I am vividly reminded that as of the current timeline, around nearly years have passed since the unicron arc up until let's say the start of the Tarn and Fallen fiasko. This got much longer than expected, and i admit this isn't new information but a collection of previously established information organized into a timeline because uwu time periods. I will heavily rely on @ivycorp 's contributions, as I'm gonna be real they're the reason the TFP au exists, are very great at writing, and pretty much the coowner of this au.

(Technically, I wasn't going to include this, but Hazard arrived very shortly after the cosmic rust plague episode and a little bit after when Megatron woke up. This is because they are a fucking bloodhound when it comes to plagues and chemical weaponry.)

Orion was on the Nemesis in the Orion arc for, let's say three at minimum five maximum? months. [Remembering our forgotten games happens at some point in here, happens at some point around here, and I'm betting this becomes a whole hidden thing for a lot of the Orion arc— this will have consequences] About halfway through this the Elite triad arrives and there's a whole emotional thing once Optimus regains his memories and comes back.

Their little extra spicy dance lasted a While before Soundwave's revenge began, before that the Decepticons got more attached to earth culture, I would also say that lasted around six months enough for the 'cons to get used to Megatron's flustered and horny antics. So that places us at around eleven months max?

At the beginning of Optimus's emotional renaissance and increasingly awkward battles is when Dreadwing arrives and almost immediately fucks off into the woods. Soundwave bridges Arachnid into the Atlantic ocean to rust at the bottom of the sea, she survives on the Harbinger for a while, finds the Insecticons as she has a bridge key, and fucks off into the middle of Australia to set up the hive (which becomes very energon lucrative) Wheeljack arrived with Dreadwing, and stays around a little longer with Boyfriend Bulkhead than canon.

More towards the mid mark, Shockwave is revealed to be very alive and comes down on Earth. He drags a half baked Predaking with him, to nobody's knowledge just yet. [About when Colleagues with very enjoyable benefits is set] Juncee begins here with Sweet and Tenative Hope and it's so goddamn sweet. Pharma (and very quickly Tarn and the DJD) around the mid mark finds his way onto Earth on an escape pod actually. [This is when Rival Exes who at least pretend not to have feelings with each other happens uwu] He's very stern on Not leaving the base, and eventually everyone picks up the vibe that he's got unpleasant history with Tarn. Nobody questions this just yet, and we focus more on the Breakout, Megop, and continuing Ratchma antics. [Permanent honeymoon is placed in this section] This is around when the vehicon couple who had ran during season one and lived on the downed Eros get caught and offlined.

Closer to the end of the spicy battlefield dance arc, Everyone's starting to get very tired of the exponentially increasing Battlefield Megop. This is actually the first time the humans witness Megatron with a visor and when ge finally gets to pin Optimus— and then proceeds to get struck by lightning. They do not see Megs with a visor again for quite a while, because he's a stubborn asshole and forgets them more often then not. [And they were exes at war (oh my god they were exes at war!) Is placed here]. Exactly pretty much immediately after that are the events of [Megatron & his servo], which begins the glorious Soundwave's revenge arc!

[This is when I mention that Following the pull that bound us together (I will not let go) by far spans the most time, starting somewhat before Orion first heard of Megatronus alllllllll the way until the night after the fateful comm call that lead to the Soundwave's revenge arc lol]

The whole Tarn fanfiction ordeal likely started around when the guy first arrived and decided to turn in fics instead of reports. The domino effect of Soundwave and Starscream saying nothing of this for a while, KO and Breakdown learning through a loopy seeker and sharing unofficial information on the GC, Tarn turning in more fics, and eventually Star being allowed onto the GC and he comes bestowing an absolute archive of Megatarnma fics— of which Fowler immediately sees and that's hilarious. Quickly at the start of Soundwave's revenge arc, Megatron (who is distinctly not in the GC) has so many backlogged reports to do under Soundwave's supervision and this is when he learns of the fanfiction. Tarn, who is also not in the GC, spends quite a while longer completely ignorant of anyone knowing of his secret fantasy love triangle. [Detailed in the events of Tarn's imaginary love life - and the repercussions of his self-insert fanfiction] Let's be real this is another reason nobody on the Nemesis likes Tarn.

The Soundwave's revenge arc lasted a good four weeks. The Soundwave's revenge arc (calling it this is more if a misnomer by the end, as the revenge part fades quite a lot once they learn how much of a disaster Megatrons's internals are) is around when Miko started making a game of Houdiniing her way onto the Nemesis, naturally. Megatron is pretty much confined to the medbay for a nice while. At thr beginning of this Soundwave decides it's time to involve Swindle into this, and he arrives pretty soon as his one man ship The Hustle which is specifically customized his small stature and being fast arrives. [Quickly after this arrival I'm betting the events of Of holograms, galas, and unexpected guests happen] [This is also around when the powerpoint in Life on the Nemesis for the majority of its crew is shown, with the one vehicon that gets mentioned likely having been assigned to Hazard duty (mind the pun) in the mid to end spicy battlefield dance arc] Also among events is Dreadwing's rather gory death via the DJD, with bits of him being left across multiple countries.

