#jokes aside i did feel like this#until i heard brandon talk abt the experience#essentially he was trying to sleep in his bed and he felt like something was wrong#so he got up and went to a bar and saw his girlfriend with another guy#so essentially it's him wrestling with that#swimming through sick lullabies: he couldn't sleep#choking on your alibis: he could sense smth was wrong#and the whole destiny thing is kind of in reference to that at the time#he was torn between chasing stardom and settling down#and the brightside if that . well the song speaks for itself
