Twins, Uncle/Nephew, or Something Else?
Why do I still feel like the situation with Sukuna and Yuji hasn’t been clearly explained by Gege? It’s as if the uncle and nephew relationship has been misunderstood or mistranslated (which happens a lot in JJK lately). Some people still believe that Yuji and Sukuna are twins, and some remain skeptical. This leaves many people doubtful and with many unanswered questions (hopefully Gege will soon explain everything in detail so we don’t misunderstand it again):
1. We are talking about twins, not siblings born at different times. Twins are born at the same time and look alike. If Sukuna and Yuji were really twins, Yuji would have to be the same age as Sukuna. This means Yuji is not a 15-year-old boy but actually an old man or an adult like Sukuna. Or conversely, Sukuna would have to be 15 years old like Yuji. The best example is Maki & Mai, same time, same age (clear and simple, nothing else).
2. If Sukuna and Yuji were really twins, why does Yuji have multiple parents? Jin Itadori, Kaori Itadori, DNA scientist + creator Kenjaku, who is also considered both mother and father 😅. Then they would all have to be Sukuna’s parents or relatives too? If Sukuna is really Yuji’s brother, then they have the same parents? (We are talking about twins here).
3. If Sukuna and Yuji were really twins, why does Yuji have multiple siblings like his brother Choso? Then they would all have to be Sukuna’s real siblings or relatives too. If Sukuna is really Yuji’s biological brother, then they share the same siblings?
4. If Sukuna and Yuji are twins, who the hell are their real parents? I mean seriously. Only the parents of these twins. A mother (who gave birth) and a father (the progenitor). Face to face, DNA to DNA, blood to blood, etc. (You’d go crazy thinking about it) xD
5. We finally know that Sukuna confirmed he ate his brother and also did not want to be born as a twin. However, he did not say who his brother is or how it happened. He only mentioned something about the soul, so this could imply a connection to the soul or that someone has the same soul as his brother. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Yuji or Jin Itadori. It could also be someone else who simply has a spiritual connection to the entire Itadori family, possibly passed down from generation to generation.
6. Or Kenjaku actually played around with all the DNA & soul of Sukuna’s twin brother and manipulated it without permission, creating new disasters for the whole family. (Family drama) would actually be the simplest explanation!
It looks like a flashback of Sukuna will appear soon. We are getting closer to the truth. I hope we finally find out what happened in this family?
I once wrote something similar about the skeptical twin theory:

Hey Bibi! 👋
What do you think of the revelation of Jin Itadori and Sukuna being Twins / Jin being Sukuna's reincarnated Twin?
Personally, while it doesn't infuriate me like some other creative choices, I do think it a waste.
Jin Itadori is a nothing character. All we know about him is that he couldn't accept his wife's death which allowed Kenjaku to successfully pretend to be her and to have Yuuji.
Sukuna gives no care to him.
Contrast this with Yuuji.
All the artwork Gege was doing seemed to foreshadow Yuuji and Sukuna being twins.
Sukuna hates Yuuji's guts and takes special care to degrade him, which is rare for him since he generally either doesn't care for his oponents or respects them.
He also doesn't call Yuuji his name instead opting for "Brat."
I had believed there was a deeper meaning for this, such as Sukuna previously having had a twin who he magically sacrificed / cannibalised (purposefully using Dark Jujutsu- none of this baby!Sukuna eating him inside the Womb stuff) for greater physical strength and power.
This would explain the great physical strength, two pairs of arms, two 'seemingly' innate techniques that he has to use at different times (Fire* and Cleave/Dismantle), as well as two pairs of eyes. It would also add a layer of irony in Yuuji being made to eat Sukuna's twenty fingers for greater power.
So making Jin someone as important as "Sukuna's Twin" when we know nothing about him is a waste. IMO.
* - I think Gege said that Yuuji also wanted to be firefighter if he weren't a Jujutsu sorcerer so that would add a level of irony if his original self had the innate technique of fire before Sukuna ate him.
Hi @doodlegirl1998 👋
Personally, I have mixed opinions on this topic. On one hand I do like that Jin itadori is sukunas twin because it basically displays their differences to an exaggerated degree. Jin itadori for what we know was fully head over heels for kaori and wanted to bring life into the world (by having a family). Jin also seemed to be quite distant when it came to Jujutsu society even though his wife kaori was from the kamo clan and had a space type CT. Jin isn't presented as an important figure which contrast with sukuna. Jins initial characteristics from what we know are also the opposite to sukuna.
In all honesty Iam much more interested in what truly happend to kaori then Jin. If gege really wanted to build up the Jin as sukunas twin then we should of gotten more foreshadowing (just sneak peaks really) and involvement but the lack of said thing could also be a contrast in a way.
I guess Iam quite bias here because I find the nephew and uncle dynamic between sukuna and yuji much more interesting than a twin type dynamic.
There's also the fact that twins are seen as one in the same in jjk. So this makes the dynamic even more interesting as sukuna can legit be seen as yujis father however, I do see your point and the fact that its more appealing having the two as twins instead.
Like you mentioned in this ask sukuna and yuji have their vast differences that are connected with similarities. A beautifully written dynamic by gege (later execution is lacking) the amount of irony sprinkled in is also interesting. If those two were twins it would also add more Parallels with yuji and maki (something I really like). Heck sukuna being a twin adds parallels and I like it.
Tldr: Iam bais and kind of like both ideas! I think the current situation brings an interesting dynamic but the cliche twins idea could of also been executed well and spiced up by gege
#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#jjk rambles#jjk rant#jjk ramblings#jjk critical#jjk contrasts#i kind of like the idea of yuji and sukuna being nephews mkre just because its funnier#thanks for the ask!#thanks for the question#thank you for the ask#jujutsu kaisen manga

The Karate Kid Part II (1986)
The Karate Kid Part II has just enough scenes to make it a good movie but it’s a disappointment and a major step down from the original film. Unless the latter chapters turn out to be amazing, this is the kind of sequel that belongs in a box set. You would never go out of your way to add it to your shelf but if you just happened to obtain it, you're not sorry.
Six months after the events of the first film, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Ali have broken up, and the karate champ is living with Miyagi (Noriyuki “Pat” Morita) while his mother works in Fresno. When Miyagi learns his father is dying, he and Daniel travel to Okinawa Island. There, Miyagi is forced to confront Yukie (Nobu McCarthy) the woman he loved but was forced to leave behind, and his vengeful old rival, Sato (Danny Kamekona).
So much of what made the 1984 film succesful was the budding romance between Daniel and Ali. To see their relationship tossed away in the first scenes of this sequel is frustrating. It doesn’t feel like an organic development at all, more of a “the actress didn’t want to come back again” hole Robert Mark Kamen had to write himself out of. The void does give Daniel the opportunity to get close to a Japanese girl named Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) - a relationship that parallels the one between Miyagi and Yukie - but it feels rushed. By the time they’re announcing their love for each other, you want to tell them to slow down and quit exaggerating. I mean what’s Daniel going to do? Move to Japan so they can be together?
The best scenes in Part II center around Miyagi and Daniel. Their relationship has evolved since we last saw them. Daniel trusts his mentor - though not completely, as the man is full of wisdom but devilish tricks as well and sometimes, his advice doesn’t seem to make sense. Their time together means they’ve moved on to a point where both can learn from each other. As a pair, the actors are so good and it’s a delight to see Morita in this role again. He’s a great actor, and Miyagi is a great character.
But you probably didn’t come to see a Karate Kid movie for the tender stuff. You want to know about the bad guys and the action. On the upside, this film successfully raises the stakes. Daniel isn’t fighting in a tournament where three hits means victory. He’s going up against Sato’s nephew, Chozen (Yuji Okumoto), a vicious bully who delights in abusing anyone who’s afraid of his uncle - which is basically everyone. You love to hate him (maybe not quite as much as John Kreese or Johnny, who make brief appearances at the beginning of the film) but he also has the worst scene in the entire film and it comes right at the end, single-handedly dropping this movie down at least a half star, maybe even more.
