I finally watched the new Barbie movie and I'm very confused
#WHAT IS THE LORE#what even is the moon ritual#wtf is the competition for#why was the keeper (what even is her role btw???) not part of the chosen people from the beginning#why did stacie get her powers after using them for one second but some adult born mermaids who've practiced a lot don't#why was the green mermaid so hot#jk#why did they have to bring back the scientist and give her the most random backstory from nowhere#tf was the purpose of the crown she found?? give it to barbie?? wasn't she supposed to get a new one with her powers anyway#why do the mermen get wrist stuff instead of a crown#*i meant skipper not stacie
