genuine hot take but that ps5 slim just looks terrible.

like 'ah yes let's make a console still prone to over heating smaller because that'll def make the issue 'better' and also fixate on making the digital version look like one cohesive piece while the ps5 slim disc version looks like its got a Lump attached to it.'

also like. they JUST released the special panels for spider man 2. if anyone bought those panels, they're probably NOT going to upgrade because those panels, from what i can see of the slim, aren't gonna fit on it.

AND the slims are going to be the same price as the standard ps5. what is even the point of this slim model??? eugh

#dreamy speaking #like MAYBE if they'd up the default amount of storage to 2tb i'd see this being worth an upgrade #but if you already have a ps5 than the slim is pointless.#like nothing the slim offers is inherently better than the standard PS5 which sucks because #that wasn't the case for the ps4 slims. they very quickly started making 1tb slims #tbh the PS5's game library as struggled a lot even now #like PS4 is only barely going to stop getting games late next year at the earliest #which is very different to the change from ps3 to ps4 #ps3 lasted maybe a year or two after the ps4 went to market
