okay but. how am I supposed to ever watch another show again? I'll never love a show this much again. I'll never love all the characters in any show this much again. I'll never have an actual breakdown over a show's final episode again. I just want Leverage forever :(

Update (3/15)
I'm never actually going to get a chapter out on time. Lol. I am resigned to the fact that this is my truth.
So, fun stuff these past three weeks.
The next chapter? I hate it. It has been the bane of my existence for several reasons. I've deleted either the whole thing or massive parts of it no less than six times now. I've probably typed and retyped somewhere between 30K words for this one alone. I'm not happy with it at all. I've already put it off for another week, and I still can't get it the way I want. The perfectionist in me is telling me to pound it out until it's acceptable. The person inside who wants to meet my deadlines is screaming at me to just upload it in its current state and change it later.
I'm finishing it, though. Or, as finished as I can get it in an extra day. So, one more day and it'll be out for you guys to view to your hearts' content.
In other news, while battling frustration with the story, I've tried to distract myself from it so that my anger doesn't bleed into my writing. And I've wound up getting back into one of my old favorite chill games: My Time at Portia. I've put somewhere around 500 hours into it, and still love it. Lol. If you like things like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing, you'll probably like Portia, too.
I've started rewatching My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer with my husband. Both of those things are living in my head rents free as well, alongside this fic and my game.
So, now I'm resisting the urge to contribute to a smaller, less-saturated fandom or pairing. Like, there are ten million GojoXReader stories, but what about for Arlo? Or Hawks? Or best boi Rengoku Kyojuro? Arrrggggh! The ADHD beckons, and I must resist its call!
I wish I could pause time so that I can write all the things I want to!
Also, I tried to unwind by watching The Boy and the Heron to celebrate its win at the Oscars. And I feel like I'm being gaslit by the world and anime community as a whole. Because it was… not great. Like, it was a genuinely incohesive and confusing movie? The plot was chaotic and nonsensical? The characters weren't very fleshed out? Character motivations suffered due to poor pacing? Emotional payoff was non-existant? The plot "reveals" weren't satisfying? The worldbuilding was lackluster and simultaneously too involved but not involved enough? There was a crappy third-act villain? The English dub is mid (barring Robert Pattinson, who is stellar, TBH); Why the fuck did Christian Bale decide that a Godfather-esque mafioso accent would be fitting for a WW era Japanese man when nobody else in the movie sounds like that?!
IDK… I went in expecting this to be on the same level as Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, or Spirited Away. And I feel like we got Tales From Earthsea all over again. Except this time, for whatever reason, it won an award and is being praised as Miyazaki's magnum opus?!
I was actually salty for days. Scratch that; I'm still salty.
So... in conclusion, I'm back, bitches. And I'm vibing to the music of my own internal screaming.

Thank you for the tag, @jedidragonwarriorqueen!
Three Ships: Twiyor from Spy x Family, Royai from Fullmetal Alchemist, and Elriel from ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses)
First Ship Ever: I also shipped Percabeth from the moment I read those books. I also remember liking Tohru and Kyo from Fruits Basket, but I can't recall which one came first lol
Last Movie: Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse. I would sell my soul to watch it again for the first time.
Currently Reading: Think of Me by Frances Liardet. A beautifully written story of two lovers trying to find each other throughout WWII and beyond. It makes me laugh and cry all at the same time.
Currently Watching: Pysch :) My husband and I love watching shows together and this is at least the third time I've rewatched the series.
Currently Consuming: Cheese ravioli we made for dinner. Also a couple squares of Ferrero Rocher as I sit down for another writing session.
Currently Craving: Being content with my current job, even though dentistry isn't even close to teaching choir. But I do enjoy helping people and I've learned way more about root canals than I ever wanted to. I'm also getting commissioned more to sing in some local choirs, which I thoroughly enjoy.

