hello!! long time follower here and wanted to know if say I wanted to get into ghost where would you recommend starting?? Living for all the content and every time I see it I'm 👀👀 ((anyways hope you have a good day/night!! Sorry if this is long or ramble-y))

WHOA!!! crazy, I’m always glad to see long time followers interested in my hyperfixation tirades LOL. tumblr is special that way, because every other social I just post art, but here I’m like mmm I shall reblog a million posts bc hyperfixating :] but anyways,,

getting into ghost is best started wherever you enjoy media the most! I actually discovered ghost like, 4-5 years ago back in high school. I had listened to their songs cirice, faith, mummy dust, and from the pinnacle to the pit. I was like whoa haha religious-themed satanic adjacent hard rock, cool! but it kinda ended at that for me.

it wasn’t until I delved deeper into their music where suddenly I was like whoa wait, there’s like fantastic music and imagery here, which led to me watching the mvs, which led to watching live shows, and then fanart, and then gif sets, and so on.

so, if you like listening to music, just jump into the music! slap that “this is ghost” Spotify playlist on and vibe out to it (my personal favorites right now are spirit, call me little sunshine, and per aspera).

if you’re more interested in the visual aspect of stuff, I recommend checking out their music videos! or even just going on the tag and looking through gif sets from random things like live shows and interviews.

if you’re interested in the lore aspect, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the YouTube video “an unhelpful guide to ghost”. it’s silly, but it really does help run down mostly whatever the fuck is going on here. it’s a lot, but if you get into it, it’ll slowly become easier to understand.