Consistently, The Karate Kid Part II is almost there but not quite. A lot of it feels a little too convenient, or manufactured. As you’re about to write it off, it’ll have a great scene between Daniel and Kumiko, or between Daniel and Miyagi, an unexpected moment of depth, or a pleasant snapshot of Japanese culture. I appreciate the way it shows that anyone - regardless of where they came from or studied - can abuse martial arts, and instead suggests that it’s those with truly “empty hands” who will learn to appreciate the strength and wisdom it provides… but I also question the reason why this movie was made.
Overall, I’ve decided to give The Karate Kid Part II a mild recommendation. It has some laughs and memorable scenes. It’s a treat to see (most) of the characters one more time and you'll appreciate the heightened stakes. The good outweighs the disappointing ending, rushed love plot and lesser story. (On DVD September 24, 2021)

for the love of sukuna itadori.
sukuna x fem.reader
no curses au | itadori twins au | unedited
thinking about yuji's twin brother sukuna and how the moment he first laid eyes on you, began his relentless teasing and tormenting.
you are five years old, with your hair tied up into pigtails so as to give off an innocent appearance when you meet your next door neighbors for the first time. being dubbed as cute for most of your life, you saw no harm in your mother dressing you up in your favorite dress and pigtails, happily following her towards the house next to yours.
"mommy has to work for a bit, and the nice man with his two young boys agreed to play with you until mommy gets home. you behave now, okay?"
okay mommy, was your simple reply as you held on to your mother's hand with tiny fists. because truly, what would you know at such a young age of five than to follow your mother's words?
how could you have possibly known that this very moment was when your life would change for the worst?
your mother gives three firm knocks against the door and within just a few minutes, it opens.
a man around your mother's age was revealed. he had hair the color of strawberry cotton candy and a smile that appeared to be just as sweet. he says a few words to your mother before coming back down on his knees to match with your height.
"hello pretty girl, my name is jin, but you can call me uncle jin since i'll be watching over you while your mommy works from now on. i've got two boys that are just your age as well, so i'm sure you'll have fun playing together with them."
you give him a shy nod and tell him thank you, just like how your mother taught you just hours before you came here. she gives you one last sweet smile before kneeling down to press a kiss against your hair. "i'll be back soon, you just have fun playing with uncle jin and his boys."
what seemed like mere seconds had passed when you were suddenly left alone in the itadori household. two figures catch your attention, and you look toward the stairs to see two little boys with different expressions on them.
they both had matching strawberry cotton candy hair, but one had a much kinder face than the other. he looked like a newborn puppy, keeping his melted chocolate eyes on you and asking you in a shy voice whether you were a new friend.
on the other hand, the other boy shared his face but not his kindness. he appeared cranky and upset, pouting at you while stomping down the steps to meet you.
"ah, s-sukuna! don't be mean!"
"shut up yuu, it's our house and i'm gonna set some rules!"
despite him being relatively the same size as you, you couldn't help but feel the way that sukuna boy was towering over you with a scowl on his face. "just cause papa and yuu think that you're cute means nothin' to me! you're not gonna play with my toys ever!"
it's then that the boy proceeds to tug at your pigtails, making you cry out as the pretty elastics that your mom had so prettily decorated against your hair was ripped from you. the pain felt against your scalp turns you into a bawling mess, catching uncle jin's attention from the kitchen as he immediately goes to comfort you.
"sukuna, that was very awful of you! today you'll have no snacks until you properly apologize to her!"
"whatever, i don't need snacks!" sukuna was still fuming when he went up the stairs and back to his room, slamming the door for extra dramatics while you were left sobbing in his father's arms with yuu comforting you.
jin apologizes for his eldest son's behavior, dubbing him as the more 'spoiled twins' between the two brothers. however, he tells you that yuji is much kinder and would be more than willing to share his toys with you.
and lucky for you, there was an absolute truth in that statement.
for the next several hours, you played with yuji, nearly forgetting all about sukuna and how mean he was. jin mentions something about giving sukuna some snacks anyways, since he had been in his room this whole time and might be hungry.
it was true that jin itadori was a kind father, that maybe you thought that sukuna never deserved such kindness-
however, in due time, you'll come to realize how complex sukuna could truly be, and that at the root of it all, he was just a dumb kid that didn't know how to deal with how he felt.
later that day, you recall having the urge to use the bathroom, the copious amounts of strawberry milk that you drank becoming near impossible to hold back. it got so bad that jin had to carry you to the bathroom, closing the door to help keep your privacy as you relieved yourself.
the feeling of relief was intense as you washed your hands, counting to thirty to the best of your abilities as you skipped a few numbers all while lathering the soap between your sticky hands. when you were satisfied with washing your hands, you give your reflection in the mirror a happy nod before drying your hands on a towel.
when you open the door, only to feel puzzled by the sight of your favorite treats settled in front of you.
on the wooden floors were two packets of your favorite fruit gummies with a carton of strawberry milk along with one of your elastics your mom had used to tie your hair.
using the elastic to tie your hair into an uneven ponytail, you gather the snacks with plans to share them with yuji. despite knowing it was probably sukuna who had given you his snacks and your elastic back as some sort of apology, you weren't quite brave enough to face him again.
when you came home that night, your mother asked you what happened to the other band that held up your hair in such cute little pigtails.
you lie and tell her you lost it while playing.
twin brother sukuna who loves spending his free time taking up your every thought and interrupting your playtime with yuji.
you're now eight years old, playing on the hot streets of your neighborhood with an array of colorful chalks surrounding you.
you were both giggling, with yuji doing a poor rendition of a tiger with his uneven orange lines and jagged black stripes. meanwhile, you were attempting to draw and color in rainbows for your butterfly, your brows knitted together in intense concentration as you lined the chalks together.
to your horror, you watch as a chalk rolls away from you, yellow in shade, and the one you needed the most at the moment. you reach out to it, only for it to be stopped by the tip of someone's sneakers.
your eyes trail up from the shoes, only to be met with sukuna's signature smirk. you stand back to your full height, but knew that sukuna still stands taller than you by at least a full head.
"can i have that back?"
his smirk widens, holding your chalk above your head, "dad always said it's rude not to say please."
his words make a surge of annoyance go through you, the urge to say some un-ladylike words to him was strong-
but your mom taught you better than that.
"can i have it back, please?"
"hm, no, i don't think so, how about-"
before sukuna could no doubt make another outrageous demand, yuji saves the day by sneaking up behind his brother and taking the chalk back himself. "see, this is why she doesn't wanna play with you, because you're such a jerk all the time."
when yuji gives you your chalk, both brothers were glaring at each other. it seemed obvious that sukuna was upset, but really, you didn't know why.
you didn't share that much in common with sukuna anyways, and you were sure he had better things to do than to draw animals with chalk. despite being the older twin, sukuna displayed interests that were vastly different from yuji. from playing video games to trying out different sports with the other kids, sukuna was clearly the more outspoken twin.
you hear him click his tongue, turning away from you and yuji with a grunt, but something manages to catch your eye just moments before sukuna ran off.
on his right wrist, you could have sworn he was wearing the same elastic that held up your hair during your first meeting with the itadori twins three years ago.
twin brother sukuna who shows his kindness in strange, roundabout ways.
you are now fifteen and old enough to know how much your mother struggles raising you as a single mother, which explains why your youngest memories were so intertwined with the itadori household.
your father was still kept as a tight lipped secret from you. every time you mention the man that had fathered you, a look of pain flashes across your mother's eyes, and all she can tell you is that he was long gone now.
this week would be a long one, since your mother's promotion now had her working oversees for days on end. but there was something particularly lonely about missing your mother for one whole week.
the forecast called for dark clouds and loud thunderstorms. despite how yuji promised to keep you safe from the ripples of lightning and the deep cracks of thunder, you still didn't feel safe enough.
as you both got ready for bed, with your usual blankets spread on the floor of yuji's bedroom, you held in your arms your favorite bunny plush you had since you were three years old.
