Time to remember that before the Costa comic run, Eddie and Symby were separated and not on good terms, yet went from that straight to "my love" and "bonded like marriage," so obviously when Eddie and Venom get back together soon after the end of The Last Dance, they're going straight into Costaesque wedded bliss as that's what happens whenever Eddie and Symby get separated in the comics ("ooh yeah that's it baby wrap those tentacles around me" etc)
