effort, as opposed to being forcibly taken (which was outlawed and deemed unethical when more and more offspring like Glitch started popping up), he supports his side and would gladly die for it.  Also he loves his friends, even Phillip.

Character 4: Aquarius

1. I love Aquarius!!!  Somehow she became my favorite Majjikku character and idk why.  She’s got cool pants, thats probably part of the reason.  Anyways Aquarius is Marble’s best friend in the series; they become fast friends on the train to their squadron when they begin talking about their similar experiences in being dragged away from their families and forcibly enlisted in the army.  (Is it horrible to enlist 13 and 14 year old kids in the army by force?  It absolutely is, that’s the point; I dont take my characters being young teens like most stories abt young teens do, I’m well aware they’re going to be fucked up as fuck and I’m exploiting that for all its worth.)  Aquarius came from a big family of 5 with an absent mother and a nonexistent father, where her elder sister raised herself and then raised her.  Unlike Skift, Aquarius became very close with her eldest sister, although they both share a resentment for their parents because of their shit awful parenting.  Aquarius was forced to join the army because her three younger siblings were too young for the army, and her eldest sister had to stay behind and work a job and care for the younger kids, something Aquarius knew she wouldn’t be able to do.

2. Unlike all the other characters I’ve mentioned so far, and hell probably all the characters in Majjikku in general lol, Aquarius actually supports the Halcyon for what they stand for.  Obviously with her absent mother and father, Aquarius and her siblings needed a lot of financial help.  Thankfully that’s what the Halcyon system was built around, and the government was able to get Aquarius’s eldest sister a stable well-paying job and the entire family enough money to get a decent place and pay for food for a while.  The government still monitors their family regularly to make sure they arent squandering the money and that everything is going okay, but they did far, far more good than harm.  Aquarius believes that this is the best form of government; a form of government that on a very personal level cares for its members and helps them through hardships, and forces them on the right path.  In our world, she’d be a socialist through and through, if not a straight-up communist.  (Having said that, I do believe Aquarius would have different political opinions if she grew up in our world.  The difference between our world governments and the Halcyon government is that the Halcyon government…actually gives a shit about people.  Most of the people who work for the government are volunteers, who at best get a small place to stay and some food.  Like, the Halcyon actually help 99% of the poor population in the Halcyon city.  The amount of financial aid given outside of the city significantly drops, but in their city, being homeless and poor is illegal but instead of throwing you in jail for it they’ll help you get out of it.  If you squander it then you’ll end up in jail, but still.  Idk what Aquarius would believe in differently if she grew up here, but I dont think she’d be a straight-up communist because we have too many failed communist governments in our history.)

3. Aquarius and her family’s coloring is very odd for her species.  The bear-like species that her family is made up of is generally brown, red, yellow, orange, tan, white, gray, black, ect - normal-ish fur colors.  Blue, at least to the extent that Aquarius and her family have is nonexistent.  It is likely that she and her family have a small percentage of an aquatic species’ DNA, such as a crayking, in them.

4. Aquarius loves being supportive of other people and listening to and relating to their struggles.  She’s actually a pretty good motivational speaker and is a pretty great friend.  She’s great and I love her.  Also the pants.

5. Aquarius clashes a lot with Shade, another character in her squadron.  I’m not giving Shade his own section but the reason is that he’s an overly negative character, constantly throwing shade at the Halcyon side and complaining about training.  However, once she realizes the reasons for his dissatisfaction with his current situation, she stops calling him out when he says stuff against the Halcyon side.  She does start to debate her own opinions a bit after that, and has a lot of long conversations with Marble about it in their shared bedroom.  (If anyone’s interested in Shade feel free to send me another star asking about him, or reply to this post or w/e! otherwise ill just keep it a secret lol)

Character 5: Grace

1. Thank god, a character that isn’t Majjikku-related lol.  Anyways Grace is the embodiment of a rebellious teenager.  She doesn’t listen to any authority, goes out of her way to do bad things, and will purposely disobey what you say even if she doesnt want to do the thing she’d have to do by disobeying you.  The whole reason she gets involved in Spirits’ plot is because she knows taking money from a stranger to play with the laws of science and reality would be firmly in her dad’s list of things she can’t do.

