Hello! Hope you're having a beautiful day💕 I am trying to write a story on Ratigan x Basil from The Great Mouse Detective and wanted to know how you felt about the ship, also who would move in with who, because it kinda has me stumped:(

Tbh I like the ship from what I've seen in the fandom! I haven't made lots of content myself beacuse even though I like Ratigan and TGMD, I'm not very familiar with it; but if I find a good fic or artwork I enjoy it (mostly if it's lovers to enemies)
And regarding your question: I feel like neither of them has moved on, but showed differently.
-One could say that Basil has moved on but, the whole obsession with capturing Ratigan? The mouse is obsessed and has his mind set on the goal of finishing what they started together for good.
-Ratigan has not moved on and will never move on. He is holding onto that grudge for dear life and being petty and fabulous about it. The only way to escape that rat would be death (which he actually planned soooooo)
btw when you story I would love to see it!