At the three week mark Megatron gets his quarters back, and this only lasts three days. Then which Starscream half blows herself up live on stream thanks to Megatron's little problem distracting her. Megatron's newly returned private Quarters privileges get revoked, again. Rather quickly after this, Optimus's surprise visit happens. The toys get burned (by Primus not the toys!), the absolutely dope and iconic 2 v 1 fight occurs, annnd that ends in the charred remains of Orion and 'Tronus's collection are left on the battlefield. [As the events of When your nemesis is no longer coming to fight you in the field]

[ Megatron as a patient, or how Soundwave tries to not go insane with his leader’s unfortunate addiction to a certain Prime spans all the way from the start of Soundwave's revenge to the tail end of it]

But, eventually the autobots do learn, giving us another stretch of time as Silverlight's existence prompts a very important treaty and negotiations and "how much do you want me involved with childcare" conversations that need to happen. I'm gonna say this lasts a good three four months? Putting us at 18 to 19 months, around a year and three quarters. During quite an amount of this there's the whole extra protective Megatron stuff and the medics' antics to get checkups on both of them (... and hell, once they do that it's Optimus's turn) Tarn's starting to get super agitated and asks a lot of questions that nobody gives him a straight answer for, the rest of the DJD can kind of sense this and it blows up in everyone's face soon.

At some point, Megatron regains his quarters, and no more incidents seem to have occured or he was just quiet enough about it these times.

This is actually likely when the Grabbening occured, and honestly this is something I've been really itching to talk about more because it's a whole situation. I can see this being an ambush (that on the Decepticons' part is on accident, they did nOT know that there would be autobots out here) with Jazz and Elita, also naturally including Arcee and Bumblebee. It's the first time anyone besides Optimus has seen Megatron, and there's a serious initial fear of "oh FUCK, Megatron is not only here but we don't have Megatron aaaaand the kids and Fowler came with us frag frag frag—", at least until they notice how he isn't on his game. Like, time to start cracking half serious terrorcon and zombie jokes time. Hazard is also here, a rare sight on the battlefield, and absolutely terrorizes the hell out of the humans. The autobots immediately call for a groundbridge,, Soundwave tracks Megatron who's most definitely not supposed to be out of the medbay who the fuck let him outside for a flight, and sends out a bridge as well (don't worry this one isn't very close to the autobots' bridge, no shadowzone adventures for today). Everyone hears thunder, and as is Cybertronian policy to immediately GTFO and there's convenient bridges right there (Megatron, who's already certainly feeling like a terrorcon, actuallyis avoiding being struck by lightning! What an occurrence!). The catch being at least a few Decepticons having bluescreen moments and grabbing all four humans and booking it back to the Nemesis. Because naturally Knockout, Starscream, and Soundwave own the functioning processor components right now. There's a whole discussion about this the moment they get back, with so much arguing in Neocybex that the humans at this point have only vaguely learned some of. The humans are only on the ship for a good twelve hours because certainly the autobots are afraid as hell. Miko isn't because Miko is bold as hell, and at this point has somewhat desensitized Soundwave to her presence. Hazard drags Fowler to their lab with the intent to run experiments onto him and the kids are just kinda vaguely near the commanders. More terrorcon Megatron jokes ensue, because all he wants to do right now is make the most of his re reinstated quarters privileges. Fowler discovers the lost vehicon, (who i now dub Sidewinder because ykw ykw we've mentioned this guy enough that he deserves a two part name) which is a whole thing because he's gotten attached to them. Soundwave, who upon learning that Hazard has gotten the vehicons' favorite human and those guys are making a convincing case. Soundwave comes to the rescue for Fowler and Sidewinder, most certainly scruffs Hazard because of the rules violations he sees immediately upon entering the lab. The other vehicons actually nab both Sidewinder and Fowler, and it's a whole thing about rushing the mech to quarantine and frantically thanking both Soundwave and Fowler for rescuing him. Eventually, the autobots find their way onto the Nemesis and boy do the humans have a story to tell. This would also explain why in the sparkling fic Soundwave would've been pretty concerned about Megatron getting off the ship (btw he bribed Breakdown with string lights, the really good multicolored ones, and by pleading him to let him fly. Megan had no intention to give him the lights but Soundwave much exactly went in and got them for Breaky)