it was worn, with its stitching becoming frayed at the ends and its fur losing the color of pastel blue, but it still carried a familiar scent-
the scent of your mother and home. only when you missed your mom and felt a desperation to be in her arms did you bring your favorite plush. with your nose buried within the soft plush and your eyes feeling heavier with sleep did you finally succumb to your dreams.
a loud crash was what ultimately awakens you, and you found yourself sweating on the floor with the blankets twisted around your ankles. it takes you a few minutes to comprehend that you were in yuji's room, with his snores serving as the perfect evidence of you not being alone-
so why were you suddenly hit with feelings of terror that you couldn't sleep?
your eyes adjust to the darkness, and you realized that something immensely important to you was missing.
your precious bunny.
knowing who the culprit was, you carefully stand from the floor, tiptoeing your way out of the room so as to not awaken yuji as you made your way to sukuna.
and what a bastard he was for stealing something so precious from you like that? surely he knew of how important it was to you, and had the audacity to take it away from you?
you weren't going to stand for this any longer.
you stand in front of his door and harshly knocked against his door, not caring if the sound woke him up. some groans were heard on the other side before the door was flung open, revealing sukuna dressed in nothing but a pair of boxers.
you refused to allow your eyes the pleasure of looking at him, the way he spent a few years playing various sports that had him discipline his body and turn it into the magnificent figure that stood before you. not daring to look at him, you simply turn your face away and held out your hand to him. "give him back."
"don't know what you're talkin' about, princess."
it seemed that he was mocking you, but you were too exhausted to take the bait. "please, i'm begging you, just give him back and-"
another sound of booming thunder crackling within the skies makes you jump, landing yourself in the very arms of the boy you had convinced yourself you hated simply because of how much joy he took in tormenting you.
yet when you land against his bare chest, you didn't hear any mocking words or the sounds of his laughter. instead, he shocks you by wrapping his arms around you, bringing you closer to him while telling you "you really think that pathetic plushie can protect you better than i can?"
his words leave you speechless as you were silently brought into his bedroom. not even missing a beat, he picks you up and carries you to his bed, laying down all while keeping you pressed against his chest.
not even the sounds of his heartbeat could calm the rushing of blood against your ears. you were pressed so intimately close to sukuna that it was getting harder for you to breathe.
his scent surrounds you, nearly choking you as your palpitations seemed to speed up at the realization that this was real-
that sukuna itadori was truly holding and comforting you like a lover would.
your face was burning with embarrassment, and you let your hands curl against the hard wall of muscle that made up his chest, earning a scowl from his handsome face.
"this...i- i thought you hated me, sukuna."
he says nothing, simply twisting his hand around your strand of hair before gently forcing you back into him. "dad always said hate and love were two sides of the same coin."
lightning flashes through the room, and you desperately wanted to see sukuna's face. however, when you tried to pull away once more, the sheer strength of his arms stops you.
"don't look at me right now, i look stupid. there's this heat against my cheeks that won't go away, and i fucking hate it."
his gruff admission makes you smile into his skin. sukuna feels the sensation of your smile and traps you in an even deeper tangle of limbs when he wraps his legs around you.
"sleep. no one else can keep you safer than i can."
with those last words, you find yourself swaying a bit in his arms. you yawn one last time, suddenly not minding the storm as you fell into what had to be the most comfortable sleep you had in a long time.
twin brother sukuna who only showed you his true emotions when you were both much older.
you are now twenty-two years old, getting ready for your dinner date with sukuna.
he tells you to wear that one dress that accentuated your form to perfection and drove him wild, promising that this dinner was something special. you think nothing of it though, merely thinking of it as a means to celebrate his promotion at his more than well paid job.
there was something beautiful being together with a man you had known your whole life. as you and sukuna spent the following years growing closer, you were met with yuji's and jin's knowing smiles.
they had known all along that sukuna had felt some type of way with you, hence why they never questioned why he never took off your old scrungie on his right wrist or why he had hidden your plushie in hopes of getting closer to you.
he was just stupidly in love with you and didn't know how to handle it.
just thinking back on it now makes you giggle, the lovely sound so melodious that it took sukuna out of the bathroom where he spent some time getting ready for your date.
his shirt was still unbuttoned as he looked over at you, "what's so funny?"
you briefly look behind before standing, smoothing back your dress while giving him a soft smile, "i was just reminiscing on all the times you teased me and thought about how far we came."
he remains silent, expression unreadable as some emotion makes his gaze soften just the tiniest bit. he walks toward you until he was close enough to touch you, reaching out a hand to gently caress at your bottom lip. "and do you regret it?"
you lean into his touch with your eyes closed, humming a bit before taking a hold of his hand to press a kiss against the palm of it. opening your eyes, you see sukuna's devastatingly handsome face looking down at you expectantly and smile,
"of course i don't regret it, my love."
sukuna sharply inhales, letting out a soft curse before getting down on one knee. your eyes widen at the sudden change in stance, and you felt them quickly fill with tears when he brings out a tiny velvet box from the confines of his pants.
"i wanted to wait and propose to you after dinner, but fuck it, i can't wait another minute. i need to be your husband, so please, marry me." his voice was rough, and the way he was looking up at you like you were the sole reason the sun came up every morning-
you said yes to his proposal, becoming teary eyed when he stands back to his full height and places the gorgeous ring on your left ring finger. he says your name with a reverence that made your whole body shiver, capturing your lips in a bruising kiss when his hands suddenly worked on sliding the zipper of your dress down.
"forget about the restaurant. i have a new way of celebrating our engagement." he states while placing his knee between your legs.
you were given little choice but to accept his promise of pleasure as you eagerly welcomed him with open arms, forever tying yourself to the man you had grown to love.

So for the request, I know that he is a curse and they are supposed to be bad but I swear Choso is a sweetheart and I'd die for him. He deserves to be loved and taken care of. Soo Can I have a drabble with him, his wife reader and maybe a lil son/daughter? Some domestic shit, like uhh brushing and braiding each other's hair, cooking, cuddling etc.
This all cane to my mind after this:
ANYWAYS I'D DO ANYTHING FOR HIM UWUU🥺
hana
part 3 of ? husband choso series uGH SOFT CHOSO AND LITTLE BROTHER YUJI jkfwrhfkbf anyway here's some soft husband choso with a kid I HOPE THIS IS ENOUGH DOMESTIC CHOSO FOR YOU also beware at the ending, slightly suggestive because it's me, i like smut LOL anyway ENJOY!!
it started with two faint lines on the night of her graduation.
he was still in her robe and mortarboard, flipping the tiny tassel front and back amusingly. they came home from a night of celebrating but despite holding a master’s degree in one hand and another around his bicep, she was upset. knowing his wife well, he decided to not bring it up until they were home, trying his best to cheer her up before offering to drive her home and called it a night after 2 hours into the party.
she wasn’t the only one with a piece of paper to flex; choso now has a driving license.
she kicked her heels off and immediately disappeared into the bathroom, slamming it shut. folding the robe gently on the chair along with the cap, he put the electric kettle on and pulled out two cups with the intent to make sure that she'll have a cup of warm calming tea ready to sober up. his fingers tapped the marble countertop, wondering if he should go and knock on the door. he closed his eyes, resting his forehead against the cupboard. his mind roamed around, the sound of the kettle hissing was loud, but his mind snapped when he heard his name.
“choso,” she called out.
he turned around instantly. his wife held up a stick, where there was two faint red lines in the small window. choso’s face scrunched in confusion. “what does that mean? are you having a fever?” he asked, which she laughed with tears streaming down her face. he was immediately by her side, concerned by her sudden outburst of emotions, pulling her in his arms and asking if she was alright. she couldn’t help but to laugh even louder when she heard him talking about how weird this thermometer is and how does one read it. she cupped his face and focused him to her.
his eyes widened as her lips moved; “i’m pregnant.”
“what?”
