The cake I ate yesterday had a cream puff-style dough with a cream cheese centre which was super delicious〜

Also there were 3 layers inside stacked with loads of strawberries and kiwis and mango which were all super fresh！

Looking at the cake if looked like The Choco Cake but it was actually a very interesting cake with a variety of flavours‼️

I wish I could have shared its deliciousness with the member-sans、and the staff-sans…

I often eat shortcakes for special events！

But this was my first time eating such an impressive cake

i did kinda explain the sitch a while back but that was months ago lol ijwegnies and the post is probably unfindable now but essentiallyy i really just don't have that big of an interest in kpop anymore so i have very little motivation to upkeep this blog to the same degree of activity it once was when i was at my peak stan days.

the biggest thing tying me to my blog is obviously my writing because i still ❤️ to write and i ❤️ supporting other writers to the best of my ability (my fic rec blog is slightly more active). i obviously catch updates here and there and i still listen to some of the music but y'know interests naturally change as we change!

ANYWHO. thank you for the support! and i'm happy you enjoyed reading my fic 💕 i do have ideas for the epilogue in the back of my brain somewhere but for FOR NOW...

excuse my audacity here but isn't it easier to write something for an old series you have recently finish than leaving it for later? by the time you write the epilogue you might lose interest or motivation. I'm just curious, cause if you're onto a new project it must mean you left her for a finished project before anyone gave you the idea to write a final piece.

the reason i didn't immediately jump into writing the epilogue was bc i simply wanted a break from the series. i had spent so much time proofreading, refining, and rewriting certain scenes that i wasn't in the headspace to push myself further. i never force myself to write bc this is a hobby i deeply enjoy, and by stripping away my choice to do it, i'm removing part of the leisure and fun!

also, taking time away from the series lets me work up ideas. i have more time to think abt what i would like to write. even though i am prioritizing my other fic at the moment, it doesn't mean i never think abt HER and what the epilogue should entail.

and i wouldn't worry abt me losing interest or passion in writing the epilogue. the reason i personally lose passion in a story is bc i failed to plan it well enough, so i get in too deep, it's just too messy, and i can't put a bow on it. but HER is a finished and fully realized work where i know and am comfortable with my characters. it makes returning to the epilogue easier.

okay OMG AND CAN I JUST SAY... flightless bird is genuinely one of the best fanfics i have ever read in my gee dee life. it is like truly phenomenal, i was obsessed with reading it last summer. i was crushing multiple chapters a day 😭 it's BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, OKAY? like it's about ballet, so it's very ballet terminology heavy, but goddd it was beautiful to read, i cannot express it enough!!

it definitely has serious subjects so if you read it, take heed of the author's warnings! honestly, i could sit here all day singing praises about flightless bird but the best thing you can do is read it 🤣

well ... DON'T THROW POTS & PANS AT ME!! but of the two stories neither is the epilogue 😭 and technically 🤓 i am only working on one story - i was tempted to start writing another but the most i did was jot down some bullet points so i wouldn't forget my ideas!! i don't want to get too ahead of myself... it always burns me 🥲

ANYWAYS!! the one that has been taking up my attention since like latee august, i actually am not going to reveal! i don't want to establish any sort of expectation for myself or anyone who might read it bc... idk... I CANNOT HANDLE THE PRESSURE!!! if i'm lucky it might be done by late summer, but also who knows.

however the other fic that i wrote down some bullet points for, i will reveal bc that's an idea light years away. but it would be a rewrite of a minghao fic from like 2020/2021 (?) called the weight of blood that i wrote. minghao & jun were demon brothers who lived underneath this mountain & the reader was a sacrifice to minghao lolz.

it was a rlyyyy short fic & i've thought abt expanding it for soooo long! but i always have had other things in the way.

ALSO IT'S LIKE FANTASY-ISH? and i SUCK at fantasy!!

i'm a slice of life legend!!!!!!! so fantasy is just really hard for me. i'm so used to elaborating the mundane & simple that fantasy is quite out of my reach.... but i think my writing style has perhaps evolved enough for me to potentially tackle something of the sort. but like i said i made bullet points so i have a basis!!

therefore me 1-2 years from now doesn't forget. bc honestslay my fics aren't getting any shorter and idgaf abt trying to condense anything at this point. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!

do not worry, though... i will write the epilogue for HER before i open a new can of worms <3