- February 16th 2025 -
Think back to yesterday, what were you doing around this time? I was taking an afternoon nap that was supposed to be 45 minutes but ended up being over 6 hours. 🙃
What was the last thing you watched on the TV? Parks and Rec. I've been rewatching the series lately, and I'm logging how many times I laugh per episode and I'm going to make a bar chart in Google Sheets with my data. Lmao.
Do you think pets can get annoying easily? Yeah, potentially. I am easily annoyed by poorly-trained dogs that have bad behaviors like excessive barking, jumping up on people, being neurotic/needy, etc. But, I don't have a dog. I have a bird (and she never annoys me).
Did you know that pickles have no calories? They do have calories. It's just that some companies round down to 0 calories on the label if a serving size has like 5 calories or less.
Do you enjoy family get togethers? Yep! I love my family.
In a group of three, do you often feel like the third wheel? That would depend on who the other two people are.
What color are your pants? Navy blue.
Is there snow on the ground where you are? Yep, it's been snowing nearly all day long.
What is keeping you warm right now? I have the thermostat set to a nice and balmy 72ºF, plus I'm wearing a cozy flannel shirt.
Has anyone bought you a piece of jewelry? Yes.
How far away is your next birthday? A little less than 11 months away.
Do you have plans for that birthday yet? Nope, that's way too far out.
When did you last take a shower? Last night.
Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? No. I've flown over it a few times, but haven't actually been there.
Have you ever flown somewhere alone? Hundreds of times, and quite literally alone (solo flights when I was a pilot). But yeah I've also traveled via airlines alone as well.
Are you more serious or funny? Serious, kind of, but I can definitely be funny when I'm in the right mood/setting.
Is there someone that annoys you but you haven’t told them? There sure is.
When is garbage day in your area? Friday.
Who/What was the last thing to really irritate you? The dull burning ache that I've been getting in my lower right abdomen almost daily for over a week. It only happens for 1-2 hours at a time but it's super annoying. My doctor ordered a CT scan, which I'll have done later this week.
Do you think people either love or hate spongebob? I don't think it's quite that polarizing.
Have you seen that new “Lie To Me” show? Nope, never heard of it.
What is something you’d rather be doing right now? I can't think of anything. I'm quite content right now.
Do you find that people are too hard on you? Sometimes, yes. That's a common experience for anyone who is chronically ill and/or neurodivergent. Some people just don't understand what it's like and don't have empathy.
Do you take surveys often? Not as often these days. Especially now that Bzoink is gone. :( I used to take them almost every day.
Do you tend to slam things around when you’re mad? No, not at all. I have essentially zero temper. Like yeah I get mad at times, but I never lose my cool.
Do you know anyone who hates/dislikes chocolate? Yes, one of my cousins.
Could you vote in this last election? Yep.
Do you have more girl friends or guy friends? I'm so bad at figuring out where the line is between friend and acquaintance. I have one definite friend, who is a man. I'd probably call the others acquaintances, to be honest. Several women, several men.
What is your current mood? Pensive and relaxed.
Is there anything on your mind at the moment? A bunch of different things. Medical stuff, the weather, my bird chirping at me, stuff my husband and I have planned for this next week that he randomly got scheduled off...
Are there any movies out that you’d like to see? Nope.
Have you ever been on a website called Stickam? No.
Have you ever hated yourself? No, I could never hate myself. I have felt strong disappointment in myself, but never hatred.
Are you hungry? A tiny bit. I feel like I'll be ready for lunch soon.
Did your parents ever ground you? Not really. They would take away toys, or put me in time-out, or give me extra chores, but they never used full-on grounding as punishment.
Where was the last place you went out to eat? A local Italian place.
Have you ever felt like you needed a better life than the one you have? Not completely. My life has been good overall. But I have felt like parts of it should be better, mainly regarding my health. That's been the one definite negative in my life.
Do you own an MP3 player of some kind? Yeah, I still have a few of my old iPods.
Do you have a moment in your life you wish you could replay over again? There are many.
Have you ever been in a play? If so, did you like it? Just the class play at the end of kindergarten. I remember not liking it.
What is one musical artist you wish wasn’t making music? There are tons of them.
When was the last time you cleaned something? A few hours ago. I cleaned my bird's water bottle.
Have you ever been so sick you had to be taken to the hospital? Not with a communicable illness like the flu, etc. Just for heart problems.
Do you like your smile? Yeah it's alright.
Do you have someone that you think truly understands you? Yes, my husband. And I feel like he's the only person who 100% understands me.
When was the last time you doubted yourself? I always feel a bit of self-doubt when it comes to my efforts to get my ADHD symptoms better managed.
Is there anything currently bothering you? Yeah, my legs are achy and fidgety because I forgot to take my magnesium last night.
Would you say that you’ve got something ‘special’ about you? Eh sure whatever.
Who was the last person to cheer you up when you were down? My husband.
Are you scared of what you do not know? In general, no. I usually feel curiosity about what I do not know. It's the known things that scare me.
Is there anything in the next six months that you’re looking forward to? Yep. The family reunion in June.
Were you/are you popular in high school? Not really, but I wouldn't say I was unpopular, either.
Do you really care what people think about you? No.
Do you find yourself treating others like you’d want to be treated? Yes, I try.
Are you constantly envious of others? No, jealousy/envy isn't really something I experience very much at all.
Are you more of a whiner with things or a do’er of things? Either. It depends.
List three of your favorite TV shows: The X-Files, Severance, Parks and Rec.
Would your friends say you’re a relaxed person or stressed? The one friend who knows me well would say I'm more relaxed.
What do you find yourself worrying most about these days? Two things: my medical problems, and this country descending into fascism.
Would you say it’s hard to earn your trust? That depends. Can you prove to me that you're trustworthy? Then no, I have no reason to not trust you.

Are you one of those people who like to sleep in on the weekends? My sleep schedule is in no way influenced by what day of the week it is. And unfortunately, it's not that influenced by what time it is, either. I.e. I don't really have a sleep schedule. I think I have a circadian rhythm disorder.
