There seems to be a disconnect when it comes to the whole Daemyra situation and discourse and contemporary versus medieval morals.

Like some of the same people who detest feudal patriarchal society and wholeheartedly support Rhaenyra as Queen, don't see an issue with her having bastard children & premarital sex etc. Are also the ones who see Daemon grooming Rhaenyra and go "but child marriage was acceptable back then", "she was of marrying age" and "it's not grooming, he loves her" etc.

It's obviously only a select few but that's so weird to me. Like screw the patriarchy, yeehaw girlboss, men suck, Criston is an incel etc. But Daemon grooming Rhaenyra is perfectly normal 💀
