17. an earliest obsession you remember?

Hmm. Probably collecting rocks, and I LOVED Power Rangers when I was a kid, like definitely obsessed, but I wasn't allowed to watch it so I had to watch it in secret haha. My biggest obsession when I was younger though started when I was nine, at the beginning of the golden age of 90s/2000s pop when I discovered the Backstreet Boys and was smitten for the next 25+ years hehe.

23. do you have a collection of cool rocks?

Do I have a collection of cool rocks?  DO I?  Lmao I love that this is the next question when my first obsession was collecting rocks.  As a life-long rock and mineral lover and now a minor in geology, I absolutely have a very big collection of cool rocks.

Lemme go take a pic of my collection.

^ These hold most of my really nice specimens, the stuff I’ve been collecting for years from different rock and gem shows and the like.  Those containers hold about 20-30 specimens each, and the top smaller one holds a bunch of small fossils.

^ Then we have my larger fossil display in my room.  Some highlights are the sand dollar up top, some orthoceratids (the straight cone-like ones on the left), a small baculite, an ammonite and several small trilobites.

^ Then my amethyst display, because I love amethyst and my hometown is where some of the most beautiful amethyst is found.  The little brown piece on the top right corner is aragonite, though, not amethyst.  The blue and white piece at the bottom right of the pic is sodalite, another of my favourite minerals.

And this is far from the end of it.  There are larger rocks and some small displays all over the house, and I have an entire bag of minerals that I bought last year that I’ve still yet to put away into my collection containers (although I may need to get another new container lol).  I also have several large rocks that I’ve collected myself, some of which have fossils in them.

45. favorite tea?

Ohh I like this question because I have a lot of favourite teas.  Most of them are David’s Teas, but some are other ones.

Herbal:  Banana Nut bread, Valerian Nights (for sleep, but tastes kinda fruit and coconut-y), Mighty Aphrodite (raspberry leaf), Celestial seasoning’s Sleepytime Tea (with vanilla) Black: Blueberry Jam, Cardamom French Toast Green: The Spice is Right (a nice spicy Fall taste), Movie Night (it actually has popcorn in it :O), Celestial Seasoning’s Candy Cane Lane (mint and vanilla, tastes like misty mints) Rooibos: Alpine Punch (kind of a Christmas blend), chai.

I know there’s others that I’m forgetting but this is what I can remember right now :D