2. Speaking of her dad, he’s a little bit of a dick.  He’s the reason she’s so disrespectful towards authority.  He’s basically just a stereotypical religious nut; anti-gay, anti-transgender, anti-atheist, anti-anyone who isnt christian, anti-drugs, and he even enforces some form of gender roles.  And he’s very vocal about these things.  He tries to be a huge helicopter parent, but Grace can and will avoid him, ignore his punishments, and stay out so late that her parents cant yell at her for disobeying them.  Her father is very vocal about his displeasure and downright hatred of Grace sometimes, and ever since she started questioning his words when she was a young girl, he’d yell at her for it.  Her older brother isn’t too great either, but he’s more of an annoying slouch who plays video games all day instead of working than a legitimately bad guy.

3. Grace believes she’s straight because she has no interest in being sexual with a woman, but she’d be totally down with kissing and cuddling and being romantic with a woman, hence why I identify her as a biromantic heterosexual.  She’s also the most sexually active of all my characters, which no I will not elaborate on that, not because I dont feel comfortable with it but because I dont know how the fuck that works.  (Also side note, I headcanon things in my own stories so I like to headcanon that at some point Grace and Shawn get together and they can be all romantic and mushy n stuff together but Shawn’s totally okay with Grace going out for one night stands with guys so long as she stays safe.  Obviously they talk everything out to make sure everyone is safe and okay with the relationship, but Shawn’s pretty okay with it; she’s pretty used to Grace having sex with no romantic attraction involved, and ofc Shawn isn’t into sex so she doesn’t feel like it’s a problem.)

4. Grace is closer with her mother than her father, but although her mother is very much a mediator and acts very kind and forgiving to Grace, Grace still kind of despises her.  Just because Grace’s dad is a dick doesn’t mean she isn’t too.

5. Grace’s spirit form is a bloodthirsty wyvern with major anger problems.  Each of the kids’ spirit forms have a slight personality outside of the kids themselves, and Grace’s is bloodthirsty and destructive - not intelligently so, but still.  Most fo the kids’ spirit forms are pretty mindless and just mindlessly destructive, except two.

It's the sort of thing that can go in a million directions depending on how you want to play it. Personally the way my Argit 10 fics are... I think if the Rooters were still evil the whole mess between them and Argit would be...

The way I write Argit 10 keeps the 'homeless adultless kids trying to get by' aspect of their characters from canon, so there is crime going on amidst the heroing because especially in the early days saving the day doesn't necessarily mean you're going to have food and shelter at the end of it, and between that and, unlike Ben and Gwen, not having a Plumber patron means his relationship with the organization is essentially a mutual 'fuck this person'. Plus I have him traveling a lot trying to evade both the Plumbers and fuckers like Vilgax, so it takes longer for people to realize that all this hero shit is being done by the one person...

If the Rooters are as good as space cops are capable of in his dimension, or if they're a separate thing and good, then in my version I can see the relationship being, tentative maybe? We don't see enough of the Rooters to get an idea of what their goals would be if they weren't working on a child army for nefarious purposes that require removing the galaxy's top hero. Like, outside of that they seem to be mostly research and development? So depending on Argit 10's Kevin it might be more of a 'you work with my Kevin so considered this a mostly friendly relationship' situation?

If they're not then, at least my version wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole because he Does Not Like Plumbers and by the time the Rooters would know what was up would Not Trust People Interested In The Omnitrix.

But that's my version, and shit could change with a million circumstances. How are they going about their plans? How does Argit learn about them? Do they try to recruit him for their side? Do they attack him? Does he catch wind of rumors that are bad enough to get him to investigate? How does he deal with them? Through exposure? Through just going in and ruining their shit?

Just, as you said, we don't get any actual canon for Argit 10 besides that he exists, has a shit ton of gold, revels in it, and is good enough that Paradox thought he might be a good fit for a team of heroes out to save the day. On the one hand it's aggravating because it leaves a million questions without answers, but on the other you can take it in literally any direction depending on how you view Argit, how you view heroism, what your personal headcanons are involving Argit's history- because we somehow know less about Argit's backstory than we do about Kevin's and they threw Kevin's into a fire- and more.

There is so much potential in that dimension and it draws you in like a moth to a flame. A million directions to go, a million possibilities to toy with, and with such little canon that it'd honestly be hard to ruin it in any way that wasn't 'making it boring'.

I still love that Argit 10 was entirely unbothered by the villain side of that two-parter.

Because here's the thing- Paradox takes No-Watch Ben to five dimensions for this 'good guy specific' recruitment drive.

Prime Ben's. He's unquestionably one of the good guys.

