Hello and welcome to Syd's storytime! Idk if this will be a reoccurring thing I just sometimes have stories that I need to share with people. So this week we had an old ass white man as a substitute in AP lit and this is like... The really grumpy kind that would steal a kids toy if it ended up over his fence

So a bit of context: this old man decided to create a bathroom sign out sheet for our class when we never use one and then he like left the class for a solid ten minutes.

So when he came back one of the quieter people in our class who is absolutely sweet asked to use the bathroom and this old man gets MAD. Bro had a D1 crash out yelling at this kid to use the sign out paper.

So the kid leaves and the rest of us are kinda just sitting there in shock. For our assignment we were having quiet book discussions in a Google doc and we all just went to the doc to talk about what had just happened.

RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT our AP lit teacher gets online to check in and everyone starts explaining what happened. She apologized but had to leave soon and the entire rest of class was spent roasting this substitute on the doc that he might have been able to see but we don't know.

Someone said he was going through menopause it was so fucking funny.

So yea our teacher read through all of our roasts and so did another one that we all love and they said we were hilarious, I love this generation.

Also our AP lit teacher gave the kid who got yelled at a book <3