“my friend told me i look bloated. asked me if i was finally letting it go, and not care about my weight anymore and asked what did i eat to gain a lot of fat since she wanted to do the same. and then another asked me if i was pregnant. so yeah, i figured why not and hey, look,” she took his hand and rested gently on her belly, “so now, i have little human in me.”
and that was 5 years ago.
she couldn’t help to smile as she watched the little pitter patter of their tiny human, screaming as she ran around the sofa, with a clearly exhausted but still giggling choso on her trails. “she doesn’t want to wear her pants,” he whined, pouting at the mom before returning to the tiny human, “baby, come on. please put on your pants.” like she had understood his every word, the toddler shook her head, giggling with drools down her face.
hana is the name given to their firstborn.
she’s mixed of them; locks of black hair that was always up in two tiny buns like her father and her mother’s beautiful eyes. she hadn’t shown any possibility of carrying his cursed gene, something they both had been so grateful enough when they first confirmed their pregnancy, but that doesn’t stop the child from possibly continuing her family line of sorcerer. something they’ve been keeping their eyes out ever since she’d turn 3.
“you need help, choso?”
“no, no, i got this. just, give me a minute and i’ll give you your child with perfectly worn pants.”
the child shrieked as the father got closer and ran straight into the protective arm of the mother. “got em!” she held the child up to the father. "nooo," hana cried when she realised her mistake. she pouted, willingly letting her father put the pants over her diaper. finally, choso sighed mentally.
“dada,” she called out, holding her hands out to choso. “yeah, yeah, come here,” he smiled, happily taking his little bundle of joy, gently tugging on her tiny nose, “hana, why is it so hard for me to catch you huh?” he complained to the little one and the wife returned to the stove, ears couldn’t help but to listen to them.
every time choso talks, she would listen attentively before reply with gibberish of english and japanese which her father would’ve thrown his hand up and be like exactly! see only you would understand me, child, and she’ll nod with a laugh, as if she understands everything.
their house has been everything but quiet ever since she came into their life.
she didn’t understand his obsession with the name hana and why she had agreed on it. possibly because they didn’t even pick any names yet at all up to the night where her water broke. they didn’t even know what the gender was; something they had agreed on to wait until the birth. so, at that point, she was willing to agree with anything if it meant choso would’ve shut up. “it has a lot of meaning, look!” he held the ipad to her face as she was easing into her fifth contraction of the night. “choso,” she let out a weak cry, “will you shut up if i say yes?” he laughed, nodding before bringing his hand up to his lips, planting kisses after kisses.
when the last push birthed her a daughter and the doctor placed the bloody crying baby in her arms, from the sparse black locks and the hopeful eyes of it, she just knew that hana is the perfect name for it. her tiny smile alone was enough to cure her exhaustion away from the 20 hours of labour .
without her, there isn't any point of life for both of them.
a pair of arms around her waist pulled her back to reality; she felt heads resting on both of her shoulders. “is dinner ready? you need help, mama?” he asked, pressing a kiss on her cheek; something hana instantly picked up and followed. the mother giggled at the feeling of their wet lips against her cheeks, “almost. would you mind airing her rice out? i don’t want it to be too hot for her.”
“yes, mother,” he teased leaving the wife alone with the child in his left arm.
choso has been the better parent than her; understandably due to her busy schedule despite her being hana’s favourite. she couldn’t remember any time where she woke up to a crying hana and choso didn’t shoot out of the bed instantly, feet running towards their daughter’s crib. “i got it, don’t worry. sleep, you have work tomorrow,” he shooed her away, rubbing the child’s back with his huge hand, whispering dada’s here. something unspoken between them was that he gets hana for the weekdays, and she gets hana for the weekend.
“anyway,” her train of thoughts halted, “her uncle yuji agreed to take hana in for the weekend. don’t worry, kugisaki is going to be there, so hana should be fine.” she smiled as he pressed a kiss on her cheeks, marching towards the dinner table. hana’s ears perked up at the mention of yuji, her favourite uncle and she squealed, calling out for choso’s little brother’s name excitedly. “yayy, uuji, uuji!” he placed her in the baby seat, tightening the seatbelt before handling her a piece of cut off fruit which she eagerly sucked on.
he was back, latching desperately onto her. “finally, a weekend just the two of us,” he sighed against her ear; his chest rested against her back. away from her daughter’s line of view, he planted a kiss on her neck while his free hand roamed under her shirt. a little oh came out of his lips as he realised she was completely bare underneath the thin shirt.
her chest fluttered at the way he looked at her; she could see a hint of lust in his dark eyes and his smile carried a different meaning. her cheeks instantly flushed, and she found herself clenching on nothingness.
weekend could not reach fast enough.

pronouns: she/her
scene: before yuji’s appearance in the story; since it will be weird to only have maki ><
"This is going to be your future school, by the way!” A tall white man with a blindfold said to the young girl, who was holding onto his hand tightly as she stared at the school in awe. Today was a special day, the Inumaki clan had revealed to the world another Inumaki heir; one with strong cursed energy that is quite the force to be reckoned with. Even though she doesn’t have the Cursed Speech Ability like her older brother does, she still has all the qualms to be a powerful sorcerer in the future. So, with that, Gojo somehow convinces the Inumaki elders to let the young girl to visit the college.
The main reason? For his own student, of course!
Everyone knows how much Toge misses his family, more specifically, his baby sister. He hasn’t seen her since she was born, besides the odd visit here and there that never seems to end well for the two of them. When she was first born, she loved her older brother to pieces, not minding his tattoos and how quiet the man was. But the older she got, and the more she spends time around others who look relatively normal, it become a shock to her system when she realised that her “onii-chan” has scary tattoos on the side of his face.
And only speaks in onigiri ingredients too! What kind of person talks like that?
Gojo had heard this little ‘issue’ form Yuta one day, after noticing that Toge looking more glum then usual after the school gave students permission to return home over the weekend. So, as the loving sensei he is, why wouldn’t he pull some strings to let the youngest Inumaki heir to come and visit the college? She is going to enroll here in the future anyway; and since her brother was going to be there to keep an eye on her as well, his parents had agreed to let her go with the white haired shaman.
Which was how we found the little girl, wide eyed and dressed in a adorable purple and white kimono, walking beside her guardian for the day. Gojo found the young girl quite adorable, having to hold her tiny hand firmly so she was not running about the school to explore. He didn’t want her to fall and hurt herself, since she was technically under his case; but he also wants to see her reaction to seeing her older brother. “Y/N-chan, shall we go and see the onee-chan and onii-chan I told you about?”
Immediately the girl’s eyes widen as she nodded her head in excitement, soft pigtails bouncing along with her movements. Gojo had to slap a hand over his face to stop his laughter from leaving. He may not want kids, but he does find kids absolutely adorable; and wouldn’t mind taking care of them from time to time. “Let’s go then, cutie!” He said after he took a moment to calm down, laughing when the little girl just tugged on his arm excitedly as she tried to lead the way.
Only to pause when they reached a courtyard and turned to look at the older man with a soft pout; as if silently telling him that she’s lost now.
Gojo grins and reaches over to pat the top of her head before he led her towards the courtyard, where he was sure the second year students were resting at. The second years were all on break right now, having had 3 hours of lessons earlier in the day. So the man was able to locate them at their usual resting spot - the cherry blossom gardens, resting on the soft grass under the shade of the still budding cherry blossom trees.
“Yo, second years! I have a guest I want you to meet!” Gojo called out as he led the little girl towards them, who now switch to grabbing onto the fabric of his pants as they made their way towards the small group. Maki and Yuta shared a confused look, wondering if Gojo had fathered a child along the way. Panda had opened one lazy eye, his nose twitching a little at the sight of the young girl. Only Inumaki looked like he had an idea on who she is, perking up a little as he got up hastily. “Bonito flakes!”
