So lemme give you some nice Polish films:- 'Twardowsky’ and 'Twardowsky 2.0' - it's a short s-f movie (you can watch it on YT, only 30 min for two parts). There is a whole series of films made by Allegro. They are based on Polish folk tales. It's really good because of the actors and Tomasz Bagiński's work. I recommend this movie to get attention of people who even don't know a shit about Polish culture and Poland.TBC...

- Katedra - Baginski's movie, based on a story of Jacek Dukaj (one of the best s-f Polish writers EVER). Only 7 min, you can watch it on YTHere we go with comedy movies:- Sami Swoi – an old, a black and white movie (you can find also it in colour). The story is similar to the “Romeo and Julliet” one but in a humouristic way. It shows two families who hate each other and are trying to make a hell out of the neighbor’s life. TBC...

- Seksmisja – the Earth is ruled by women, there are only two men left – and they are trying to survive in this world. There is a famous quote “Kobieta mnie bije!”. And Jerzy Stuhr is one of the greatest Polish actors ever!- Miś – this is how the Polish People's Republic. I can’t tell anything more, you just have to watch it. It is hilarious <3 TBC...

- Vinci – some random people are trying to steal Da Vinci’s painting from Kraków. Not the best comedy, but still worth watching.- Kiler – similar to Chłopaki nie płaczą, a really good one. It’s a stupid but at the same time very funny movie.

- Dzień świra – a philosophical movie, kind of a comedy. I’m not sure if it’s the best film for the first “Polish night” but you should watch it. It’s different from most Polish movies.- Chce się żyć – a story of a guy with cerebral palsy. What’s surprising, from the guy’s prespective. Both sad and funny. Oh my gosh amazing.  Should I take this one by one?

I need to catch up with Allegro’s stuff oh gosh.  That could actually be a great idea... Sami Swoi is now an option.  I actually want to see it a lot. Dzień Świra.  I’ve seen it and I did enjoy it a lot but I do agree that it may not be the best for a first movie because it is pretty different from what people are used to. Miś and Seksmisja I need to see as well.  They are on the list and I think I can get Miś so there’s another option. Vinci, Kiler - Both I love and I really wanted to do Vinci, but they are unavailable through my library system :c  The second part is on youtube with captions, but I’m not sure how that would work.   Chce się żyć is the only one I haven’t heard of actually wow.  I’ll have to look into it too.
