when I'm done with this playthrough I'm making a compilation of '*tender yet gently exasperated/concerned and helpless rye voice* taash...' b/c it's something that is actually so personal. to me. he just says their name in such a Way that he doesn't with anyone else

#he loves that blunt brash dragon hunter YOLOist with his whole gravekeeper heart #and also thinks they are some kind of divine retribution for all the shit he put his instructors through as a young man hfksjd #dragon age #dragon age: the veilguard #oc: Ellaryen Ingellvar #taash #the rare times when he says it almost exactly like shathann says 'evataash!!' in reproof fkhsajdfhsa #he also says 'lucanis...' with some of the same infinite tenderness and 'my heart is so full I barely know what to do with my hands #or my soul about it' intensity of affection and rueful powerlessness but not quite as regularly lol #(lucanis and rye's mutual 'please what can I do for you???' thing is very easily solved by an equally mutual 'just be here with me'#their like souls talk to each other real well or whatever they both Get it fairly quickly #'so if your mere company is my salvation and my company is somehow yours...