“That’s right!” Gojo said with a grin as he clapped, gesturing to the girl that was hiding behind the tall man’s legs; peeking over at the group shyly. “Let me introduce you to the youngest Inumaki heir, and younger sister to our dear Toge-kun, Inumaki Y/N!” He introduced before he carefully coax the girl from behind his legs, squatting down before her as he gave the unsure girl a smile. “Now, Y/N-chan - how do we greet people?”
Immediately the young girl pauses before she faces the group once more, folding her hands before her before she gave them a soft bow. “It’s nice to meet you all.” She said in a soft and shy voice, causing both Maki and Yuta to coo at how cute she was. Neither of them have met Toge’s little sister before, besides seeing the odd video and picture from their friend; so seeing the young girl that’s no more than six shyly greeting them definitely causes them to find her adorable.
Toge, on the other hand, was ecstatic. Even though he does not see her as often, due to college and all, he still loves his baby sister to death. Without a fail he will send birthday and christmas presents to the young girl, receiving videos of his baby sister unwrapping them on camera and thanking him with the cutest smile on her face. However, he knows that she still does fear him - so he wasn’t too shocked when she just shyly clutched onto the front of Gojo’s uniform; shaking her head repeated whilst the older man tried to coax her to go and greet the others.
Yuta, as if feeling her distress, decided to get up and gestures for his friend to follow, both boys quietly making their way towards her whilst Maki stayed back to watch with a smile. “Hello there.” Yuta greeted quietly as he bent down to her height, giving the young girl a welcoming smile whilst Toge stood over the two of them. “My name is Yuta, you must be Toge’s younger sister?” He asks in a kind tone as he gestures to the other boy, who just waves at his sister warmly.
At the sight of the two males, the younger girl freezes up before burying herself deeper into Gojo’s jacket, causing the older man to chuckle as he rests his palm on her back soothingly. “Don’t be scared. Like I said, they are nice people.” He tried to coax the little girl, who refused to pull her face out of his uniform jacket. Her action caused Toge’s shoulders to sag a little, feeling bad that his own baby sister was scared of him.
It wasn’t his fault that his ability causes him to have tattoos on the side of his mouth and tongue. He remembers crying about it when he was younger too, but had gotten used to it ever since. Plus, a few of his uncles and aunts carry the same markings too, so he didn’t feel too alone.
But when your own baby sister is clearly scared of you, anyone would be sad.
Maki, as if sensing the tension, got up before she made her way towards the two, gently smacking the back of Yuta’s head as she squatted down beside the male; who glared at her in response as he rubbed the back of his head lightly. “You’re hopeless.” She grumbled before she turned to face the little girl with a smile, who had shyly glanced over the new addition to the group. “Y/N-chan, my name is Maki.” The woman greeted in a surprisingly soft tone, causing the little girl to loosen her hold a little on Gojo’s jacket. “Your onii-chan has told us a lot about you, and Yuta and I are quite excited that you came to visit us all the way in Tokyo.”
The three males shared a shocked look, having never expected Maki to be able to converse in such a soft tone with anyone before. But somehow she is doing it - quietly talking and coaxing the girl out of Gojo’s jacket; and soon the two girls joined hands to go to the vending machine to grab a drink. Yuta and Toge both blinked, sharing a look between each other whilst the two girls slowly faded off into the distance. Even Gojo was quite shocked by the outcome, grinning over at the two as he rest his face in his hand, his elbow resting on his bent knee with a grin. “Oya? Seems like you’ve got some competition for attention, Toge-kun.”
“...Tuna.” Toge huffed, and if his zipper was down, there was definitely a pout set on his lips as he looked away from the grinning older man. “Gojo-sensei.” Yuta said with a soft frown as he glances over at his teacher disapprovingly, who only gave a cheeky smile in response. Yuta ignored the older male as he got up, gently patting Toge on the shoulder with a smile as his friend glances over at the slightly taller male. “Don’t mind, Toge - I am sure all we need to do is help her warm up to you a little more. I mean, it’s been awhile since you’ve last saw her. Maybe she just needs more time.”
Toge gave his friend an uncertain look, but it wasn’t like there was any other choice. So he just sighs softly before he nods in defeat, to which Yuta just smiles and squeezes his shoulder reassuringly. “Don’t worry - I am sure she’ll talk to you eventually.
As the day continue to go by, Toge was pretty sure that there was no way the two of you are going to be bonding anytime soon.
Throughout the entire day, you have been clearly shadowing Maki around; asking her if she can teach you things, following her about as she went to class; clinging onto her every word as she entertained your curious questions. Yuta wasn’t any better then Toge, but she still managed to talk to him without flinching or running away from him; but she’d have to be clutching onto Maki or be close to the older girl whenever she’s conversing with Yuta. Even Panda had some interactions with you - well, it was more so you jumping and climbing all over the panda with the bright smile and loudly giggles whilst Panda laid there, letting you climb about his fluffy body.
However Maki did actually try to get the younger girl to talk to him - asking the young girl to go and ask if her older brother wanted a drink after class, quietly coaxing her to go and ask him for things like snacks or change for snacks. The younger girl though, was not having it - shaking her head with tearful eyes, silently begging the older girl without using her words. This caused Toge to deflate and his mood to drop significantly. It wasn’t like he can control his appearance to begin with.
To be honest, he had never thought much about his appearance. Because of this, he was used to getting comments and hiding his tattoos so he didn’t really stand out - but when it’s his baby sister, who he loves with his entire heart, is the one scared of him?
Now that was just another low.
Toge whines as he leans back into his seat, watching his baby sister going about following Maki as she went about her day. Yuta, who was seated next to the sulking teen, glances over at him in amusement as he finishes his mouthful of water. “Maybe she just needs some time to warm up to you.” He tried to offer, feeling bad that he was feeling this way. He was sure having your baby sister fear you was probably not the best feeling. Must have been another slap to the face when she ended up falling about your best friend. “I mean, she’s still young. She’ll grow out of this.”
The same boy just whines and tilts his head back with his eyes closed, trying not to think about the entire thing. It was because of this that he didn’t hear soft whispers and footsteps, only looking over curiously when he felt someone gently tapping on his knee. Opening his eyes quietly, he looks pulls his head up just in time to see his baby sister, cheeks rosy and eyes downcast as she held out a crudely picked bunch of flowers. Maki stood beside the young girl with an amused look on her face, looking over at Toge with a raised eyebrow when he looks up as well. “Salmon?”
“Y/N here said she wanted to make you feel better.” Maki said with a grin as he reaches down to pet the soft girl on the hair whilst the young girl just shyly nods her head. “She felt bad, since I told her that you’re sad that she’s scared of you.” Maki continues whilst Toge blinks before he carefully takes the flowers from the girl’s young hand. Quietly she wrapped her arms around his legs, since he was seated on a few seats higher from the ground.
Her reaction caused Toge to freeze, watching as she nuzzles closer and tighter her grip even more. “...D-Don’t be sad, Nee-chan.” She mumbles out in a soft voice, one so pure and innocent that it had all the seniors coo at the little girl quietly. “I-I promise to be a g-good girl..”
Toge felt his heart melt, the sadness he felt from the day melting along with him as he reaches over to pat the top of her head gently. He had hoped that his actions spoke louder then words for him, offering the girl a soft chuckle when she just looks up at him with a bright smile. Wordlessly she held her tiny hand out for him, causing Toge to tilt his head as he grabbed it; letting the little girl start to drag him about somewhere.
Maki and Yuta decided to sit back as they watch the two siblings go off to somewhere on campus, probably to the pond located on the temple grounds to feed the fish together. “How did you convince her to approach Toge?” Yuta asks with a raised eyebrow as Maki took Toge’s place on the stone steps, her long sword resting by her side. “Oh, I just explained that her older brother loves her a lot, and ask her who do you think gets you all of those gifts on her birthday.”
“Ah, guilt tripping.” Yuta teases with a grin whilst Maki just rolls her eyes with a chuckle, nudging him softly. “I would say it’s teasing her how to count her blessing.” Was Maki’s reply as they watch the two walk deeper into the campus, Toge nodding his head with an excited look whilst the young girl was talking non-stop about something.
