idk i just like that kendrick sampled Laura Palmer's Theme on the track where he told drake "fix your heart or die"
#twin peaks#meet the grahams#i THINK the 4 piano note phrase is the one from laura palmers theme but either pitched up or played at a higher octave#that's what adam neely cited on his q&a video abt the song#and i listened to the twin peaks soundtrack and it sounded plausible to me#and it doesn't feel like a reach to me#that it's specifically the leitmotif of a teen sex abuse victim#abt how drake needs to experience ego death & go on an inner journey to confront the rot at the heart of [north] american society>#>& his own part in reproducing and continuing that violence#....or die.
