Every day I'm reminded how lucky I was that BBC America was running a Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon while I was stuck in the hospital.

I’m watching The Big Bang Theory in its natural setting—playing in the background of a hot spiral room—and I can say within that specific context, it is a very charming show. Like the saltine crackers of media.

#was only supposed to be there one night #if at all #but there were Complications #Complications the doc was fully prepared to handle #but it did mean staying a couple nights longer #and I did not want to deal with my laptop #and I hate watching things on my phone #so the TV it was #I was so happy to see Worf while I was flipping through channels #that I didn't even care how jarring it was to see him crushing on Deanna #because I hadn't gotten that far in rewatching it yet #as far as I knew #they were going to spend the entire series #in a Troy/Riker will they/won't they scenario #of course it took about ten seconds #before I was all in on the Worf/Troy train #and then I saw someone on Twitter say something #that suggested they didn't end up together at the end of the series #and my heart genuinely broke a little
