The exams week has started so no time to draw or write anything personal ToT

Writing got harder for me and @mistalintu as we are unsure of where the story is going exactly, so we're going to revisit our outline. We started by using Harmon's circle, now I just want to check if it works with the four act structure (and something tells me we'll need to change things up a lot from the midpoint forward). Got a nice short conspect of Ellen Brock's videos to reference as we work as well.

The biggest problem is that we have to make the story both narratively satisfying and conveying the moral successfully (enough, as people will still inevitably read it their own way regardless of our effort). And sometimes we have to choose between a cool plot twist that contradicts the message and a somewhat lame one that fits better.

Waltzing with Narcissus is currently on hiatus as I'm plotting SWARM and a secret fan fiction thing ;)

Hopefully can still convince @kimsbian to translate (this person is an angel fulfilling my requests)

My first comics' official translation dropped! Check it out with the tag "My dead ex best friend", but be wary, the main topic of the work is grief.

Also, uni started once again. And the projects are just DEADLY this module (we study by model system, which means we have four exam periods a year). Wish me luck.

I think I will make weekly WIP and sketches post with everything I’ve done in the last week. Here are sketches of my OCs for the new story I’m working on. Not telling you anything yet so as not to spoil the fun.

Hi! Haven't been able to draw too much this week, but here's what I was able to make. Also made some templates for these weekly reports.

@mistalintu and I tried writing a Stardust Crusaders space opera!AU fic, but we're much too busy writing Waltzing with Narcissus to start a new thing. But the idea was fun, so I'm sharing it in case anybody wants to borrow it.

Things start to go south when Jotaro gains psyonic powers. Those are not common among humans so his grandfather drags him to meet an alien named Kakyoin, whose species is known for their psyonics. Kakyoin, however, acts very strangely and even attacks Jotaro, who learns through brief mind contact that Kakyoin is controlled by a gamma-parasyte. Such parasytes come from New Cairo, a human colony infested by an alpha-parasyte called D.I.O. Jotaro's psyonic powers destroy the gamma-parasyte and xenomedics safely get it out of Kakyoin's brain. The brief contact with the thing allows Jotaro to learn that a DNA chip for a cure his family desperately needs to save his mom Holly from a rare space virus is there, on New Cairo.

And so Jotaro, his grandfather Joseph, Avdol, the only surviving colonist from New Cairo, and Kakyoin, Jotaro's new psyonics trainer, head to the infested colony on a ship conveniently called the Stardust Crusader.

Jean-Pierre was adopted by humans and is thus very French. He attacks the crusaders on Charon, gets his ass kicked by Avdol and his brains cleaned by Jotaro and becomes the team's medic. Avdol is the pilot, Kakyoin is the navigator, Jotaro manages the weapons and the defence systems and Joseph is a mechanic (who is not allowed anywhere near the bridge after what happened the last two times).
