Tears of the Kingdom actually takes place during the five year hiatus between Dragonball and Dragonball Z, and also during the time Big Boss may or may not be a coma prior to The Phantom Pain. Not Piccolo, Big Boss, and Link hitting the bong for five years straight.

#Whenever there's a hiatus in a game or manga I just say they're smoking cigarettes with Piccolo #but in this case I think a bong would be funnier #Big Boss would puke. absolutely would not be able to handle it #Link would be high af but no one would know because he wouldn't act any more or less strangely #Piccolo would be fine because he's like a plant or whatever. Except he'd be wearing a weed print bomber jacket #also while I was explaining this specific scenario to my boyfriend I mentioned Franklin from the Franklin cartoon #that's dangerous though.
