Magda needs more love and if she's gonna get more than "dead wife" then i guess I'll take matters into my own hands...

In my head Magda is actually ALIVE and never died, she lived her life pretty peacefully. After the tragic event of losing her first daughter and seeing what her husband magneto was fully capable of, she fled from him and lived in constant fear that he would find her and take her twins away. Since she knew he was a mutant and didn't mind that, but thought that bc she was a human now he hated her (which was false)

Magda made the decision to leave the twins when they were babies and left their care to bova, the bovine midwife mutant. Magda told bova to tell the twins that she mysteriously disappeared and assume her dead so that they would not try to follow her. In case magneto would get to either one of them

She lived her life somberly, she never remarried or found love beyond a few fleeting crushes bc magneto traumatized her that much. She became a florist in a rural European village, changing her name to "isabelle" so magneto would still not find her even if she made sure that she was "dead" to him and her kids. Everyone there adores her.

By chance quicksilver found her while doing work as an avenger and vowed to keep this a secret from his sister, wanda. and erik. Despite the fact he's incredibly hurt and angry at her for ditching them bc she was so scared of magneto, his resentment lessened when he learned of what happened to his late sister, anya. And the events that transpired from then on. And a part of magda still loves erik, but seeing what he was capable of never made her see him the same way ever again...

Does it make her a coward? An awful mother for leaving her kids because she was that scared of their father? Maybe. But she's only human, and she was so scared. So scared...

If erik could speak with Magda without the poor woman getting triggered, he would tell her that he'd rather die than let any harm come to her.

That he'd endure more suffering if it ment she could have peace. And he'll leave her alone if it means that. But she'll never leave his heart, his memories. He loves her too much to ever want any part of her gone, even the bad memories. They're reminders of what he is if he lets himself out of control, what he loses when he falls into old habits.
