giving my little cousin uni tips like how to save money on food and whether an ensuite is worth the price etc etc but realising too late that she’s rich as hell and has no need to consider these things

#she's the only child of my dad's sister who married a man through a rich man dating agency #my dad's family was not well off and i really can't blame her #for giving her child the best possible life #after what she had growing up #but now my cousin is a proper private school girl with not a monetary care in the world and asking me for university help #as if our situations can be compared #and the things that matter to me will matter to her.#also- i didn't see her for 8 years #until my grandmother's funeral a year ago #we don't talk frequently #i can't say 'youve got a rich dad so do you actually want this kind of advice'#because i barely know her #i'm going to do my mechanics work now shdvchjg #that's easier than whatsapping my cousin #ramblings
