I feel sorry for the idiots who genuinely think that Emily Bett Rickards ‘stole’ Katie Cassidy’s leading lady ‘status’ from her and pushed her out of her job causing her to become less relevant over time and eventually not necessary at all, which is why they killed off Laurel in the end. 

Maybe it was just because she was a bitch who couldn’t act and kept trying to force herself into a role she didn’t have instead of accepting and representing her character the way she was, rather than what she wanted her to be. 

Emily is a better actress, has more grasp of her character, and is a generally much nicer person.
