Happy Birthday, @chachaclayton. Today I baked desserts for a friend’s birthday celebration and his favorite is strawberry. So I made cinnamon sugar and strawberry sugar coated churros (recipe from @bonappetitmag) with a kick ass strawberry sauce, a strawberry and cream cake from @thebakefeed, and @nigellalawson lemon tendercakes with blueberry compote (just in case there was someone who didn’t like strawberry). When I was in a café in Kansas City, I ate more mini lemon bundt cakes than a human being should be able to manage in one sitting. But I can’t tell you how easy it was.
