i think that as a young girl yesha liked to wear lots of colors but as she began hunting and then adventuring, it just became more practical to wear darker clothes that can blend into her surroundings or won't stain easily so now she just wears a lot of browns and deep reds and blacks. she's very focused on comfort and flexibility over aesthetic but she likes to maintain a certain silhouette which is why she likes wearing her armored tops with her skirts, or anything that flares out at the hips ( like her dragoon armors! )

#analysis.#re: yesha's wardrobe choices #the glams to me are really important for immersion #there are a lot of glams i would like yesha to wear bc it would look so cute on her #but if it's out of place in the environment or the storyline it also takes me out #of the headspace i need to occupy to be immersed in the game #so yeah #also. yesha has a special fondness for her azure dragoon specific sets #bc they're so beautifully blue!!! in their own unique shades. one of them is like a deep violet #other than that she has her fugue set. i wanna HC that was a family heirloom of sorts #one of the few things she has of her father's and she just kind of tailored it to fit her #that's dyed black now thank u vinny for my soot black dyes!!!#her ishgardian attire is purple... she wears it to see aymeric #i mean what #anyway —