The surprise child is revealed after some missed appointments (likely merely a week). Around this point the neutral hired theraputic medic Rung arrives in the Chance, and upon the first visit he's pretty surprised at the emotional support sparkling. Also around this point, Tarn's presence is being slowly less and less tolerated on the Nemesis but let's be real that's also because of his one sided and slightly scary rivalry with the beep beep jeep, and the knowledge that he's most definitely still writing Megatarnma fics. At some point in what I'm now dubbing the beginning of the Oh Shit A Child arc, Swindle cut a deal with the Autobots with trading earth based luxury goods for Cybertronian luxury goods he has obtained. Surprisingly this does actually go fairly well for both parties, and neither betrays the other.

I'm betting the autobots didn't learn about the sparkling for hear this yet for another threeish months because wow they didn't want to deal with the awkwardness of telling them. I haven't quite decided how, exactly, but dear Primus it is juicy. At some point, Megatron is allowed back on the bridge and is a little less obsessively territorial with his sparkling. Which leads to so many cute interactions where he's holding Silverlight and mecha try to hide their gawking at a respectable distance. So 13-14 months? Tarn, at this point, is just... not allowed on the Nemesis. He's too dangerous and unpredictable to be around something so vulnerable and way important to their leader who already has notorious murderous leanings. Swindle is pretty relieved at this because i mean he definitely doesn't like being grabbed, and Knockout is glad because it means he doesn't have to treat another one of Tarn's stab wounds from said picking up.

Inevitably, Tarn learns of Silverlight and is very not happy that it threatens his fantasy. The Fallen sees this and thinks "okay finally we can get all of this moving a little faster" ... this may also be because I'm thinking thoughts about how Tarn's Voice has an impact on the Fallen even through the dimensional barrier. Sure, not Nearly as strong as it would be on a complete mortal, but it's somewhat an influence. He may be manipulating Tarn much easier than he did in canon with Steeljaw, but he cannot deny that this Tarn has more power than previously thought. The demigod is not used to being dare I say scared after millennia of being trapped. This is when Tarn's darkness in this au starts to really become apparent.

In this short time period in the first month or so after his discovery, Tarn's scorn is limited to quite a few savior fics fics involving Optimus and the sparkling. But eventually there is a public outburst where he sees Pharma for the first time in ages, and Pharma outright states that nobody loves Tarn, especially not Megatron nor himself, and that he honestly couldn't see why anyone could love Tarn. Which, might've been a shitty thing to say but this is when the events of Delphi get revealed so. Aaaand this is when Tarn, before openly threatens Megatron, Optimus, Pharma, Ratchet, and the sparkling (because let's be real Tarn has really and truly snapped at this point, and is willing to do just about anything to get what he wants.)

This will not end well for him.

So... that totals up (using the maximum ranges of the numbers i stated up above, naturally this will not be exact, and since this au is absolutely open to you guys' input as well, I'm fully willing to hear any of y'all's thoughts on the timeline and what you think should be changed to make more sense) bringing us to roughly a little over a year and a half 😁

Originally I was going to include all the way until the end of the Tarn and fallen fiasko, but it got so damn long i didn't have the energy to elaborate on that. But, for context, there's that, there's the events between it and the war over party, what happens beyond that and before the insecticons come up (which i imagine smack dab in the middle of that time period is the discovery about the true nature of the additive), the insecticon stuff, a lil gap between that, a relatively short ordeal with MECH and after that... afterward is pretty much the happy ending

Autumn Part 1

Character Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader, Loki x Reader

Warnings: I mean the first one is that this isn’t a pure Bucky Barnes fic. The reader will be with multiple people throughout.

Synopsis: Reader is half Asgardian and half mortal. She leaves Asgard to explore the mortal side of her and ends up meeting and falling in love with Bucky Barnes. It starts out in 1942, before Bucky leaves for duty and before Steve becomes Captain America

Authors Note: Whoops I started a new series. Canon compliant AU I haven’t decided if the events of infinity war will happen in this story yet. We’ll find out together I guess. Part one in a series

“I believe this to be a mistake.” Loki says quietly. “You are of Asgard, you do not need to see the way Midgardians live.” He’s pleading at this point, and he is not one to plead. “Please lady, this is madness.” He says as you continues to ignore him.

You finally look at him and huff out a breath. “You are my oldest and dearest friend. I don’t expect you to understand, but I do hope you will support me. I am not just of Asgard, my mother was mortal and I wish to explore that side of myself.” She says. “The all father has already agreed to my request. And I do not want to leave with us fighting.” You say and take his hands.

