I've said this before on Twitter, but one time I read a Guardian fanfic that mentioned a "flimsy hospital gown" and it completely broke my immersion

Because this is a show that literally has multiple hospital scenes. Even if you don't know what Chinese people generally wear in hospital, you would know what they wear in the Guardian universe if you'd been paying any attention!

#I've always been weirded out by the American custom like wtf #tbh i think in my country you're mostly expected to bring your own clothes??? obviously not possible in every emergency #but I've been hospitalised for both physical and mental reasons and never saw anyone wear special hospital clothes #presumably they keep some on hand for people who come in with destroyed/filthy clothes after an accident and such #i know the psych ward had a stash of clothes for disoriented patients who came in half naked and unhoused people etc. but other than that??#anyway #;
