Okay I'll start my Vento Aureo rewatch finally (definitely haven't been putting it off)
#rambles#i like it but it's bad#my eternal dilemma#other jojo parts have issues with being poorly written/messy but none are quite like VA imo#vento aureo is just so frustrating because it's like... you can see potential for a good story in it#but it also has core aspects of its plot that is totally broken#so it's simultaneously really easy and really hard to rework it in your mind into something good#like you can see how it could've been good but actually fixing it would mean totally changing it#especially diavolo and doppio. in my opinion they are the biggest example of this#that's probably why both it & diavolo turn in my mind like an eternal washing machine cycle#shoe jojo criticism