Loki looks weary. “I just don’t see this ending any way but painfully.” He says in a small voice. You squeeze his hands tightly in your. “I’ll be back before you even have a chance to miss me.” You whisper and kiss his cheek. Heimdall opens the bifrost and then you are gone.

You’d thought long and hard about your decision to leave Asgard. It would always be home, but there were parts of yourself that you wished to understand, things you couldn’t learn by simply reading about Midgard in the palace libraries. You had to experience them yourself.

You’d made that decision three years ago.

You’d been living as a human for three years. The year on earth was 1942.

All things considered, you think you’d adjusted pretty well. you’d picked up their quirks and their clothing, it was easier for you to fit in because you were half mortal. You’d made a few friends, gotten a job, you had a nice little flat in a city called Brooklyn. You worked in a little bakery. You’d taken very well to human food and cooking. And most importantly, you’d kept yourself from forming any lasting relationships. You knew you couldn’t stay here forever, and even if you could you would easily outlive everyone you’d met. You couldn’t get attached.

And it’s that fact that you knew instantly the cocky young man who’d become a regular at the bakery would be a problem.

You are stood at the counter reorganising product when the stranger approaches you.

“What do you recommend?” He asks. You let out a little laugh but don’t look up at him.

“You’ve been in here every day this week, you think you’d have developed an opinion.” You retort, looking up at him briefly.

He grins at you. “I like your accent. Where you from doll?” He asks.

You hum. “Not here.” You say simply, this seems to appease him well enough.

“I’m Bucky.” He says and holds out a hand to you. You smile politely and tell him your name as you shake his hand.

“Pretty name for a pretty girl.” He says with a beaming smile.

It’s a bit overwhelming if you’re honest with yourself. “It’s nice to meet you Bucky.” You say softly.

He talks to you every day for the next month. Casual, flirty small talk. You can tell this is second nature to him, so you can’t really find the harm in flirting back. He must have plenty of women he chats up on the daily.

But then one day he asks you on a proper date.

“A date?” You ask as you both walk home, he’s insisted on doing that the last week or so. Once he’d realised you would usually work until closing.

He laughs sheepishly. “Could you not act so repulsed by the idea?” He says and scratches the back of his neck, he almost looks insecure.

“I’m not.” You say quickly. “Far from it, if I’m being honest. It just seems a bit out of nowhere.” You say.

He frowns and stops walking, looking at you. “I’ve been preparing for this for a month. I’ve been chatting you up and complimenting you, I’ve been calling you pet names.” He says.

“At first I thought that was because you didn’t remember my name.” You admit.

“I could never forget that. Please, doll, go out with me tomorrow.” He says, he’s begging playfully and you find yourself endeared.

You sigh dramatically. “Fine.” You say.

He beams. “Fantastic. So, one more thing. Do you have a friend who’d be willing to double?” He asks. You raise an eyebrow in question. This causes him to continue. “There’s someone I want you to meet. Or…well, I guess I more want them to meet you. But he’s gonna need a date. So do you know of anyone?”

You stare at him for a bit before nodding. “Yeah, sure. What uh..What should I tell her to expect?” You ask.

“Just have her meet us at the bakery tomorrow and I’ll give her all the details.” He says. You’ve begun walking again and are nearly at your building. “He’s a good guy, I promise.” He assures when he sees the uneasy look on your face.

You walk up the steps to your building then. “Thanks for walking me home Buck.” You say softly.

“No need to thank me, darling.” He says and smiles. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” He asks, slight insecurity in his voice.

You nod. “Yeah, I’ll see you then.” You say softly.

He grins and kisses your cheek, running off before you can comment.

You spend a fair amount of time getting ready in the morning. You’d never been on a date. You’d avoided them while on earth and dates were not a common occurrence on Asgard unless you were courting. Which, you’d never had a reason to do. You found yourself being a bit nervous. You spend more time on your hair and makeup than you normally would, you wear a nicer dress. And all throughout your workday, you find yourself distracted.

Your friend, Nora, meets you outside the bakery. “So what exactly do you know about this guy?” She asks. You shrug. “Honestly, all I know is he’s Buck’s friend. So..he must be all right.” You say. She nods. “I suppose that’s good enough for me.” She says and shrugs.

Bucky walks over to you both then. “Hi, sweetheart.” He says and kisses your cheek. “Hello.” He says and holds out his hand to Nora. You introduce them to each other and then you begin walking. “Steve’s meeting us there. He might be a bit nervous, he doesn’t love dates.” He admits. “But he’s a good guy, I think you’ll like him.” He says to Nora. As you walk, his fingers brush yours, and as the sun is setting he finally grabs your hand and tangles your fingers together. There is a street carnival going on and according to Nora its the perfect first date setting.

