i was so excited to wear my gender affirming leather vest and short gay hair to the MCR concert that for a moment, i lived in a world where homophobia/transphobia didn’t exist...

#and then i got harassed in a bathroom!#i am not upset about it anymore but i am kind of amused by my response because at the time i was so baffled & confused #ma'am you are at the Gay & Trans Band Concert! why are you surprised to see me there!#i just genuinely forgot i was just genuinely like 'why is this happening to me??????'#And Then I Remembered #also i know this isn't the point but I was simply so slow to process what was happening #that once I recalled societal oppressive forces exist even at an MCR concert I got stuck on 'but where am i supposed to go????'#that is Not the Point. the point is i am supposed to go nowhere #anyway!