“But hey, at least both of them look happy.”

The General Epilogue: Geto Suguru x Fem!Reader
synopsis: Some goodbyes are simply “See you later!”
wc: 1.3k
tw: none!
masterlist
“Yuji, let me see what you have!” Yuta calls out, watching the six year old with caution as he runs around the fountain behind Nobara and Megumi, who appear to be terrified.
“A knife!” Yuji cries out, and Yuta takes off after the child, screaming,
“No!”
You watch the unfolding scene with mirth, holding your swollen stomach with one hand and the other pressed to your mouth as you laugh heartily. Kaori, who is setting tea before you, shakes her head and sighs.
“Empress, you really should consider not letting Satoru watch the children alone. They come back with things no child should have and… stories.”
“Kaori, you speak of your own husband like he’s incapable of being a father-figure,” you reply, and Kaori shrugs, her long braid sliding over her shoulder.
“He’s the fun uncle who has minimal privileges. I’m not sure we’ll ever have children because--”
“I’m not infertile, if that’s what you’re implying,” Gojo mutters, sliding past the door that leads outside to where you two are sitting. Suguru follows him, hands massaging the temples of his forehead. At the sight of your husband, you hold a hand out to him, beckoning him closer. Suguru obliges, a smile splitting his face at the sight of you resting with his child in your belly. It only takes a minute, but when he sits behind you, you lean into his frame and sigh contently.
“How are you feeling?” Geto murmurs in your ear, pressing a kiss to your temple and rubbing your stomach in slow circles.
“I feel fine; how was the meeting with the heads of--”
“Terrible,” Satoru replies for him, rolling his blue eyes and groaning. “I’ve never been so bored in my entire life. All they talk about is what land they have rights to, where their children will settle, heir naming, blah, blah, blah.” Gojo sits next to Kaori, chin resting on his hand.
“You act as if you didn’t want this position,” Geto retorts and his friend sighs exaggeratedly, laying his head in Kaori’s lap. There’s a strong kick from inside of your belly against Suguru’s hand, and you chuckle while he hums happily, feeling the heel of your child sink back into its place.
“There are a lot of positions I want,” Gojo grumbles back. “But this wasn’t something I signed up for. I wanted to be a general of an army, not listening to old geezers talk about stuff that has nothing to do with me.”
Haibara appears with Yuji and Junpei in tow, holding his hand as Yuta stresses the importance of the pink-haired child needing a “buddy at all times”, citing the earlier knife incident as proof. Haibara nods repeatedly to his superior, and you can see Nanami’s slim figure by a tree, consoling the other two terrified children.
And before long, there would be one more child to add to the bunch.
“This is heaven,” Geto whispers behind you, and you nod, fully agreeing. “You know,” he begins, shifting a little. “I can’t imagine life with you.”
“Oh?” you reply, raising an eyebrow and looking up at him curiously.
“It’s true.” You crane your head up to accept a sweet kiss from Emperor Geto, and as you pull away, he whispers, “In every lifetime, I know I’ll find you. Just wait for me, okay?”
“I will,” you promise, a smile dancing across your lips. “Every single time, I’ll wait for you.”
_______________________________________________________________________
2006 A.D.
You grip the strap of your blue backpack tightly, looking at Jujutsu Tech with wary eyes. You’d been recruited, but that didn’t mean much in the end. You could fail and leave Tokyo just like you came: as an inexperienced young woman who had very little except a particularly useful ability to exorcise curses. Nothing special.
When you walk onto campus, you eye the other students with varying degrees of interest. There are quite a few, you note, but no one looks like they would know where you had to go.
“Hey,” a voice shouts out over your left shoulder. You turn to look at the person who spoke, and a white haired man with sunglasses and a black uniform - like yours - is waving at you excitedly. “Are you the new student?” You consider lying to him - because, who is he? - but you figure if he knows you’re brand new here, he might have more knowledge about the other things at this school. Like where the best hiding spot is.
“Yeah, my name is y/n.” The man huffs a breath, smiling as he sticks out a hand.
“Gojo Satoru.” You take it and shake it willingly, and a jolt of lightning bursts through your veins when you touch. Immediately, you snatch your hand back, and the man does the same, frowning and shaking his fingers.
“Should’ve used infinity,” he grumbles, but you’re looking over his shoulder at the two other approaching, and not listening to his complaints.
Behind him, a short girl with chopped brown hair and a tall man with black hair are talking, obviously intent on joining their friend in front of you, dressed in the same black colored outfits.
“Shoko, come meet your new best friend,” Gojo calls out and the woman’s eyes slide to you, before she scrunches up her brows.
“New student?” she inquires, and you nod your head, holding the strap of your backpack even tighter.
“Hey, you look familiar,” You feel the pang of recognition as you look upon the face of the balck haired man who spoke, but you’re sure you’ve never met the man in person before. Maybe you saw him in passing somewhere? “Haven’t I seen you somewhere before? Maybe at the train station?” He places a hand on his chin, thinking deeply as his onyx eyes roam over you. A tingle runs down your spine, but you shake your head.
“No, I don’t come from Tokyo,” you clarify, but that doesn’t stop the feeling of something nagging at your brain. You’ve met him before, the voice inside of you affirms, but you brush the noise aside and focus in on the other two.
“I’m y/n, pleasure to meet you.” You shake Shoko’s hand, and then the other man’s hand firmly, but you find yourself holding onto his fingers for longer than you really should have.
“Shoko Ieiri.”
“Geto Suguru.”
Just wait for me, okay? You hear those words as clear as day, and you see his expression change just a little too, but then it all goes away when Gojo speaks up.
“You know, y/n, you seem cool. Want to join us when we go see the cherry blossoms this weekend?”
“That sounds like fun,” you chime in, and you look around. “But I need to find the principal first.” Gojo and Shoko grimace, looking at each other.
“Uh, we both have this thing to do… Geto can take you!” The other two disappear into the background and you look at the raven-haired man cautiously.
“Well, I suppose you should be glad I found you. Those two never seem to want to be helpful when it’s really needed.” Geto waves you along, looking over his shoulder as you stand on the walkway, staring after him with the nagging feeling growing more and more pronounced. “Hey, you don’t need to wait anymore,” he laughs, waving you along again with a wide smile.
“I guess I’m a little worried,” you reply, looking down at your shoes nervously as you walk alongside him.
“Nah, don’t be. I’ll be right there with you. The principal won’t do much except talk, then we can catch up with the others later.” Without warning, you feel at ease speaking to this man, and you look over at him, catching his tender gaze. “Gosh, I swear I’ve seen you before.”
“I don’t know,” you laugh. “Maybe we knew each other in a past life?” Geto laughs heartily, shoulders shaking while he puts his hands in his pockets.
“Maybe… maybe...”

The Strongest
Chapter 9
A yuji itadori x reader fic
manga spoilers
Mother always said that showing people your feelings was a waste of time. That you should only show people what they want. Happiness. Nothing else.
You showed your dad the happiness he needed when he hit mother.
You showed your mother happiness when she cried in bed.
You showed Megumi happiness when he lost one of his dogs.
You showed Nobara happiness when she spilled something on her dress.
You showed Yuji happiness when he lost a fight.
You showed Sukuna that same happiness when he said some dumb shit.
You showed Satoru that same happiness when he cried about Suguru.
You showed Satoru happiness when he hit you.
You showed yourfather that happiness when he hit you.
Maybe if you didn't think that Satoru was your father maybe you would've been happy for real. Maybe you could've shown all of those feelings you have. Shown the sadness you have all bottled up. Shown that anger you had never shown people before. Maybe you could've had a different view on the mission you had.
The mission your father assigned to you.
To kill Satoru Gojo.
As he had failed to.
Forgot about it for a while. The thing is that you don't want to kill Satoru. You want to live with him again, have all those cheerful moments with him again. Where we forgot about the dark and dreadful world that we live in.