When you arrive Bucky uses his free hand to wave someone over. “Steve!” He calls. A man comes over. He’s blonde and has a nice face, but he’s also on the small side. In fact, Nora is a good two inches taller than him. He notices this and grimaces. 

“Steve, Nora. Nora, Steve.” Bucky says, introducing them.

Steve gives a half-hearted smile and shakes her hand, keeping the other tucked in his pocket.

“So, this your girl?” Steve asks, nodding at you.

Bucky turns red and you grin. “Your girl?” You tease. He gives Steve a hard look and scratches the back of his neck. “Darlin’ this is my best friend Steve. Or he was until that comment.” He says, you all laugh. Steve holds out his hand, you’re shorter than him and this seems to set him at ease. “It’s nice to meet you, Buck’s told me a lot about you. I can’t for the life of me figure out why you stick around.” He teases. You laugh again.

The night goes well after that. You take a quick liking to Steve and he to you. Nora even seems to enjoy herself, though it's easy to tell she’s not really attracted to Steve, she’s a good sport nonetheless. 

When you find a minute to be alone Bucky tells you how relieved he is that you and Steve get along. You give him a questioning look. He bites his lip. “Look, I’m not really great at this whole thing. But you’re important, and Steve is important and if you two didn’t get along..this couldn’t work, and I want it to work.” He says in a soft voice. “I like you a lot, doll. And I was hoping that we could go out again…and then keep going out..” He says sheepishly. “Like..I was hoping you’d be my..girlfriend.” He says, turning red.

You turn a bit pink yourself. “Oh. I-Yes.” You stammer out. “I mean, I’d like to keep going on dates. See if this can get to the point of..me being your girlfriend.” You say very softly.

You don’t get to discuss it further because Steve and Nora come back over with some peanuts.

Bucky walks you and Nora home, she heads to her flat and you stay outside with Bucky for a bit. You talk quietly with each other, your fingers tangled together. “I don’t think I mentioned how beautiful you look tonight.” He says softly and brushes a piece of your hair back. “You don’t look bad yourself.” You say softly.

He glances down at your lips then, and then back up to your eyes. You don’t know who leans in first, or who closes the gap, but his lips are on yours. It's gentle and sweet and he tastes faintly of peanuts but you don’t mind. You both pull away before it gets too heated.

“When can I see you again?” He whispers.

“Tomorrow.” You say. You’re both a bit breathless.

And that’s how it starts. That's how you begin to fall in love with Bucky Barnes. Despite the fact that you know better, that this can only end in pain, you can’t find it in yourself to regret it.

My and @writingfish‘s various chats on the idea of ‘what would happen if LoS!Trevor was Dracul’s daughter, not his son’.

For one thing, I don't think Trevor would be raised as a warrior in this. I don't remember precisely, but I don't think the Brotherhood had any female fighters?

writingfish Probably not. They might make an exception since Trevor was 'fated' to kill Drac

hamelin-born I think, in case of a female!Trevor, they'd either have the choice of training her to be a fighter (and probably ignoring her gender and treating her like a boy)

 or they'd take the prophecy the other way - figure that the prophecy said 'Dracula's /blood/', and encourage her to get married young and have a lot of kids.

hamelin-born For the latter, I think that - well. Even if Trevor (Did you know that Trevor can also be used as a female name? Thank you, google-fu!) is 100% human - she's still the offspring of the Prince of Darkness. I think destiny would probably arrange things so she came face-to-face with her father, one way or another.

 And, if we play to stereotypes - never underestimate a woman prepared to do ANYTHING to protect her children.

The Brotherhood comes for one (or more) of Trevor's kids, intending to training THEM up to kill Dracula.

They leave her alone, telling her they'll be back in a day to collect her son(s).

However, unlike her mother, Trevor basically thinks that no way in HELL is she letting this happen, packs up her things, grabs her kid(s), and runs like hell.

...maybe it's deliberate, maybe it isn't - but she runs straight to Castle Dracula.

(I don't see male!Sypha in the picture; for some reason, my mind's stuck on the image of Trevor as a single mom.)

hamelin-born Dracula would have no idea how to react to a mother clumsily holding a combat cross in front of her and her offspring, snarling that they're not HERE to challenge him or for any kind of trouble, they're hiding from the damned Brotherhood (child-stealing BASTARDS) and they'll be on their way just as soon as they find a way OUT of the damn place.

...Trevor's formerly non-existent combat skills increase by leaps and bounds in the combat-rich environment of the castle, especially if she has kid(s) to protect. It's learn or die - and she has a certain amount of natural talent

He'd be amused by the sheer length and bredth of the invective that Trevor hurls at the Brotherhood.