Ben 10k's. He's unquestionably one of the good guys.

Gwen 10's. She's unquestionably one of the good guys.

Ben 23's. He was engaging in villainous behavior (and given we know that there were already aliens living peacefully on Earth before the Omnitrix, yeah this kid definitely made their lives that much harder by encouraging violent anti-alien sentiment among the populace and given his 'wait some aliens aren't pure evil?!' reactions he probably attacked at least some innocent fuckers in his time- good intentions doesn't mean good) up until a recent turnaround, and it's shown with the villains trying to force him back into the fold, but now he's one of the good guys.

And Argit 10's. Who was shown Scrooge McDucking it, but with two key features.

Paradox brought them there. Remember, this whole interdimensional trip is specifically stated by Paradox to be to gather up the good Omnitrix Wielders.

There's no sign of the villains. After 23 turned his life around and they still tried to recruit his ass, by force if necessary, there's nothing to suggest Argit has even been bothered.

The first one is important because it sets a very important stage- Paradox considers Argit 10 one of the good guys. Everyone else he brings No-Watch to is either undoubtedly a good guy or has turned themselves around to become a proper good guy. Not neutral, not 'maybe we can bribe him', he specifically says they looking for the good ones, and then brings them there.

The second one is important because after seeing the villains trying to force 23- the only one on Team Good with his own track record- to join their ranks, that leaves only a few options for why Argit wouldn't have been bothered.

Argit is firmly enough on the good side that they didn't bother- a la Gwen 10, 10k, Prime

Argit is iffy but not about to join Team Bad- a la 23- and avoided the 'we don't take no for an answer' fight by quilling a bitch as soon as they didn't take a no

Argit is iffy- a la 23- but the villains also took one look and said 'fuck that', which honestly I doubt because if nothing else you would think since one would probably assume he was highly bribeable at first glance he'd be a prime target to try to get for Team Bad, that'd be an easy recruitment there

So, yeah. Argit 10 can be reasonably assumed to be one of the good guys, or at worst iffy-leaning-towards-good, and may not even have been considered by the villains- unlike our dear 23- though we can't know whether that was due to morality levels or just everybody looking at him and going 'no thank you'.

It's a brief scene, and it's used as a gag, but it really is interesting and opens some potential doors for our rat.

Sure anon! Sorry about the wait for this, I’ve been so busy lmao.

I’m going too have to go off what I remember, I read this fic back in 2015 in about August or September, so a few of the smaller details are kinda fuzzy, but overall I remember the main plot so I can tell you that! The fic is puzzle/blind, because it has Yami/Yugi and Yugi/Atem, with Yami and Atem being two different people in this fic, but its not mobium at all, cause there’s no monarch.

Going under a cut because it ends up kinda long! Hit the Keep Reading if you wanna know about the plot of Gambit!

Gambit follows the events of two warring nations, a republic I believe and an empire. Yami is the minster of defence for the empire and Yugi is one of the top soldiers there who pilots a mecha. Yugi is a little unhinged in his approach to things, and the first part of the story you see Yami and Yugi bickering a lot with Yami trying to get Yugi to go on missions for the empire. Their banter and dialogue is some of the best I’ve ever read.

On the other side of the war is Atem, who is the shining star of the army, just an all round great guy. He ends up fighting Yugi in a mecha battle, and it ends in a draw with them both getting blasted and leaving no real victor. Yugi is super pissed about this, and demands to go back to fight Atem. Yami says no initially, and it ends up with this incredibly well written dirty sex scene with them doing it on Yami’s desk. Fascinating stuff, and honestly it was so good ngl, one of the best ahaha.

Meanwhile the emperor, who is Gozaburo, is an asshole who rocks up to torment Yami with details about the war. He tries to get Yami to sign this form that will take him off something that means he wont have a right to the throne anymore (Yami being Gozaburo’s nephew I believe? They’re related somehow anyways). Yami kinda doesnt want to do this, but Gozaburo leaves him not much choice, and he’s just delaying it a lil. Also during this time Yami and Yugi keep going at it in this really incredible sex buddies relationship, to take out all their pent up anger in and honestly its all written SO freakin well.

Yugi also does go back to fight with Atem, but he ends up in a big rainstorm, and discovers he took shelter in a cave with Atem without realising it, although they both work out who each other is, with Yugi knowing immediately but giving a truce for the sake of shelter, and Atem realising after Yugi tells him. Atem gets a little preachy, he’s a sweetie, asking Yugi why he’s doing all this and what not, trying to get answers as he becomes curious about Yugi’s life.

