hi thank you!!! these are excellent questions which i've honestly thought endlessly about. shorter answer first: rem isn't in stay atm, although i might integrate her at some point if i can think of something fgkjh. ryuk however is one of the budtenders at god's lettuce pretzel & weed emporium, the (fictional) dispensary in toronto where light buys his weed. they sell weed legally and pretzels illegally, since you can't sell food in ontario cannabis stores. this will come up eventually.

longer answer: SO misa's group is a subunit of NCT, which is a real group from SM entertainment. (sorry if you already know this, but for practical reasons i'll answer this as if you don't hgjlfgh.) nct's unique feature is being divided into a bunch of different subunits with different specialties; lovenote is a fictional seventh all-girl subunit. they debuted in the last two years or so and are already wildly popular. personality-wise, they have a reputation for being very polished but irreverent. misa's a polarizing member because her persona is clearly fake, but that's kind of the appeal of the group overall. people like them because you can tell they're barely keeping it together in interviews. (the debut era means misa is a fair bit younger than beyond -- lovenote debuted at relatively late ages but RE:4PER debuted in 2013. i want to say she's ~ 21 to his 28. this is a nonzero part of their controversy.) NCT and therefore lovenote have a heavy and somewhat experimental sound -- my models for lovenote are firetruck, hot sauce and smoothie. That being said it has ace Reigen in it and it made me cry 👍 4) The Negligible Self by ch_am (mp100) anything and everything by camp is a gift honestly. Angsty generally, full of whump specifically, it makes the soft, tender moments hit better and it's still in progress! Join the fun as i lose my mind with every single update! Yay! (people in the comments in ao3 are also trying to find out what is going on and it's fun) (it has a prequel too which is really good and canon-adjacent) 5) Kintsugi by SpicyChibi (mp100) it took me a week to recover from reading this. mp100 fanwriters have a way of capturing the vulnerability of serirei in a way that physically hurts me. Tender, good, I love them, I love them, I love them. Ongoing and 90,000 words so far. 6) Like A Cheap Suit, You Can Wear Me Out by Vulcanodon (mp100) written like a romantic comedy and made me laugh at every twist and turn of the plot. The last scene is forever ingrained in me and it actually makes me emotional. Case fic again and a very fun one 7) Heart Rate Rapid by Justkeeptrekkin (mp100) teacher au, all the children in one class, ongoing, literally finshed it yesterday, ACE REIGEN BELOVED. (so far no explicit content so don't pay too much mind to the rating, there are discussions of sex but only briefly and on a surface level) I love their banter and the transition from friendship to something more... sigh 8) where the night goes by bigspoonnoya (hq!!) 'the sad gay with the happy ending' tag got to me. I love bittersweet stories with happy endings (can you tell) and this one has kagehina in it.... utterly head over heels for stories where they meet many years later. 9) fake it, make it by zadderlee (hq!!) And in college. the romance aspect is there but it mostly focuses on other things. And i love it.

okay, here's how i imagine i would react to talking to the members:

minseok: i think i would get REALLY nervous, but i would know how to hide it. if it was on a fancall though i would need to clean my room or he would probably scold me 🥴 i would tell him how proud i am of him, and how he never fails to make me smile.

junmyeon: i would do my best not to cry, but i probably would. junmyeon would smile and be like "nooo, don't cry". it wouldn't be hard to talk to him though, and i don't think i would get too nervous. it probably would feel like talking to an old friend 🥹

yixing: i would shit myself just by being near this man. i respect yixing SO MUCH, it's crazy. would probably shake a lot and he would be confused. i would also thank him for working so hard, for voicing my fears and desires, and would try to make him understand that we will ALWAYS love him, that eris/xbacks aren't going anywhere.

baekhyun: good luck to him because i would ugly cry the whole time. i feel like i have a strong connection to baekhyun, so i would have so many things to tell him but i wouldn't be able to. emotion would probably get the best of me and i would cry, cry and cry.

jongdae: the exact same thing. he's my person, he changed my whole life with 'i don't even mind'. i would probably ugly cry and ask him if i could show him my tattoo (it's on my ribs, so of course i would need his permission). good luck to understand my mumbling while i cry tho, dae 🤷‍♀️

chanyeol: i would probably have an anxiety attack before, but i would be pretty chill while talking to him, i think. i love chanyeol sooo much but he's just so nice, so cute. would put an extra effort into making him laugh.

kyungsoo: same thing as chanyeol. my ultimate goal would be to make this man laugh, crack a smile, look at me with shining big eyes. i would probably talk to him about movies though, not exactly music (even though i love singer kyungsoo, of course).

jongin: i don't know what to say here, truly. would probably be really, really nervous. i would tell him how cool i think he is, wouldn't get too emotional otherwise i would faint in front of him lol would also probably give him that letter i posted here once 🥺

sehun: wouldn't be a bit nervous, just really excited. sehun is like the best person out there, so i would try to make him comfortable while i tell him how cool he is. the moment i walk away though i would probably fall to my knees and cry for a whole hour because i just talked to my best friend.