...I don't think the Brotherhood would have let Trevor know exactly WHY they wanted her son(s). They'd probably have said that one of them is 'destined' to destroy Dracula. (Trevor would be fully prepared to spit destiny in the eye if it came to keeping her kid(s) safe).

...I like the idea of Dracul visiting male!Sypha's grave, to sincerely thank his unknown son-in-law. For making his daughter happy, for encouraging her ‘un-womanely-like’ interest in weapon s(it saved her life when she ran with the kid(s)), for giving Dracul grandchildren - he would have liked to know male!Sypha. He sounds like a good man.

I kind of like the idea of girl!Trevor having more then one kid.

Or of being pregnant when she stumbled into Draculas Castle.

She tells Dracul to get /someone/ boiling sheets, gets one succubus to stand by the end of the bed and report on what she sees, and for another to hold her hand, damn it!

The succubi get a crash course (literally Trevor screaming the instructions at them) on human reproduction and labor.

...Trevor's pretty sure she's dying. Dracul can hear her heart slowing, and makes her the offer.

Except this time, Trevor is very seriously considering it, because she /can't/ leave her kids, not when one is literally an /infant/. She can't leave them like this. She /can't/

(Dracul was fucking FURIOUS when he realized just what was going on - both with his daughter, and with his grandchildren)

It's actually a very difficult choice for Trevor. Because - because if she accepts her father's offer to Turn her, she might lose any chance to ever see male!Sypha again - and she loved him, she loved him, she LOVED him.

There's also the very strong likelihood that she'll outlive her children.

But Trevor knows that her husband would forgive her anything, Anything. And she knows that her children need her NOW. And she would do anything, anything for them.

writingfish Yep and since I was reading the cv wiki again, at the very end, when the world is gone and humanity finally spreads to the stars, she and Dracul finally have their rest and see their family again

hamelin-born But until then, they can be parent and child. And - well. Upon thought - this is basically the same choice that Gabriel had, didn't he? He chose to do everything he did ultimately because he wanted to save people - to bring back his wife, maybe? Trevor chooses to accept her father's offer to be there for her children, to save people?

hamelin-born Really, Trevor and Dracul are - very similar in this AU; they'd both burn down the world, do ANYTHING, for their loved ones.

Also: 'Your castle is the one place the damned brotherhood won't go /anywhere/ near! And if you come anywhere /near/ my children, I'll decapitate you!'

The brotherhood might also have hinted that they'd really rather prefer it if Trevor married again and had LOTS of babies, which was an additional factor in her freak-out.

...Trevor is /relatively/ sure that they didn't have anything to do with male!Sypha's death. Relatively sure.

writingfish They keep trying to set her up with terrible men and when she runs away, she's disguised as a man maybe? And Dracul doesn't realize until he smells her blood

I suppose if it's early enough on, she could still pass as a man - if she has a kid, she could tell them it's a game, to call her 'papa' or 'uncle'

hamelin-born Trevor knows she's outclassed - she barely knows how to fight, she's got the freaking Brotherhood of Light after her, she's currently facing the Prince of Darkness - but she is not going to give up. No. Not when her /children/ are at stake.

Dracul is probably amused by the fact that this 'man' is willing to turn down the brotherhood and ended up stumbling into /his/ castle.

...in a couple novels I've read a person who is truly In Love is protected from a Succubus' effect. Trevor is still desperately in love with her deceased husband.

Thus, Dracula is forced to play hide-and-seek across his own Castle, because even though he doesn't intend to hurt/kill the woman and her kid anymore, Trevor is doing everything possible to Get Away.

writingfish The succubi are of no help and Trevor and Simon somehow manage to charm most of the monsters they come across too, so Drac has no help

Dracula has one very INTERESTING moment when Trevor and Simon are running away from the manticore-thing (the beast that had it out for Trevor in MoF)

Trevor doesn't slow down when she sees Dracul, simply shouts 'OUT OF THE WAY!' and literally tramples him as she RUNS FOR IT.

 writingfish He takes notice of her features and wonders why they look familiar. Also, this was very similar to how he and Marie met, so he just sits and stares and tries to figure out wtf he's feeling

hamelin-born He has about three seconds to contemplate it before the manticore thing threatens to trample him as it chases after the mother and son duo.

Maybe he finally manages to catch up with Simon and Trevor in the mirror room?

Except she's standing in front of That Damn Mirror now. And the mirror starts glowing.

 hamelin-born And past and future unfurl before their astonished eyes. They see Marie, crying on her bed as the brotherhood takes her child, and Trevor grips Simon tightly at a scene that strikes all too close to home.

She doesn't know who this woman is, but she empathizes.

But Gabriel know. Gabriel knows exactly who this woman is, and he gapes because - Marie. It's the first time he's seen her in years, and - a child. They had a /child/?