This person called Heba shows up, looking suspiciously a lot like Yugi but not being Yugi, and Heba is kind of hard to explain, but Yami is the only one who ever sees him, or seems to know about him. Heba warns Yami about Gozaburo trying to off him. Some stuff happens, and Heba actually ends up killing Gozaburo through radiation suffocation I believe? He pretty much just offs him quickly.

Cue Yami taking over the empire and becoming emperor. There’s a temporary truce between them while the rebels hope that the new emperor will agree to a treaty/end the war etc etc. And sometime around here is when everything starts to go to SHIT. For the first time lmao.

Yugi sneaks into the base where Atem is in the rebel stronghold and gets captured. Yami mentions how the war will continue, and the rebels keep Yugi imprisoned for now. I think they planned to execute him if I’m not mistaken. Except Atem gets a little too soft with him and Yugi ends up being able to escape. Poor gullible Atem I love him.

Yugi returns home, and Yami and Yugi still get it on, albiet they end up being a little nicer to each other, and Yami does some stuff to tug at the heartstrings ngl. There r some real cute moments in amongst the angst and mannnnn I love these two. 

Yami kinda starts getting a lot more paranoid about everything, and he gets awful mood swings, sometimes Yugi getting caught in them.

Yugi sneaks into this section of the base thats normally off limits because ppl r going missing and ‘who the fuck is Heba and why does Yami talk about him’ but also Yami’s terrible mood swings courtesy of Heba have Yugi worried about him.

It’s kinda revealed Heba is like the conscious of this old machine thingy, for lack of better wording bear with me, and he sees humans as like insects p much. So he wants to crush them all lmao. He’s been building this massive mecha to wreck everything and boy howdy does he plan to wreck everything.

Yugi confronts Heba, finds out all this shit and manages to escape, where he heads to the rebel country to Atem. He tells Atem all about this, and they get word Heba is on his way with the giant mech.

What happened back at the empire after Yugi ran away was Yami was majorly struggling with everything and he had a confrontation with Heba, who revealed to Yami all the stuff about him wanting to destroy all humans. There’s nothing Yami can do though, because Heba tells him he’s been slowly poisoning Yami with radiation all this time, and its the only reason Yami could see and ‘feel’ Heba so much. I’m pretty sure they were just a series of hallucinations. Heba effectively wipes Yami’s control, and uses his lifeless body to help pilot the mecha. 

Atem and Yugi meanwhile have their own ancient mech I think Yugi stole it from Heba when he escaped I dont 100% remember where their mech came from BUT THEY GOT IT. It requires two ppl to operate and they use it to fight against Heba’s giant mech. During the battle Yami manages to fight back with the last piece of his consciousness to get control of his body back enough to send a video transmission through, and he tells Yugi to blow the thing up, with him along with it.

AND IT’S JUST RLY SAD because Yugi knows he has to do it but then Yami will legit be gone for good, and Yami just smiles at him and I die fam I really do. 

They mouth an ‘I love you’ to each other before Yugi and Atem pull the trigger, and Heba’s mech along with him and Yami are blown sky high.

And then they win, and the war is over woo and my eyes are damp from all the tears I shed. Also without having Yami still alive to preach otherwise, his name was recorded as just another tyrant emperor, and the rebels got the credit for ending the war. 

It gets revealed around the end that Yugi and Atem are from an ancient race that was destroyed by Heba thousands of years ago, but Atem and Yugi were send away in pods to keep them safe. Gozaburo found Yugi’s pod and trained Yugi up to be a weapon in the war with crazy good pilot skills, while Atem was found by some nice farmers in the country and grew up being a nice kid. 

The story ends with this kind of weird thing were Yugi and Atem settle down for a while and Yugi ends up having a kid, which he calls Yami (that part killed me), it ends on a really nice bittersweet tone, which is nice, and I liked the way it ended, although I’m personally not a fan of mpreg, so that was kinda weird for me, but each to their own! Plus it’s the one minor thing in the story that I didnt agree with, and it’s easily shadowed over by how brilliant the entire story was to read, a real ride from start to finish, and gooooooood I just LOVE this fic sobs.

