bwuh. i think the spider was a male wolfspider (thank u to friend who did the initial IDing that i then double-checked so i did not have to look through five billion photos of spiders) which means there are hopefully no hidden egg sacs in this case 🙏

#terrifying though!!!#i got kind of strangely emotionally attached to the spider somehow #was a little sad when i let it go this morning at the other end of the block fhfkdl #very glad i did not know otherwise i wouldn't have been brave enough to catch it fjdkdl #that's crazy whadda hell... wolfspider... me when i catch a wolfspider w an envelope and a small jar ??#and then just. carry the jar around outside for a couple minutes without being terrified. what !!!!#praying i dont come across a female though bc i HAVE seen one before outside a few yrs ago and that was Terrifying #theyre so big !! why do they need to be so huge !!!#i do love that males are smaller than females in most spider species though fjdkdl thats a W for spiders tbh #also just as a disclaimer that ID might be wrong dhdkdl its hard to tell bc i cannot go looking myself #and I did not take a very good picture of it bc i was. afraid. DHFJDKL #i didnt get bit or anything so IDing is not rly necessary though ! its moreso just to ease my curiosity #i like to see what kind of critters i have visiting me and then i like to learn a little abt them #helps ease my fear a little bit and also i just enjoy learning #i may be terrified of spiders but i still think they're fascinating and have a lot of respect for them fjdkdl #pippen needs 2nd breakfast #spiders tw