But before he begins to rave and rage, the mirror swirls again, and - it's. It's a fast-forward, and they see the baby (his child!) and -

And it's Trevor on her wedding day.

And Dracul KNOWS why the servants called her 'young dragon'.

hamelin-born girl!Trevor is wary and suspicious of Dracul even after it's revealed that he's her father, but he's consistently kind and attentive to Simon and just so awkwardly enthusiastic about this parenting thing that she finds herself actually beginning to regard him as family.

I love the idea of female!LOS!Trevor managing to bulldoze her way through the Castle, toddler!Simon in tow, through sheer bullheaded stubborness, the determination that her kid(s) will NOT die here, and raw talent that is becoming progressively more shaped with each monster she takes down.

writingfish Yep. She gets hurt though and tries very hard to hide it from Simon

hamelin-born She does her very best to make Simon think that this - that this is a game. She's doing everything in her power to make him be less scared - Simon doesn't really buy the 'game' bit, but he does have an unconditional faith that his mom is unbeatable and everything will be fine. Trevor - tries very hard to live up to that.

hamelin-born Oooh, in the girl!Trevor AU, all the creatures of the Dark would call her 'Young Princess'

And -  After she's given birth to her daughter, when she starts bleeding out because the bleeding just won't STOP - Dracul hears her heartbeat slowing, he knows the signs, he knows the signs better then anyone LIVING of someone dying of blood loss. And he makes her the offer.

And Trevor considers for a long, long moment, a thousand different things flickering through her mind - seeing male!Sypha again, eternity unwinding before her, long and lonely and barren, outliving everything and everyone she loves - and her children. Her bright, wonderful children who need their mother...

And she looks at Gabriel, and says. "Do it. Before I change my mind."

(I still think she wakes up with white hair. It's just - part of the aesthetic, now.)

And yes, I was deliberately mis-quoting LOS2 there.

...I kind of want to say that she wakes up to some Brotherhood goon trying to STEAL HER BABIES (and promptly drains them dry as her first act in unlife), but that - is extremely unplausible. For one thing, Dracul would be hovering over her and the kids like a - well, like a /dragon/ until she wakes up; anything hostile comes within 50 miles of the Castle, that thing /dies/. He is NOT going to lose his family again.

writingfish Nope. Maybe he changes into a dragon and perches on the walls sometimes

hamelin-born Trevor wakes up to her father brushing her (now-white) hair and her babies snuggled at her side. ...also, being as how she is neither greviously injured not actively fighting said change, she probably wakes up in a couple of nights rather then several decades.

 If Dracul does that, he should be warned that his grandkids will clap excitedly at the sight and beg to climb on his back, please please please?

hamelin-born Like, I'm pretty sure that female!Trevor would be something of a tomboy in her youth. ...and probably try and teach herself to fight/practice with weapons in her spare time, despite the fact that the Brotherhood is probably trying to mold her into a dutiful wife and pop out a bunch of sons they can train to throw at Dracula.

female!Trevor defies them by marring male!Sypha - who is probably NOT a member of the brotherhood, but a wonderful, kind, loving, magic user/Speaker (?) that Trevor falls desperately in love with.

Male!Sypha probably raised no objections whatsoever when his wife took over the majority of the hunting for game for the table and accompanied him on long, dangerous journies.

Hero Whisperer AU

The following is a series of headcanons continuing on from the idea presented in this post [here].

Due to his new found status among the recently departed Toshinori finds interactions with the physical world to be somewhat tricky. If he finds himself around someone such as Izuku however this natural difficulty can be circumvented somewhat because when the other is present he may borrow from the teen’s ambient energy thus,allowing him to preform certain tasks, with less difficulty than he normally would have. The downside to this however is that when a ghost has enough energy to actually affect the material world they cannot to remain intangible as per their natural state.

Most of the little everyday stuff that Toshinori does doesn’t drain Izuku’s energy all that much. Possession, on the other hand is a different story. If they’re not careful they can potentially knock themselves unconscious or worse. This happened somewhat frequently in the early days of their partnership but as Izuku got stronger an later gained control of One-for-All the risk of this occuring has lessened somewhat but they still have to be careful not to overdo it and burn themselves out.

It has been found that over time that possession has lead to the development of some rather interesting side effects between the pair. This of which includes (but is not limited to) alteration of appearance (I.E: Izuku’s eyes doing the same weird shadowed glow thing that Toshinori’s does) or a blurring of one’s sense of self in which both parties could potentially pick up traits and habits from the the other individual and in severe cases even lead to a complete bleed-through of thoughts/  memories/emotions.

