the thing is I already know that men and society at large hate women. I know that young men in particular increasingly skew right and towards misogyny (I've read the articles, although all I really need to do is spend any time on any part of the internet to see the evidence). but then every so often something like this happens where it still somehow surprises me. like my god.. they really hate us this much.

I don't want to EVER hear "sexual abuse allegations ruin a man's life and career :(" or "false allegations are just as bad a crime" again. I don't want to hear that ridiculous "imagine the backlash and punishment if the genders were reversed!" argument that shows up every time there's any instance of inappropriate behaviour by women towards men. we don't have to imagine actually!!! we know that in actual real life if a man has a decades long history of sexual abuse and misconduct he gets to be elected president twice!!!!!

Some tips for high quality GIFs

1. Turn on dithering! This makes the colours of your GIFs blend together more seamlessly and look less crunchy.

2. Bump up that frame rate! At the cost of a bigger file, a higher framerate makes for a smoother gif.

3. It doesn't have to be massive! When I make stim GIFs, I crop and resize them so those gifs are 300x300 pixels.

4. If you're dedicated, invest in good software! Photoshop is a subscription service now and for as powerful as it can be, I can't recommend it because of that price point. Instead, I use Honeycam GIF editor. If you don't mind the watermark, it's free! If not, the full program is a single payment of under 30 dollars with every feature included. Compared to Photoshop (30 bucks monthly subscription), that's a steal in my books! If you're strapped for cash, Photopea is free!

5. Practice and experiment! Play around with settings and effects and find your own style. Have fun with it! Good luck, and don't forget to credit your sources!