The laughs we shared throughout the years he's raised me. The way his arms wrapped around me when you cried. The way my arms wrapped around him when he cried. The giant smile he would wear when you got himKikufuku. The smiles we would wear when we dunked Nanami in red paint. The way he used his cursed technique to save me from the curse.
The way he sobbed when you wouldn't get up. With your blood all over his hands. The shock on Shoko's face when she saw you limp in Satoru's arms. She never wanted to say it, but she could feel the remnants of Satoru's Hollow Purple technique still there. Lingering inside your body. She needed him to understand that you can't handle all the training he's put you through.
Maybe that's why you forgot.
You could never kill your father.
But you could trap him.
ʕ'• ᴥ•̥'ʔ
Why did I have to eat a finger that tasted like burnt cardboard. I guess if I didn't Megumi would be dead. He'd be a corpse on a cart, going into a grave just for him. The bright side of eating the finger was that I got the family I've always wanted.
Weird family but family none the less.
Gojo being my uncle. Nanami being my father. Megumi, Nobara and Maki being my siblings. Toge, Yuta being the cousins. Panda, well he's a panda.
All these people mean so much to me that I would hate for them to ever leave my side. Just how I don't wantthem to leave. The one that ran away.
I never remembered my father or mother. Always remembering the little things. Short black hair with what might have been stich-
"Hey, dumbass stay focused."
Right. I have a job to do.
♪┌|∵|┘♪
You knock on the door that you never had to knock on. That's why Grell is shocked to see you. You've always just barged in; like he does, without a care in the world.
He looks at you with a sad smile, a smile with pity laced between it. He opens the door wider, stepping aside so I can walk through it. You do, making a dash for his bedroom. You start by taking off your shirt and pants while you there, going to his closet to steel his shit.
He waits outside the door, knowing that you're getting changed and waits for you to finish. When you open the door, you're not looking him in the eyes, and he knows that tonight is a night where we don't talk.
He gently grabs you by the hand and slowly drags you to the living room, flopping you on it and throwing a blanket over you. While you're getting settled with the blanket and turning on the tv, Grell is in the kitchen making something.
He must know that you haven't eaten for what feels like a week but has only been a couple hours. He walks back in with food and drinks for the both of us. He sets the plate to be sitting on the coffee table and goes to move to lay behind you, spooning you, moving the blanket to cover us both.
His stupidly long arms move across you to grab the plate of food and balances it on our sides. As the movie plays, he keeps handing me bits and pieces of it and you slowly devourer the plate of food. His left arm is underneath your head with his right arm across your middle, drawing imaginary lines on 'your clothes'.
No words were said, none needed to be said. All the emotions we had for each other were displayed right here, on the expensive couch watching "The Princess and the Frog". All the pain we've had to endure went away, only for the day. Not even that, only for a couple of hours we had left.
The prison realm sitting only a couple feet away.
⊙﹏⊙
The next couple of days have just been of you trying to avoid Yuji. After that little scene near the lake we haven't talked, not once. You can see the light in his eyes get brighter when he sees you, breaking your heart when you turn around and go the other way. You never see the way his arm is always out, trying to reach you, to touch you. But never being able to. The way he slowly puts it down and dragging himself to go with Nobara.
"You know it's kinda sad." Why is she always saying that to me.
"What is?"
"How much you like them, but they don't like you that much. It's just embarrassing seeing you pin after someone that barley acknowledges you."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I stopped in the middle of the empty street staring at her. Maybe it was embarrassing that I like them. Every time they see me, they run away.Again. Maybe they were right, I am nothing without Sukuna. I really am nothi-
"I mean that they don't care about you like that Itadori. They probably don't even like you as a friend. Only see you as a stranger." She stopped to look back at me with a calm look on her face. I take a step back.
"N-Np they like me. They do, I know they do." I can't tell if I'm trying to convince myself or her. I can see that sad look on her face again. She walks towards me and puts her hands on my shoulders.
"Look, I know it's hard to understand but look at the facts Itadori. They don't like you." She tells me without breaking eye contact.
"Why are you acting like you know what's going on in their mind!!" I exclaim while slapping her hands off me. "You don't know anythi-
"Can we just focus on the mission. We can talk about this later." She says while she starts to walk away.
"Fine"
O_O
You and Megumi are in his room studying for the 'test' that Grell is giving us. You never believed him but he's the teacher, surprisingly. You don't mind working with him but there's only one problem.........he won't stop staring at you.
"What?"
"Huh?"
"Why are you staring at me like that."
"I'm not."
"Yeah, you are. Stop it."
"I just don't get it." There it is. "Why you always leave when you see Itadori."
"I don't know what your talking about." You respond to him, not taking your gaze off your textbooks. You don't want to be having this talk to Megumi, to anyone really.
"Don't lie to me. We both know."
"Megumi please, I don't want to talk about this." I move my fingers to massage my temple, you could already feel the headache starting to form.
"Yuji is my friend, and I don't like him being upset."
"Oh, would you look at that. Megumi fucking Fushigiro having feelings. I didn't know you had those."
"Look I didn'y mean fo-"
"Then what do you want from me, huh. To say that I like him. No-No-No you want me to say that I love him, that I want him too always be around me. That I want him to hold me like someone never has before. Well, I don't want that. Never have. Never will." You turn to glare at him trying to see his reaction, but as always, his expression is unreadable.
"You do love him. We can all see it."
You turn away, you don't want to admit it. You pack up all your stuff, blocking out his voice of protests. When you walk away, he doesn't chase after you, you don't want him to. You do see his black demon dog following me though. Once it sees that you've noticed it, it stops hiding ang runs up to walk next to you. You knew he wouldn't just let you escape like that, but that little conversation still feels like a little itch in the back of your throat.
What does he mean by'we all know'?
Who's we?
Is 'we' Grell? Nobara? Maki? Toge?Him?
You don't think you could live with yourself if he knew.

Oh and because you asked for Yuji headcannons! I don't know why I have this one bc we know he has to die but let's ignore that In "everyone lived happily ever after AU" I could see Yuji having a girl if he and his s/o ever chose to become parents (bio, adoption anything) but it would always be a girl and Yuji is 300% confused as an only child and a dude but that doesn't stop him from doing his damndest to know every princess and have been dressed up as each princess once. Bc in my mind we all live happily ever after :,)
Also idk but I headcannon Yuji as ambidextrous. Might fight with his right hand if hes using a weapon but the rest of the time he can be seen switching things to his left or right naturally just depending on what's the easiest. It pisses Nobara off bc she is cripplingly right handed. And Megumi is left to wonder how Yuji even picked that up when boi forgets to write his name on half the mission papers
💛anon
Okay for starters Yuji would be a great father if he manages to keep his personality and not grow up to be cold and bitter like some people do when presented with trauma
He would 100% end up with a feminine child and he would adore every minute of it
He has this overwhelming need to protect, for starters. He probably wants someone small and dainty to protect, even if it's from the pretend monster that lives under the bed or just grabbing their arm when they're about to slip. Now that doesn't necessarily mean he thinks his daughter/femchild is weak it's just to early in the morning for me to word this properly
He would be really good with doing girly things bc Aunty Nobara has put him through it all. He knows how to do hair/makeup/nails etc. He even knows about periods should they be older
He thrives to make people happy so of course he has various Disney princess costumes. They're kept right in between his inflatable dinosaur costume and his Natsu Dragneel cosplay
He's just s goofball over all so expect them to have a great childhood. He gets on the floor and plays with them, takes them to parks, gets into nerf gun/water balloon fights, it's a mess. He's the kinda dad that will make the biggest mess bc "it can be cleaned up its fine"
The others would get involved too. Wait until this precious child finds out one of their uncles is a panda and another can summon bunnies. Nobara would "steal" the child to take them shopping just so they can have matching outfits. I can low key see Megumi being a tutor-ish type, but he's really fun about it. He probably gives them candy and tries to make sure they don't turn out like their dad/grandpa. Speaking of Grandpa Gojo he's just about as chaotic as Yuji, if not more so, he he probably takes them to carnivals and indoor trampoline parks and gives them way too many sweets. Probably tried to take the child on a mission once snd Yuji said over my dead body. Panda's only function is playmate, and they're a little sceptical of Uncle Toge bc he speaks in funny words, but he makes them little origami trinkets so it's okay. Maki is trying her hardest to keep the child shelter because they're being raised by idiots
Also I can agree about Yuji being ambidextrous for many reasons. For starters he's basically a little freak of nature and he's really good at a lot of things, so why can't switching off hands be one? He's always going "hey, watch this!!" To the others and proceeding to do something cool, while odd, and the ability to function with both hands is one of them. He does it to piss Nobara off, as with most things he does. Also it kinda fits canon because wasn't his left hand cut off in the third episode? The hand weilding the cursed knife? I can't remember it's too early but also know Mai and Getou are seen fighting with their left hand too (and it's really hard to hold a gun with your nondom hand so at least one of them has to be left handed) so it's possible it's canon. Also I'm ambidextrous when it comes to everything except writing and I like having things in common with my comfort characters so I dub this canon

To Be Yuji (Part 2)
To Be Someone Who Thinks Kaijus Are Cool:
Yuji has an interest, and really, it’s the most logical point to go from, given how cool he thinks Ultras are.
AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/27476341/chapters/67245799
Yuji was thirteen when he realized just how cool Kaijus could be, at least when they weren’t attacking the city or something. It had started as just a silly idea for a school assignment, one that in doing brief research before hand had devolved into something a bit... more. The thing about Yuji was that when something interested him, he got sucked into it and stayed interested in it for a significant amount of time. Which was precisely what happened here.
It probably didn’t help that his Big Bro was gone when he developed this interest. Yuji wasn’t really used to Riku being gone, especially not for more than a few days. But a couple months ago, Uncle Zero had come and brought news that there were these shards of their father’s, of Belial’s, DNA and they were causing problems all around. Big Bro Riku, being Big Bro Riku, felt the need to go after those shards - Uncle Zero called them Devil Spliters - and keep them from causing as much trouble as possible.
The whole things wasn’t much of a surprise to Yuji, not really, but it still created a major change that he was still getting used to. His brother being gone for a lot longer than he ever had been before. While at the moment it had only been a couple times and never for longer than a few weeks - his brother had to travel through space and whiles Yuji wasn’t really sure how Uncle Zero traveled so fast, he was pretty sure it was something Riku couldn’t do.
Another reason it was such a change for Yuji was because when Riku left, he brought REM and Big Bro Pega with him, leaving Yuji to stay with others for the time. Usually, it was Uncle Leito and Aunt Lumina, they were who he stayed with when Big Bro was busy. It wasn’t like he hadn’t spent time there overnight, it was just so strange to spend as long there as he was starting to.
He was thirteen, that meant he could figure things out for himself. From what he’d heard, there were a lot of these Devil Splinters, so that meant that Big Bro Riku would be busy looking for them. Which meant more trips and longer trips. Which for Yuji, meant more time with Aunt Lumina and Uncle Leito and less time seeing Riku, Pega, and REM. It’s not that he didn’t like being around Leito and Lumina it’s just... Well his brother took the main role as parent for him, so the idea of him being gone so much...
There was probably something else there, too. Some other reason that Yuji didn’t like the idea of his brother being gone so much. Maybe it was just him being selfish, maybe it was something else. But the point was, though Yuji understood why Riku wanted to deal with the Devil Splinters himself, that didn’t mean that he had to be happy about. Or happy about how, somehow, despite being dead for over twenty years - properly dead - their “father” was still causing trouble.
Anyway.
Yuji was currently lamenting the small selection of books on Kaijus in the library. The issue was that, although Kaijus certainly existed naturally on the planet, they were very rarely seen with human eyes. Even now, in a time of relative peace, most people had only ever seen a Kaiju when it chose to attack the city. Which Yuji was desperately hoping never coincided with a time when Big Bro Riku wasn’t on Earth, not unless Uncle Zero was visiting at that time. Who would deal with the monster otherwise?
As a result of the lack of interaction between humans and monsters, at least ones that weren’t violent, there was very little research available. Many of the books that Yuji could find were old and used even older sources. One that he had read last week was actually just an analysis of the Pacific Records, which while interesting didn’t exactly tell him a lot about Kaijus. It was infuriating.
So like any good teenager with some degree of tech savvy, of which Yuji was rather good with, he turned to the internet. The yield was only marginally better than what he’d found at the library. But while the library was limited by the books they actually had, the internet was not. Yuji found himself reading article after article covering Kaijus, though many were still old. But there was one thing that surprised him. There was a surge of recent articles, within the past year, talking about Kaijus. Or more importantly, the odd rise in peaceful appearances of them.
To summarize the articles - as Yuji had ended up spending several days and far too much time into the night reading them - there had, as early as two years ago, been reports of supposed Kaiju sightings. Up until a little over a year ago, though, none of them had been confirmed. Then, one report was made - a farmer had supposedly seen a Litra flying over their house towards a large hill surrounded by forest - and a group went to investigate. Which lead to the most amazing part, there was a Litra, perched in her nest! Obviously, the group couldn’t get very close, but they got pictures and took what notes they could.
After all of that, more and more sightings were able to be confirmed. Which told meant that, for one reason or another, Kaijus were starting to exist in places where humans could find them. That, obviously, had it’s own branch of issues. There was no guarantee that the monsters wouldn’t wander into a city or town and cause problems.
it was because of that, it seemed, that the most recent article Yuji read was written. It was written just a few days ago, bearing the resounding heading, “In the Wake of Monsters, What Safety Measures are Being Taken?”. The article raised the questions about what was being done to protect people from the monsters rampaging, arguing that the world couldn’t rely solely on Ultraman - something Yuji could agree with wholeheartedly, as he knew his brother and uncle couldn’t always be around. It called for some kind of group to be created, to protect people and deal with monsters.
The general reaction to it seemed to be mostly positive, which made Yuji smile. The idea of humans being able to defend themselves, especially with the possibility that an Ultra wouldn’t always be there to protect them, was a good one, at least to him. How they’d do that, though, was another problem entirely.
---
Yuji was fourteen and a half when Japan created a team to deal with monsters.
The group was introduced as the Anti-Monster Robot Unit STORAGE - with STORAGE being short for Special Tactical Operations Regimental Airborne and Ground Equipment, a good telling for their methods of dealing with monsters, if in more words. STORAGE would fight monsters with the use of a robot - though Yuji would argue mechs would be more appropriate to call them, as they required a pilot and robots would imply remote control as opposed to manual.
Eventually, the robot they would use was reveal, known as Sevenger. Sevenger’s appearance betrayed it’s capabilities, looking far too cute for what it was able to do. After all, anything that was designed to fight monsters would have to be both sturdy and physically strong. So while the exact details of what the robot was capable of was not revealed to the public, that didn’t stop Yuji and several others online from speculating - and if Yuji many pages of notes on the matter, well that just meant he was really thinking about it.
Yuji could easily appreciate what STORAGE was set to do. He certainly admired them, though if anyone other than Suzume asked, he’d deny it. All it did was make him learn more and more about Kaijus.
STORAGE was already doing more to protect people than Yuji could ever dream to. But that still didn’t stop him from doing what he could do well. Which was Kaijus and knowing how they worked and what they did. If that also meant expanding his inquiries to also include Aliens, well, he knew plenty of people who weren’t human. Yuji decided that for now, at least, knowledge would be his power. If that meant asking Suzume, Big Sis Mayu, Big Bro Kurow, and Big Sis Moa as much about Aliens as possible, then that was fine.
And so, in the wake of the creation of the Anti-Monster Robot Unit that was known as STORAGE, it was then that Yuji had decided so much. He may not have what it takes to be a hero, he may lack the skills and power necessary to save people like his brother, but he would help people. He’d do everything he could... Until then, though, he’d just have to work on bolstering that knowledge.
