I've had the new shitty tumblr layout for a while but...are they getting rid of icons, too?

I can see the icons of people in a reblogged post, like the chain of commenters, but the icons of the actual people I follow and use those icons as visual shorthand to identify are gone. 😐

I too make terrible decisions but right now they only affect me AND i dont get paid for it #this is why I keep auto updates on my phone off. app is decent but desktop is shitttt #(which blows bc app can't handle me scrolling for more than 3 minutes before the lag becomes unbearable. unfunctional on all fronts lol)