The first time either of them experienced this “blending of self” was during the Entrance Exams. As time has went on it and the bond between the two has steadily developed these bleed-through episodes have grown exponetially and become as such that it is often times hard to distinguish what is exactly “Izuku” and what is “Toshinori”. This is something that unnerves both of them greatly.

As a ghost Toshinori can change his appearance at will. He often uses this ability to simply change outfits (despite having no real need to do so whatsoever) because in his own words “casual clothing isn’t really all that professional and as a teacher and I should probably wear something a bit more suiting don’t you think?” (”Well...Yes, I guess...but...All Might, the majority of the class and teachers can’t even see you. So what does it really matter if...” “They can’t exactly see young Hagakure either and yet she still finds the need to wear the uniform just as you do Midoriya, my boy.” “...Okay point.”)

If Toshinori was ever to be overcome by some form of extreme emotion it might actually be possible for him to become visible to those around him if only for a brief instant. In this visible state he usually is perceived as a sort of shadowed silhouette with glowing yellow eyes (think something along the lines of the One-for-All ghosts.) This does cause some...problems down the line.

Seeing as he’s a ghost and doesn’t need to do the stuff normal human need to do to survive he usually spends this new found free time looking over his lesson plans or going out on patrol (because even through he’s pretty much dead that doesn’t mean he can’t still be a hero.) 

Toshinori somehow manages to become a sort of surrogate dad for all the ghostly youths that linger around U.A. (and there seems to be a rather alarming amount of them for some strange reason...)

And just as All Might is adopted into their fold so to is his young successor. With the spirits behaving as though he were one of they own it is a near unanimous decision that they need to keep an eye on their new unofficial younger brother because holy fuck is this child reckless and self-sacrificing and he’s is straight up going to get himself killed one of these days.

So yeah the ghosts are all pretty much chill when it comes to them... well all of them except for this one asshole...They’re a being that Toshinori managed stumble upon one day while exploring an old storage room that and man were they not happy with the specter at all. That was the day when they discovered first hand how dangerous a Reverant could truly be.

Izuku knows how to pick locks. He learned how after this one incident when he was younger when some bullies thought it would be a fun idea to steal his stuff and lock him in one of the school’s old storage closets. He had to wait hours for the evening janitor come in to rescue him back then because everyone had gone home for the day. (The boy explains this to Toshinori with a self-deprecating chuckle as he proceeds to demonstrate aforementioned skill, just missing the expression on his newfound companion’s face. ”Because sometimes-” he says, with a bittersweet smile pulling at his lips, “-you need to know how to rescue yourself too.”)

Izuku actually first meets Nedzu while trying to pick the lock on All Might’s front door as he’s attempting to retrieve the fallen hero’s body from inside. (It understandably slipped Toshinori’s mind that the other was coming over that day to discuss some things about his future teaching position.)

Nedzu seems to be a bit too accepting of the fact that All Might’s kind of dead and that there’s some seemingly random kid that was literally not five seconds ago trying to break into said former pro-hero’s apartment standing in front of him and truth be told it kind of freaks Izuku (and Toshinori to an extent) the hell out. (As it turns out he could see and hear the dead man the entire time.)

Aside from Izuku, Nedzu, Recovery Girl and Naomasa no one knows that All Might is no longer among the living. Gran Torino, however, is one of the first to figure it out later when he finally meets Izuku and is -understandably- not happy with the situation and just maybe a bit somber about the whole thing because goddamn it if he hasn’t outlived yet another person he cared about. (“What? Did you think I honestly wouldn’t notice all the staring off into space and the mumbling you do?  I’m old, not stupid...Besides, Toshinori did the same damn thing when he was your age.” The aforementioned man stubbornly refuses to comment upon this.) 

When Toshinori (and by extension Izuku) actually join the faculty at U.A. the staff and students are given an...very abridged...explanation of the situation the two are now faced with. (“Oh no. All Might’s really there, I promise! He just...well, you see, he sorta got hit with this one villain's quirk. Yeah and supposedly it does something weird to perception and so to make long story short he’s just sort of...invisible. Oh and inaudible too.” “What.” “Oh and did i forget mention it was kind of permanent?.” ”What.” “Hey don’t look at me like that! It was a surprise to us too! But as it out it doesn’t really effect everyone so some people -like myself- can still see him and we are completely willing to help out around with classes and such so he’s can still preform his duties as a teacher. Honest!”)

Bakugou’s not the only one who manages to overhear Todoroki’s conversation with Izuku at the sports festival. (Toshinori just about manages to nearly die yet again when the young Todoroki calls Izuku his “illegitimate son.”) The hero decides that maybe he could have a few words with some fellow spirits to see if they they can look after the poor boy (and if they by any chance decide to make Endeavor's life a hell while they’re at it well it’s no problem of his.)