I probably missed a few things, or maybe screwed up the timeline a little, and purposely left out some smaller details if only for the fact I’m so busy I dont have time to give a play-by-play of a 200K fic xD But there you have it! Hopefully this paints part of the magnificence that was the wonderful fic Gambit! My absolute favourite fanfic ever :’’’>

- in the back seat of the car with someone else driving us and there's a friend of mine whom i'm not even very close to is cracking some kind of joke that requires him to be cheek to cheek with me. - You're somehow spinning your head and we're laughing at that. Your lips keep brushing mine but I don't feel or care for it. Eventually, your mouth touches mine and you stop spinning your head. You kiss me instead. - I don't remember feeling a thing. Only that you keep kissing me as a "try out", and I'm just, sure okay why not. I'm glad to teach. Then when i ask you if you're done trying it out, you wipe your mouth and smile and say that you want it to be more than a try out. You continue kissing me. - you're dropped off. My brother says that ok u got a new boy but you need to leave him alone and go off and do something else to make sure the relationship is gonna be real. - my bro puts me back in the car and drives off to a convenience store. The setting's for the convenience store area is like kaikoura, new zealand. Windy as hell. He drives up to the store and we're inside buying milk. Suddenly someone yells to look outside. - outside, in the far away distance beyond the lake, there's a huge ass whirling tornado. It's massive, the circumference is the size of a city, like the one from life is strange. I'm just like holy fuck are we gonna be okay. Someone else in the store replies "it's definitely comin' our way. All we can hope is for that thing to get way smaller before it reaches here." - we pay up for our milk just as the tornado hits the store - or barely hits the store. I notice that it's true, it's a lot smaller by now, and we're lucky that it somehow chooses to only graze around the edges of the store but the destruction it leaves outside the door step is insane. One of the girl says "nope, i have to get out of here." And walks out of the store. I chase after her even though people in the background are yelling about how it's coming back around and get back in. - the girl is running to the town exit, which is some how a giant iron bridge with a huge ass sized door as tall as the bridge. The tornado has gone around the convenience store and is headed towards the door, where we're already half way there. I yell at her that we have to go back - if we go to the giant bridge we're out in the open and it's not safe. She's already opened the huge door and is on the other side. The tornado is behind me. I run up and quickly slam the door shut. - the tornado is right behind the closed door, grinding at fighting against it. She and me aren't safe where we are even though we're on the outside. The tornado is just gonna destroy this door eventually and there's no shelter for us anywhere. - i see the metal bars of the bridge holding and quickly jump around to the edge, tethering between the metal and in front of me, a plunge all the way down into the water. I inch along the edge of the bridge with the girl, passing by the door, passing by the tornado fighting against the door until we reach a slightly bigger platform up ahead, which is basically us being back in town again. - we stand on the platform for awhile, hoping for the tornado to pass. We're somehow only in a black bra and underwear with a white slip on each of us. the girl is frustrated. - she leaves the edge of the bridge, running back onto the road and jumps at the tornado (which is still grinding at the door and blocking the exit) only to be slammed back onto the floor. We do however note that the tornado is much smaller than before. For a split second I imagine also jumping at it and having my leg caught and thrown up into the whirlpool of air. I'm scared. I say we should go back into the convenience store. She agrees. In the back of my head i know I'm late for class. - we run back to the convenience store, which is somehow now a diner that's like crab in the bag with an orange-red set up and a neon sign. We hear the tornado coming around again and i briefly wonder if it follows me around. My brother is sitting there eating crab. I go through a door thats supposed to bring me to the toilet; only to run directly into the tornado. - except that it's fucking small now. The effort from grinding at the huge door on the bridge seems to have made it so small it's only as tall as the diner now. It's so small i am no longer swept up by it. It's so small it's somehow stuck in the corner where there's a door blocking it. It's so small, i see the persona of it stumbling around in the middle of the very-small-tornado. - it's a man in a red shirt with messy blonde hair, and he looks exhausted. I somehow know that the right thing to do is to grab him and kiss him. - not really kiss, more like sucking the air out of him via his mouth. The more i do it the smaller the tornado surrounding him gets. There's a person from inside the diner whooping. It's tiring but i keep working at it until the tornado is no more. - i think the guy dies once i'm finished with that. He falls and faints on the floor. And i'm late for school. - my brother drives me to the room which has wooden boards and strewn with books all over the floor. I grab my school uniform from this shelf and change and head to the next room, where i see some of my friends waiting for a bus. Except the floor is tron-like, i.e. Black with a neon pixel grid on the floor. Adrian is there. - i dont remember the rest, or it ended there.
